Since they changed owners a couple of years ago I thought I'd give this Hell Hole of a pharmacy a…read moresecond chance. I went with my prescription and the clerk asked me for my phone number to access my file. So I start giving my number and she was just looking at me. She wasn't taking the number down. So she asks again and I give her my number a second time. Then she asks me if I have any allergies and I respond "no". Again she's not paying attention so I have to respond a second time. Finally she says "okay, just a minute" and puts my prescription behind her and starts speaking Spanish to her colleagues. Then very rudely with a chip on her shoulder a lil 4'10" beast comes and starts speaking to me in French. I told her that I had already been served and that the other girl has already taken my prescription. She again said something in French which I didn't understand, In which I responded "how rude" because I was speaking English and she was insisting in responding in French. At that point I took my prescription back in order to go to a different pharmacy. As I was walking out, another Spanish speaking dude (out of nowhere) interjected and tried to antagonize me with low IQ remarks. It's as if he had the mind of an 11 year old trying to pick on another child. They all got a "go F yourselves" and saw my backside for the last time. It has to probably be the most unprofessional business around, with a staff ready to pounce. I can only imagine the owner or GM must be quite the basket case to have that kind of staff. To Jean Coutu corporate, Anglophones represent over 15% of the Montreal area population, that's a large amount of people to constantly berate and "P"-off. Makes no business sense. Reminder, the official language in Canada is English and French, this pharmacy only recognizes French and Spanish it seems. I was discriminated against because I spoke English (your staff made sure to make it clear) and if you speak English like a lot of the aging community that buys medicine, I suggest you give your money to businesses that respect you. JC made it it clear they hated me today. They ALL don't speak English until it comes time to tell you off, then the English rolls off their tongues. It's amusing to watch them create these kind of situations.
