I went to Fancy Nails out of desperation because I didn't feel like making the 20-30 minute drive to my usual salon. When I arrived, I was asked to wash my hands, which felt a bit odd since I was only there for a pedicure. I sat down, and when I saw who would be doing my service, I honestly didn't feel confident--and unfortunately, that feeling turned out to be right. The foot scrubbing part was actually good, but once it came time for the polish, it went downhill. The application was very uneven, with noticeable lumps, and it just didn't look professionally done. I work 7 days a week, I work hard... Its not often I get to go enjoy myself..... I've been coming to this nail shop for over 15 years..... I pay good money for my pedicure and I always leave a TiP, today was the last time I'll ever spend my money there! the lady didn't file my toenails she didn't take the dead skin off the bottom she kite let me soak my feet for 35 mins and clean her tools in my feet water and rubbed lotion on my legs and called it a done deal.... if I didn't have respect for the owner I would have cussed this lady the fuck out and possibly spit on her for playing in my face! I'm so mad about this literally I'm gonna miss seeing Leo but this lady's carelessness to the wrong customer has caused this and I will tell my neighbors to start going to the shop by target! not fancy nails! read more

I went in for a pedicure and was immediately greeted with great enthusiasm! I haven't been exited to go to a nail salon in so long because I always get the worse results but I will absolutely be back! I have recommended this place to a few friends and they have also all said great things about the employees and environment! read more

Never coming back here again. Service is the lowest of the bare minimum. I came in today for a pedicure. My heels have been unusually dry and peeling this past week. I have pretty soft heels and usually I do not require much effort in that area. Today I came specifically to get rid of the dead and dry skin. The man who did my pedicure gave no more attention or effort than any other time I had come in. I've been coming here for a long time. He gave a light handed quick scrub as usual. It's like they just rush to get you in and out and there is no real sense of care or quality provided. When I pointed out how unsatisfied I was with my pedicure the man who seems to be in charge had the nerve and audacity to say it will take several sessions to clear it. Says he got all the skin off and there's just cracks. I'm appalled. Never have I ever had cracks in my heels! Have you ever seen someone with hard heels, it's like a thick hard layer of skin and the cracks....wheeeew chile anyways...this is not that! In fact, my heels are still soft, there is just dry, peeling skin. It's not often this condition ails me, only usually around this time of year when the weather is cold and dry. I have never had this poor of a job...EVER! I'm going home and I bet I can do myself a much better job...I just didn't want to do it myself, plus I wanted to have my toes repainted (oh and the nerve of the man shaming my color pick also...it's just white...okay and that is the color I choose, so what? Self care shouldn't feel like judgement or a rip off!) and I also was looking forward to what ended up being an unenthusiastic and short lived foot/calf massage. I am completely disgusted with todays service and I will never come back and no I did not leave a tip either. All I needed was a lil elbow and effort and a thorough job done...the paint job is pretty mediocre as well. Big fail! They contently allowed an unsatisfied client walk out the door, offering no means of correction or compensation, nor apology. One customer down. I came in right after a 12 hour work shift. All I wanted was to do something nice for myself and they took that away. I'll post pics in bit when I get home, as I'm still sitting in the parking lot getting this off my chest. P.S. RUDE!! We walked in and I'm asking her a question about her wait time the person start laughing tells me to wash our hands then we couldn't find the towels she starts laughing cause I can't see them she starts making fun of me and my daughter in her language and with her other customers.. I always have google translate on for that reason. My daughter tells me she wants to go and I walked out with my daughter in tears because an adult woman was making fun of her for drying her hands on her clothes. Originally we go to VIP NAILS on Hollywood, once we got there the guy told us they would not be able to see us because he was booked. We drove by Fancy nails and decided to stop by since it was on our way back home. As soon as you walk in your greeted kindly, and the lady let us know there would be a wait if 30 mins but would try to see us as quick as they could, mind they were already seeing about 4-5 ladies. So I did not mind waiting the 30 mins. - The work is very professional very caring, my manicurist was a guy by the name of NHO, and he was very nice. I came with a friend and she did have to wait for over 45 minutes, this lady worker left right after she finished her last client and left her sitting there. That is the reason for the 3 stars. Over all very nice, clean, professional and inexpensive. Definitely happy for what I paid for. read more

aaron did my gel pedi . before we started i told him that i had acrylic and gel on my toes already . he asked if i wanted a refill and i told him no, to just blend the acrylic with my natural nail and file the nail shorter since it had grown out . he said okay and went on with the pedi . fast forward to when he's applying the gel polish, i noticed that you can definitely tell that i had acrylic on my toes and it wasn't blended with my natural nail . i said something to him and he's like "well you said you didn't want a fill " i told him that i asked him to blend the nail and he said he couldn't do it...... my thing is, if i tell you that i don't want a fill and to just blend the nail and you couldn't do it then why wouldnt you say something before we get to the end ? we went back and fourth until i told him to just finish my feet so i could leave . wont be coming back . read more

