Very good day care. I love the fact that they follow Christian base songs and scriptures. Looking into sending family here!! Check them out

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE SCORE I WOULD!!! The 7106 Forestville, Knightdale, NC 27545,…read morelocation (Kid's Educational Center IV), is HORRIBLE. I described my child's allergies and said I would provide my child's snacks and lunch. The co-director Courtney Gillespie had no issue with me doing this. I enroll my child take my baby on the first day. They do NOT allow outside food and will not feed your child anything if he/she can't eat what has been prepared. I asked if they gave my child snacks from the lunchbox and the teacher said no, only water. The school does NOT apply sunblock on children. The owner does NOT allow outside food, including prepared foods from your home, or sunblock to protect your child from harmful rays of the sun. The owner's name is Dare Woodruff. These people are disgusting and need to be closed down.

The Kids Educational Center located at 7106 Forestville, Knightdale, NC 27545, is the WORSE…read moredaycare I have ever been to. The Owner Courtney is very discriminated and very unprofessional. She will make up an excuse to disenroll your kids if she doesnt like them. During the 2nd week my child came home with a bloody ear & no one left any incident report or told me about it, I had to find out after I put my son in the car and noticed his ear was bloody. They are always over ratio, they let the toddlers come in the room with the baby infants, causing them to get hurt because the toddlers walk and hit the babies.. Their food menu is HORRIBLE, they barely feed the kids and they have the same food choices EVERY week. 1 of the teachers, and older black lady yelled and pulled at the kids to make them listen, she had the WORST attitude and was not truly there for the love of the kids ,she just wanted a paycheck. PLEASE do NOT make the mistake of enrolling your child here.

We started the second week of April and agreed to $1024 a month for my 2 yr old. One month later…read morethey increased to $1124. During this month the center closed the 2 yr old room due to staffing twice. To rewind. We wanted to start the first week of April but we had to get pushed a week due to staffing. During this month that we were there staff was quitting. One teacher in my sons room stated she was leaving because they didn't know what they were doing. My son was put on. An antibiotic for a deep sinus infection and it hurt his stomach. Jennifer the director said due to infection control he had to be out for 48hrs. I asked if we could provide a note from the doctor stating that this was from his antibiotic as it's the side affect and she said no he had to be out. When I questioned about the credit for the days the 2 yr old room was closed due to staffing and for them forcing us to keep him out 48 hours Jennifer got mad. Then when I brought up the price increase when we have only been there one month she told me "we aren't going to see eye to eye so today is going to be your child's last day". She then proceeded to say, after I asked her why when I'm asking for stability and credits that she said we would receive "I'm making the call that today is his last day". I definitely would not recommend this place at all! The teachers were not actively potty training and the children were served pop tarts one morning for breakfast. When I questioned that, I was met with attitude as well. Jennifer stated that she was running a business and decided to do the increase because they were priced lower than all other centers. 100% a lie. Only one center in knightdale is currently priced higher than them at 1300 a month and the others are lower. Being a single mother of two and a federal law enforcement officer I don't work a position we're at 7am when dropping my child off I can call and tell my job I can't come in because daycare doesn't have staffing. Also, as a 100% self paying with no assistance parent you would think Jennifer the director would have common sense to say this family hasn't been here over a month and they agreed to $1024 it's not right to increase their fees when I'm increasing fees because my staff keeps quitting. Poor communication and attitude is what you will get from this center. It looks nice and pretty but that's where it ends and is where your money goes. It's not about the kids or the parents. If you're looking for stability and family friendly this isn't the place. Oh not to mention another family left for some of the same reasons. Jennifer video called with them and when Jessica asked her if she wanted to video with me Jennifer's statement was "not she just needs to get her things and leave the property". Good luck with this place.

I gave it two stars because we loved most of our teachers when we were there and had decent…read moreexperiences with them. Turnover was way too high, my 12-month-old went through 4 teachers in 6 months at a time when transition is hard for a kid. Communication was poor. The owners were never around when we were there and I believe they did not treat their employees well. That is why the good teachers left. They were poorly trained and not equipped to handle all situations. I think this may have been fixed by now, but the younger kids playground was dangerous. There was a huge slope heading toward a fence and I saw kids go down it on their push cars (?) all of the time. Teachers would tell them not to, but 12-18 month old kids are still learning communication and clearly still did it. One kid ended up with stitches because of it and still the hill remained for at least the 6 months after that when I was there. We were told multiple times it would be fixed and it never was. We didn't know there was better because this was our first daycare, but when we switched we realized how different things could be. Our child is so much happier. Our newest baby has never had a diaper rash at the new place; when we were at WWLC our baby had it all the time. We rarely received sheets at the end of the day communicating about the day. When their star rating came up everything magically transformed into a whole new place. We have friends who had some even sketchier things happen. It is never a good sign when you transfer to a new daycare and find 10 other kids who all transferred from this place. Make sure you do as much google research as you can before making your choice!

This is the third time he has been bit by the SAME, KNOWN, biter. He has bitten multiple children, on multiple occasions, over a lengthy period of time. His own teachers call him "the piranha". But yet, because I was upset, and thought they weren't doing enough to protect the children from him, was told "it's not a good fit". We've been there for over a year, and I would challenge them to produce one teacher in that facility that doesn't enjoy my son. But I have heard all kinds of negative comments about the other one. And because he has a difficult home situation, he gets a pass. I'm so heartbroken that my son is being punished. I have even swallowed every bit of pride and practically begged to stay. But "it's not a good fit" because I'm the squeaky wheel. RE: Jamie L's review There is not anything else to the story. The reason I wanted to stay was because I have an anxiety problem and don't deal well with change. The thought of having to introduce my son to new teachers the week before I had to go out of town for work was overwhelming to me, and I had a moment of weakness thinking that staying at Lionsgate would have been the better choice. I am SOOO glad that I didn't get the opportunity to follow through with that. My son has thrived in his new school, and has not been bitten even one time. We are incredibly happy where we are at, and still maintain a relationship with some of the teachers from Lionsgate so that my son can still have them in his life. I NEVER had a problem with the teachers; my problem was always and only with the lack of action by Heidi McCaskey and Glenda McCombs.

Where to begin with the review??…read more I had the pleasure of bringing my two kids here at an early age. After meeting the assistant director (now director, Heidi McCaskey) I knew I was in the right place. Not only was she super friendly, the teachers seemed great during my walk through! I pulled my kids out of another daycare for issues that they couldn't handle and put them here at lionsgate! Best decision of mine and my kids life. I have never had any issues with the staff and have been there for 5 years. As for the last review, why would you beg to come back if you hate this place?? Seems a little silly you hate the place and yet beg to stay, Just my opinion!! There is obviously more to this situation that is untold. I think it is unfortunate that Heidi is made out to be this terrible person when she has been nothing but awesome to our family. Maybe she cares more about the children and tries to find solutions rather than just kicking them out.
