Hands-down, one of my favorite parks in North America! Located in downtown Greenville and it butts up against a few other parks that you can walk through that lead to the zoo. Perfect for a Saturday picnic and walk. The falls are beautiful. The park is very tidy and well kept. Multiple paths around the park with bikers joggers skateboarders but I never felt like I was about to get run down. Bring the dogs!
Gorgeous area with a lot of great trails nearby. I had the opportunity to spend my Easter Sunday here and it was spectacular. It was pretty crowded as it was a nice, hot, sunny day. There was live music playing in the area and Falls park is just a beautiful place in Greenville! They also have a really nice suspension bridge in the falls as well. I think it's safe to say that the falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota has some competition!
Absolutely beautiful spot! The peaceful sound of the cascading water, the vibrant greenery, and that unique green bridge make this area feel like a hidden urban oasis. The red brick buildings give it great character and charm--perfect for a relaxing stroll or just sitting and enjoying the view. It's clean, well-kept, and surprisingly serene for being in the heart of town. A must-visit if you're nearby--photogenic and peaceful!
This park has plenty of parking and was pretty well maintained. There are walking paths to go down to the water and a open park area. I didn't see a bathroom, that would have been a bonus. But overall was a very clean place.
Located in the heart of Downtown Greenville, this spacious, all walkable park has a river that runs through it. It has lovely water falls that you can either walk over ( on a pedestrian bridge), sit along side or walk around. My favorite is Larkin's and Passerelle Bistro, which is located directly along side the bridge facing town). However, there are countless other resteraunts within walking distance. The whole downtown area is a wonderful mix of historic and modern charm. This area alone makes Greenville, SC worth visiting.

I loved this park! It is located in the heart of Greenville near hotels and cute coffee shops. The waterfall is beautiful! It amazing how it feels like nature oasis in the middle of the city. I specially enjoyed some areas were that felt like a rain forest or garden. I spent time sitting and reflecting. I found it peaceful and easy to walk. I can't wait to go back. I enjoyed my early morning walk there.
I came here on a Tuesday and it was a great place to visit when in DT Greenville. It was a great place to walk around and watch the sunset. There's plenty of spots to sit around and hang out. As far for parking it's mostly street parking around the area.
Great outdoor space!! One of the better river walks- very clean, well maintained, visible waterfalls. Plenty of dining and coffee shops along the walk. Plenty of entry/exit points. Ramped options too! Parking not bad on a weekday- lots of free 2 hr street parking. I enjoyed grabbing a coffee and walking along with my kids. Also some grassy areas and bag stations for pet relief.
The bridge crossing the river is impressive, the falls are nice to look at, the river is nice to walk along, and the shops around the area provide respite if it's hot or rainy out. The park was very well maintained when we went - gorgeous flowers were planted everywhere, and it's definitely worth visiting if you're in Greenville. Of course, you can't have everything, but it would have been nice to have a playground or play area for smaller children, because my kids got bored pretty quickly after we crossed the bridge and walked on some of the paths.
Probably the most impressive and breathtaking park I've ever seen inside a town! It's great to stroll around, read inspiration quotes, exercise, take photos, and just enjoy life. I wish we had a nice park like this in my hometown.

The waterfall in the heart of Greenville is spectacular. The landscape all along the lath is amazingly designed, kept and maintained. This used to be an industrial area with many mills pulling power from the river. A garden club revived the area and made it a phenomenal place!
Spectacular! If you visit Greenville, SC, make time for a stroll through Falls Park. The falls are lovely, as are the grounds, with flowers, benches, and lush greenery. The park was a project of the area Garden Club, and you can definitely tell they put a lot of effort into making it a place that embraces nature. Walk across the suspension bridge to look down on the falls, and then walk along the river path to get close to the water. If you like to bike, the path is large enough for bikes too.
A beautiful park with Reedy River waterfalls, right in downtown Greenville South Carolina. There is alot of walking areas:quiet green natural areas to sit and relax. Plenty of photographic areas for memories. There is many eating places near by if you want to grab lunch or dinner. Overall a very tranquil vibe in the center city. read more
Spending time along the Reedy River in Greenville is such a special experience. There are several beautiful spots to sit and relax, especially near the Grand Bohemian Lodge Greenville, and the bridge is a wonderful place to stroll while enjoying the soothing sound of the river and waterfall. What makes it even more meaningful is the history behind it. Beginning in the late 1700s, water-powered industries clustered along the Reedy River, including trading posts, grist and corn mills, a sawmill, an ironworks, the Gower, Cox and Markley Coach Factory, a paper-making factory, and an armory. A century later, textile and apparel mills were established along its banks. Unfortunately, the mills discharged waste and excess dyes into the river, and the Reedy began to suffer from the spoils of progress. By the mid-20th century, downtown Greenville's stretch of the river was so severely polluted by upstream textile mills that the once pristine and popular falls became desolate and unsafe. Seeing how beautiful and vibrant the area is today makes you truly appreciate the restoration and revitalization efforts. It's peaceful, scenic, and rich with history -- definitely a must-visit when you're in Greenville. Cheers! read more

