I ordered the highly rated pickled sour sea bass fish fresh from the ocean and it was a full heavy portion...the owner said it was 0.6kg... good deal. And I got the conch salad which was really crunchy and yummy. cut nicely. Some people think it's weird to eat Chinese food on vacation in a foreign country but being Chinese it is my comfort food and combining fresh ocean fish with the classic flavors is definitely a hit ! They also offer soft drinks and alcohol options . I got a black lime tea and my hubby got.l a corona haha

My husband and I came here since we wanted a reprieve from Mexican food and was pretty disappointed in our meal here. We got the Cumin Beef and Seafood and Beef Hot Pot. Cumin Beef - This was not bad, there was just not a lot of beef. One of the servers told us each dish was meant for 2-3 people, and it's not even meant for one. The flavor was pretty good, but it was pretty salty. Crazy that it didn't come with rice for the cost. Seafood and Beef Hot Pot - Literally had no flavor to the broth and barely any seafood or meat. It tasted like all the ingredients were just boiled in water. There were probably 3 shrimps, 4 small pieces of beef, and 3 oysters. Overall, they overcharged us for a meh meal. Don't come here.

I thought it was kind of a pleasant surprise and bizarre to find a Chinese restaurant around! I'm giving this place five stars for various reasons. 1. The staff- super friendly and welcoming. The two men helping us made our experience super pleasant. They asked if everything was okay at the right moments and were there to refill our waters before even thinking about refilling them ourselves (we got bottled water). Food came out right on time and even were nice enough to give us the WiFi password ;) 2. Ambience- Hey I've been to plenty of "fine dining" Chinese restaurants back home in SF but not many were as fancy and clean as this one was. The silverware and plates were even fancy. (Wish I took pics of them) 3. Food- At first I wasn't expecting much for quality or authenticity because it's such a touristy area. It looked like it was ran by Chinese owners though, I saw one of them there. I got to eat their fried rice, soy sauce noodles w/ beef and fried chicken with chili. Everything was better than expected and yummy. Me and my bf were super happy we came here for lunch. Definitely don't regret coming here.

Very popular with cruise workers exploring as a free day, Chi (assuming short for 'Chinese')…read morerestaurant is very close to the downtown port in Cozumel, Mexico. In my experience, whenever a restaurant tries to promote dishes across multiple Asian cuisines, the results are not good. However, in this case, both my brother and I were impressed with the restaurant: in the dining space, service, and especially the food. Chi is located less than four blocks from Punta Langosta cruise port, on the second floor of a busy retail building. On one hand, the second floor is not ideal to attract prospective passerbys, with a ground level entrance hidden away around the corner of the main street. Plus I didn't see an elevator, so accessibility is an issue. On the other hand, being on the second floor allows a less frenetic dining experience away from the bustle of the street, as well as great al fresco dining on the open air balcony dining area with a great view of the city. We wanted A/C so chose a table inside, next to big windows. The menu is huge, with the largest devoted to classic American-Chinese dishes. There is also a page for Filipino dishes and one for Indonesian...definitely catering to folks from the nearby cruise boats. They do offer fresh fish as well, chosen as you enter, and they will cook it for you for minimal charge. I wanted to try their Chinese stir-fried conch dish ($21.79), and it came out first. It came with a thin white sauce, which isn't usually my favorite, but it was perfect in this case, with the fresh ginger and scallions adding a light flavor to the dish. The Nasi Goreng House Shrimp Fried Rice ($14.19 from the Indonesian Menu) came out a bit later, and was really well made. We had asked for it at 'No spice' level, and this resulted in it tasting just like a shrimp fried rice from a good Chinese restaurant. These two dishes really highlighted the wok-skills of the chef, and would be something I would get again. Next was the Adobong Pusit ($17.04 from the Filipino menu): baby squid in the typical adobo sauce that I enjoy. Appreciated the fact that the baby squid had been cleaned before cooking, and the removed tenacles were part of the dish. The sauce was really strong (no subtlety here). The final one was one recommended by the waitress, classic shrimp pancit ($14.19 from the Filipino menu), using thin rice noodles. This wasn't very good: decent pieces of jumbo shrimp, but the fish sauce overpowered everything else...OK for a meat dish, but not so much for a noodle dish that tends to absorb everything. The dishes did come out as they were prepared, which meant they were served hot, but came out pretty staggered. None of the dishes include white rice. The restaurant had no issues if you bring your own bottled water. There is a $1.50 service charge for each diner, and I believe additional tip is expected. They do a good job of making sure the USD to Mexican pesos conversion is fair, and give the choice of local currency or USD. They do provide free WiFi for their customers, and it was fast and reliable, definitely better than the spotty cell service we were getting inside. Ended up spending a bit more time here than anticipated, which good food and a pleasant dining experience tends to do.

The variety of international cuisine is impressive, but I come here specifically for the Filipino comfort food. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the flavors are exactly what you need after a week of ship meals. I tried the Sisig and tofu with spinach, and it absolutely hit the spot. The Sinigang was equally fantastic--sour, savory, and comforting in every bite. The friendly staff and relaxed vibe make it even better. It's no surprise you'll see cruise ship staff dining here--they know where the good food is! Definitely worth a stop before or after your cruise.

We were seated right away, our kind server took our order. We didn't wait long at all. We settled for the Filipino dishes of pinakbet, lumpia Shanghai and steamed rice. The pinakbet which included shrimp and pork was delicious! Even though it wasn't authentic enough, no bitter melon, patis/fish sauce or sitaw/long green beans, it satisfied our palates. The lumpia Shanghai/deep fried egg roll was hot and crispy, not overly salty, and a good size roll. Initially we asked for two orders of rice, but our server said one order is enough. When the rice was brought out, I'm glad we ordered just one order. It was enough to feed four people! The ambiance of the interior is very simple, like cafeteria style. Employees are very nice. There's seating outside for about 10-15 people. This is a definite "yes!" in my book to return and dine here next time we dock in Cozumel, and we can't wait!
