We had very courteous staff who blew up all the balloons (there was quite a lot) in under 40 minutes. They never once complained and even offered to order us a cab. We had called ahead but not booked a time, but nonetheless they accommodated us requesting 40 regular balloons and 6 huge balloons-- a job which was to take 45 mins. We fecked off for Starbucks and left them to their work. When we came back the place was full of red and they had organised them into bunches to make it easy to bring back-- which was no mean feat. They even offered to call us a taxi if we needed that, which was excellent service! Everyone in the place that we came across was just lovely, and I'd definitely be inclined to come back for other supplies in the future as a result.

You can tell the higher quality wigs by the packaging and whether it's heat resistant or not. They even had some hats like brown top hats and fezzes. Fezzes are cool. Of course this place is a dream for anyone trying to get a hooly together, you have your balloons and streamers and party poppers and plates and cups and cards and pinatas and anything themed to whatever holiday is closest! best thing about the shop though is its selection of costumes, well there were lots the last time i was in there around Halloween. Now in fairness i am a fan of making my own costume and being all original but if you just don't have time this is the best place to go, you could even dress up as a party!

When my sister got engaged last year I went straight to this place and went a bit mad with balloons for their engagement party. They have EVERYTHING you need and are really accommodating. Not even that, all the stuff is just SO MUCH FUN. I could spend a bloody fortune in here. Even if I had to use the excuse of throwing a party for myself, I'd totally do it just so I could go here.

OK I will grant that most people don't got looking for musketeer hats when its not halloween (or possibly ever, for shame!) and the shop is quite small so they can't really stock that many costumes, but I think small businesses like this could do more for local custom. In fairness the guy in the shop did suggest other places to try, after I said 'well it looks like I'll get it off the internet so, just trying to give my custom to local business', but after I left I thought he really could have offered to order it in for me. I mean they must have costume suppliers who could have these things. I'm not in a hurry, but maybe that's too much hassle. Still though they seemed to have lots of nice balloons and things which I'm sure are great. They're just no help for me trying to sort out my Dogtanian costume!