Falls Park is in Greenville's West End. The 32 acre park in a downtown is unique draw. It is a great place to explore nature and enjoy the amazing views of the waterfall. The park is free to visit and I was told it even has free parking but I walked so didn't need parking. A picnic area is in the park and there are many restaurants nearby and at least one in the park itself. The park is nineteen years old and designed with accessibility in mind from the ramps to the elevator to accessible trails. Greenville did a great job at revitalizing the area but do remember that the water is contaminated with bacteria from the mills that were here and sustained Greenville's economy so they do not want you to go in the water. Make sure to make a stop at Falls Park when in Greenville, SC. read more

Beautifully maintained park in the middle of Downtown Greenville. Shops and restaurants all around. It's a nice bit of nature, aptly named Falls Park on the Reedy River. We walked down into the park and back up again. There are a few different paths you can take. Each will give you a unique and wonderful view of the park and botanical gardens. A small amphitheater had some live entertainment and family activities when we were there. read more

Millions of dollars have poured into the renovation of the Reedy River Falls area in the southern section of downtown. And it's beautiful. Clean, modern, avant garde design merges cascading water, pedestrian bridges, and well-kept, colorful gardens into a kaleidoscope enveloped by hotels, bistros, art studios, and lofts. Mix in a Carolina blue sky and high-70 degree weather and the day becomes magical. Nice. Within reach are hundreds of parking spaces, some free, along with a clean and safe downtown. Looking for a weekend getaway or just an afternoon of leisure and wine? Has the needle pegged at "must-do" on my "Give 'em a whirl" meter. Unwind here. read more
Great park in downtown Greenville. There are a lot of trails, and you can walk to the zoo from the trails. There are plenty of signs telling you to stay off the rocks, but too many people disregard that message. Walk the trails first, then walk across the suspension bridge for dinner at a cute restaurant tucked in right at the end of the bridge. There are plenty of benches and swings to rest on. If you are in Greenville, this is a must-see. read more
Now THIS is some brilliant urban planning. It is the perfect little escape downtown Greenville with lots of flor & fauna, and many shady spots to sneak away and sit on a bench to read a book. The falls are just beautiful. I love the stunning environment and I seriously could have just chilled here for hours, not a care in the world. This calming environment erases all your worries for a bit and provides complete calm. read more

Stunning park in the middle of downtown Greenville. Waterfalls, creeks, geese, ducks, birds, trails, benches and swings. It was a great way to spend a Sunday morning, strolling the trail and taking in all the sights and buildings. The swings are set in little tranquil spots where you can take your coffee or book, and go sit and enjoy the outdoors and the sounds of the waterfalls. There's the great hugging tree, great picture spot, you can't miss it! Huge hotel being built in the middle right now too, new Grand Bohemian hotel. You can also then hop into one of the nice waterfront restaurants for food or drinks. So unusual to find something like this in any city downtown. Just love walking around . Lots of dog walking going on too in the morning. One the best draws to Greenville and I can see why. Perfect location too. read more
I just want to see the river, I am repeating to my family as we're dropped off downtown. My husband and son pull up their phones and direct us towards water. I really think they were like "okay, whatever" until we got to Falls Park. My husband started taking photos and exploring the area, remarking how cool it was. No sh@t is what I wanted to say but I was just glad they could appreciate it. It had been years since I've been downtown, before all the renovations occurred, and I wanted to see what had been done to the area. We walked for a little bit, admiring the river, the design and layout of pocket parks, wedding venues, and just the exceptional job the city had done to make such a cool open space/destination. It's amazing, and with the Swamp Fox trail you can run or bike for miles. read more

Please tell me where else can you find an impressive waterfall right in the middle of a burgeoning downtown??? Seriously, I want to know because if there is another one like this one, I want to go there ASAP. Now around said waterfalls with an more sauce park and bridge and the whole scene. I never though about going to Greenville until we needed a place to stop during one of our road trips. We liked it so much that we decided to visit again and spend about ten days. And you know what, I'm pretty sure we will be going back again soon. It's an awesome town read more
We visited here about 3 years ago in order to view the solar eclipse. We were back for a weekend visit to Greenville, and we walked through here several times. If you see a timeline of how this area was connected with the city over time, it is especially impressive what they've done with it in the last 20 years. It is hard to believe that it was almost covered up with vegetation, pollution, and a traffic bridge through most of the 1990s. Thankfully, someone had the foresight to re-focus and anchor the downtown on this revitalized area. There are so many restaurants and shops to enjoy (there were probably more pre-COVID). The fact that the Swamp Rabbit Trail terminates here and allows walking / running / biking for miles to the north is an added attraction. Any downtown would be lucky to have any sort of feature remotely similar to this. It really sets Greenville apart, IMO. read more

I fell in love with this place. It is modern, authentic, quiet, you can feel an incomparable peace and harmony. Everything is super clean. You have different bars and restaurants that you can explore around you. Lots of places to hang out and swing, watch the falls or people walk. I have no words to describe this place. I think the photos say a thousand words. This is the kind of place where you don't want to talk but just observe how beautiful nature is. Let the photos speak for themselves! read more

Falls Park is a pretty park in the West End of Greenville. It's very nice with a waterfall and Liberty Bridge, some trails, and restaurants and shopping close by. The park is open every day from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. It's free admission. You can hike the Swamp Rabbit Trail. read more

Is there an off leash area at this park?
Unfortunately no. It's a very small grassy area where there is grass, but it's mostly walking paths and trails with do have leash requirements. Hope that helps!
