Enjoyed Air Force vs. Hawaii game in Sep 2025 ! Highly recommend attending a game if you are in Colorado Springs during football season. Delicious food! I had the bomber nachos. Better than most stadium concessions. They also had a lot of other food booth options like Crumbl, bbq, specialty coffee, and snow cones. Easy check in. Very efficient staff. 4+ A very nice, what seems to be like a classic style, college stadium with clean facilities, and a great view of mountains in the background. I've only been to one football game here, and I didn't have to deal with any of the traffic issues. More on that later. It should be noted that my experience was pretty unique, and may not reflect the experience most would have here for a football game. So the person I was with at the time was really good friends with a person who was married to on someone who worked for the football team. So we got there early and left really late after the game. Hence, we were able to avoid any traffic problems. I believe parking was free too. We were also given free admission and were able to sit up in the press box. It was a great view of the stadium, and I do believe they served alcohol up in the 'Blue & Silver' club. At some point during the game, I left the press box because I wanted a closer look at the game (at sporting events, I usually prefer being closer to the action vs. sitting up in cushy suites, etc.). It seems like you have a pretty good view anywhere you sit in the stadium. Plus, you can't complain about that fresh Colorado Springs air. Cool, old-school style stadium with a fantastic view of the mountains. They still don't serve alcohol during football games but during concerts they serve beer for about $7 a pop. Free parking during football games is always a plus. If you're coming for any non-football event, expect to pay up to $20 for parking. Worst experience I have ever had attending a sporting event. Stadium Series 2020 was an absolute debacle at this venue. Parking a mess, totally disorganized, terrible traffic flow. Once inside, there were no markings for seating areas and no ushers. I saw several handicapped people suffering due to the unsafe mess at Falcon Stadium and it broke my heart. Sightlines for game were also terrible. I paid 150 for a seat and I could not even see the puck due to being too low. I am not surprised someone died getting out of this event. Interesting setup. Smoke from the food tents wafts across the field and totally in the view of spectators for the entire game due to lack of any surrounding walls. Stadium is set up in a giant oval and is completely open with no covered areas whatsoever. This makes for pretty good views from every seat, however. Felt very temporary as there were no dedicated vendors or even lavatories. Lots of port-o-potties to choose from, though. I loved the flyover and the parachute guys that landed on the field before the game. The military tradition and pride was a site to see. But I was still thrilled when the Utes won :) read more

Parking is $20! Getting out of the parking lot after a concert sucks as it takes forever and they send you out the south gate. If you, can park near the entrance to the dirt/pavement road. Plan to tailgate or leave early to beat traffic. They do not take Discover Card at the beer booths. Acoustics suck. read more

I really love this stadium. First off, free parking during a football game. It is a great place for a tailgate. I love the mountain view. The stadium doesn't really have a bad seat. There are lots of vendors around the stadium as well. I have been to a game a few times here, and it takes a bit of a drive to get to the stadium from the Academy entrance, but it is easy access in and out. Just a fun time here. read more

For a small school, Falcon Stadium still gives you the feeling of big-time college football. In fact, it's the largest stadium in the MWC after SDSU (who plays in an NFL stadium). There's free parking, a ton of tailgating, and great mountain scenery. In addition, there's always some entertainment before the game (cadets marching on the field, the mascot parachuting in with the game ball, flyovers from various AF aircraft). Falcon stadium is a beautiful spot nested into one of the hills on the Air Force Academy base. The video screen has been newly renovated. There are plenty of seats (although for Army/Navy games you should buy tickets early). Great parking area for tailgating, really enjoy the atmosphere. The pregame activities are awesome, and it's fun supporting the cadets who work so hard to become future officers in our Air Force. The Falcon Club is amazing as well, and if you get a chance it's definitely worth it to try and watch a game from there. Enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather there! read more