WARNING NO SKILLS I made a appointment at 3:30 and when I showed up there were a lot a ladies in the pedicure chairs and one lady in a manicure chair and no one was being attended too. The staff was sitting there eating and they were just taking there sweet time like people weren't waiting. I ended up waiting a little over an hour which that right there should of told me to leave but I had to go on vacation so I thought I would just thug it out and hope there nail work was good. WRONG! The lack of skill they had was embarrassing like omg where did they get there license a gumball machine. When the guy was laying down my acrylic it was super lumpy and nasty looking. I asked for a basic painted french tip which he said they could do at the beginning of my appointment but when it was time he told me he couldn't and didn't know how. He didn't know what he was doing and was trying to charge me 80$ for short nasty nails lumpy nails. I was so upset I wanted to cry. When I told him that's not how I wanted them he got upset with me told me he's been going nails way longer then me and chipped my nails half way off and I left. There rude and don't know what there doing. I ended up going to Nevada nail and spa they removed the nasty ones and they did exactly what I wanted for a better price. Fancy nails are trash! I don't know if she's the owner or whatever, but she has no type of customer service. I always let her know what i need as soon as I walk in, to not waste time for anybody. She literally does not answer me & when she does, you hear attitude in her tone. Last time I went, i asked for a lip wax. When the b**** decided to answer, she said "you're going to wait a while". When she could've politely responded with a wait time. But, no. Then, the pedi. The man who did mine, literally shoved the tool he was using into my skin. I got gel nails she was super rude it was my first time with gel and when the machine didn't detect my hand she would get irritated and push my hand and when she was clipping my cuticle and the edges it hurt she did a bad job, she cut too much skin on the edge of my middle finger then she super glued my cut! which took a week to stop throbbing and to heal, I won't come here again. read more

I've been to quite a few different nail salons here in north Las Vegas. I'd like to say I've seen it all, nail salons practicing hood hygiene, good service, everything you could ask for. However I've also experienced such horrible service and unsanitary practices. This place is one of them. I had called a day before my appointment to schedule my appointment @4:30 the following day. I walk in (little earlier than 4:30) and nobody greats me they all see me come in but nobody greats me. I assume because I came earlier so I just sit down and wait and wait and wait. It gets to 4:45 and I get up to go wash my hands I'm like maybe that's what I need to do. As soon as I get up one of the nail technicians asks "what do you need?" And I'm like "I'm your 4:30 appointment" and she laughs and is like "why you no say anything?" I just laugh and continue to go wash my hands. However, in my head I'm like 'dude I entered your nail salon you should greet me?' I sit back down and then another lady comes in ask her what does she need and they attend her first! Like what!? I waited this long I just stayed. 15min later they finally get to me. I had came in for a full and color change. They wanted to charge me $55. I'm like "girl on your pricing list fill begins @ $25?" She looks at me and Is like "fine with gel &35!" I just smile through my mask and say okay. Then she says, "I don't have a UV light available so when I'm done you go." How rude and I'm not a confrontational person so I just say ok. She continues to do my nails and I begin to feel less comfortable so as soon as she's done filling in my nails and shaping them I tell her, "it's okay you don't have put on the nail polish" then she insists that she can, but as soon as she's done I pay her money and I leave. i came here a two weeks ago and got pink and whites just to spoil myself. i didn't like they they called me over and cut my nails then made we wait so they could wax someone else, short staffed maybe? the girl that did my nails did apologize and then took care of me. i only got pink and whites and then a clear polish like always but now the polish is pealing which has never happen to me before.. usually i can wear my nails for a month before they break or chip but the polish is coming off... i might be going back to find out why.. read more

I had a full set put on before Christmas and I had a horrible experience. First, the man shaped my nails stiletto which I did not ask for. Second, he filed my nail so low it was burning and even bled. Third, he was talking to a waiting customer the entire time and never talked to me expect to ask what color and how do you want to pay ??!!!! Omg! Worst nail shop in Vegas. I'm so disappointed! The nail techs are so worried about getting you out of the chair than how well they are doing your nails. My nails look absolutely horrible. They are all different types of lengths, shapes, sizes, lumps and bumps. I'm just very irritated. The paint is cracked and has air bubbles, & my nails have chipped after ONE week. I am very dissatisfied. They also will overcharge you if you don't pay attention to what they are charging you for. They were trying to charge me $28 for a full set with coffin nail shape, when a few weeks before it was only $25. I asked why was it $28. The man said well it's $25 if you get them short. I've never heard of that before. My sister didn't ask, so they charged her $28 for a full set with coffin shape and her nails were really short. Another time they charged $48 for a REG. Full set and a REG pedicure, when full sets are $20 and pedicures are $23, so I'm not sure how that added up to $48. I suggest you not going to this place, they overcharge and your nails will still come out terrible. read more
