Over the past few years, we have had several issues with cats we have had, and the care we have…read morereceived in each instance has been top notch. The vets have checked in with us regularly to ensure our diabetic cat is still doing well, and were very helpful in explaining Feline Leukemia when another cat of ours was found to have it. In the times when we've had to make the very painful decisions, the vets, vet techs and front desk staff have been so wonderful. We have always received honest opinions, and had our own wishes respected, without judgment. I have occasion to deal with the front desk staff every few weeks because of medication requirements, and not once have I ever encountered a bad attitude. I can't say enough about the care my cats have received while in the care of this fantastic facility.

My dog is a dear aggressive bulldog and has a hard time letting someone in her personal space…read morestraight away. With her pushed in face she can get out of a muzzle easily, so she needs to feel comfortable in her surroundings or needs to be restrained by me. Her previous vet wouldn't have her in their practice without a muzzle, I didn't like their attitude, so decided to speak to Niagara Falls animal medical clinic and expressed my concerns, to which they were very accommodating and have worked very well with her by scheduling other appointments without other animals around the office when she gets in. They are patient with her and thorough. She hasn't eaten them which is even better. dr Mergl has been fabulous as has dr. Tatzel.

I have used Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital in the past and find them to be VERY pushy,…read moreaggressive and constantly trying to upsell, very high pressure. Every time I leave there, I feel my pet is not in their best interest, but the almighty dollar is.

Today, everything changed. Since my last update on March 7 -- Yogi Bear did it…read more No fight. No panic. Just one quiet growl -- a warning, not a war. We walked into the vet's office at 10:57 AM. By 11:05, it was over. Eight minutes. That's all it took. Introductions. A short wait. Shaving his leg. Drawing blood. Holding pressure. Done. And not a drop of sedation. For the first time in seven years, Yogi wasn't drugged, restrained, or forced to shove his head through a hole in a wall just to get care. Seven years. That's how long it took for someone to finally see him for who he is -- not just a "reactive dog," but a soul worth the time, the patience, and the respect. If you pour your heart into your dog and your vet doesn't match that commitment -- leave. For four years, I stayed with a vet who left me gutted and ashamed after every visit, and Yogi traumatized. I begged for help, tried to make it work. And every "no" from another clinic after that made it feel hopeless. Then I took a gamble -- a vet two hours away. That one decision changed everything. I hope no one else has to fight this long just to find someone who cares enough to try. And I hope every visit from here on brings me to tears -- not from fear, but from finally witnessing what Yogi always deserved. This is what happens when love meets the right hands.

DON'T USE THIS VET THEY ARE SO CRUEL TO THE AMIMALS THEY TREAT…read more I took my cat in to get neutered in November. they managed to get 1 testicle the other had not desended so we waited another month, and it was still not there. So they said wait another month, we went and they decided to operate to get it out well they couldn't find it, so they said give it a couple weeks they said they would do an ultrasound to I called them to do the ultrasound they said they would try to find it without the ultrasound so they operated a second time and again couldn't find it. so a few weeks later they finally did the ultrasound and again operated a third time . It took 7 months to just get my cat neutered. THIS IS SO CRUEL We adopted Bobby and this is the vet the adoption agency uses? we had no choice but to get him neutered there.

I had just ordered cat food on here a few times, then brought kitty to be neutered. Was told I…read moreneeded to bring him in for "preliminary" look before booking neuter appointment. Vet took 2 mins w my cat and weighed him. Had to wait 30 mins for front desk person to make my appointment, then was told it was going to be $70.... to weigh my cat. On top of neutering fee. Was not told this before exam. I told her I wouldn't pay 70 bucks for the weighing of my cat, I understand a "prelim consult" can have a small fee, but nothing was done and no time was taken. And most importantly I wasnt told before hand. Waiting for an email from them to see if theyll waive the fee. But regardless, a bad taste in my mouth left from a doctor who did NOT give the aura of someone who loves animals.
