Complete the online FAA MedXPress form and bring the confirmation code/email with you and that's all you need in order to get your medical. Very convenient location and the waiting area never seems cramped. The lighting in the lobby has this soothing glow while sitting waiting for your appointment. There are magazines and newspaper scattered around the area. I never felt the need to twiddle my thumbs as I found things to do there. Parking can be a hassle with the narrow lanes of pathways. Be cautious going in and out of the parking lot because it is literally right next to the main road.

He drove 50 miles to this appointment because it was the earliest available via Health Partners scheduling systems to address his symptoms and to learn more. He explained a strong family history of coronary heart disease at young ages, and specifically how his symptoms exactly mirrored those of his identical twin brother (me) who had a coronary heart stent placed in a 99% blockage 2 years prior before he turned 40. Ultimately, my brother expressed to family following the visit that NP Muraca did not listen to his concerns when expressing that he felt he was headed towards a cardiac episode in the very near future and needing to learn more to avoid a catastrophic outcome. Her concerns apparently focused on addressing mildly elevated blood pressure and my brother felt he was dismissed. Her recommendations were along the lines of the proverbial "take two of these and call me in the morning." She prescribed 2 medications and was ready to send him on his way. My brother requested a stress test be ordered to help better understand why he was experiencing chest pain during exercise and his inability to elevate his heart rate. NP Muraca ultimately agreed to order the stress test for the following week as apparently that was the soonest appointment available. Thankfully my brother pushed and advocated for himself expressing that a week's delay "was too scary" and if he couldn't be seen sooner he would be seek alternatives elsewhere. Thankfully NP Muraca actually listened to this portion of the visit and an appointment was located for 2 days later in St. Paul. This is arguably one of the few outcomes of the appointment that went well. My brother departed and NP Muraca wished him luck and that he "found his answers." Well....we found some answers and my brother received intervention treatment with placement of cardiac stenting to open a 99% blockage in one of his coronary arteries. In our medical system today it feels we are having more and more difficulty in being heard by medical professionals who will only make decisions on empirical evidence that they only spend 5 minutes seeking and/or evaluating. In my brother's situation, he did not feel heard or understood. He did not feel he found empathy from a care professional that was joining his team to find the best available outcome....he felt dismissed. He felt as though he was headed towards an iceberg and nobody was remotely interested in helping him keep lookout. Based on our family's experience, I would not recommend treatment with NP Muraca at this facility.

This visit didn't disappoint! The receptionist began asking the SAME QUESTIONS THAT I JUST FILLED OUT ON THE E-CHECK IN (and failed to greet us btw). I interrupted her & said that I had already answered all of these questions and that we were good or we wouldn't have come to the clinic to begin with. She asked when I did the check in??? I said when I received the email to complete the check in! She huffed at me & said she was "just doing her job". She then proceeded to throw our labels on the counter at us. Why does Allina ask you to take YOUR time to complete the check in if they are going to be repetitive and ask you all over again? This clinic is horribly managed. We will not come back again. Updated: Based on the "owner's comment" I took the time to reach out to the clinic manager today. It took almost 15 minutes to reach the correct person, only to be told that they weren't available because they were in a meeting. I left a message & didn't hear back from anyone. Not surprising.

Came to urgent care with URI symptoms and was found to have a blood pressure in the crisis range. A…read morePA saw me, took one look, and said I had a cold and she wasn't going to do any tests nor be concerned about the blood pressure since "it's just because you have a cold". I payed a $30 copay to just be glanced at and told I was fine. No blood cultures, no flu or COVID test, no listening to my lungs or heart - nothing. WebMD would have been more helpful then this.

I was worried about how long it would take me to get in to the specialist, which would be 6-8 months. I dealt with Dr. Michael Blackburn, whom I called a pompous ass on the way out. He straight up walked out of the appointment. I will admit that my theory about my condition is somewhat rare, but Dr. Blackburn was not only dismissive, but extremely condescending when he told me multiple times, "I've been doing this a long time, you don't have that condition." I have never in my life had an argument during a dr's appointment, but that's what happened. I asked how he could know for sure that I didn't have this condition, and I asked for two separate tests, both of which he refused. He then said he would prescribe a particular medication that would, in fact, exacerbate the condition that I think I have. I said no, I didn't want that medication, and he got up and left the room. I left in tears. I'm also annoyed that when I called the clinic after to complain, I was not directed to a manager, but the online website where I was never able to find a place to voice my concerns. I would not recommend this clinic if you want someone to help you. I read the other reviews and they are all horrible, with countless testimonies of the lack of empathy and customer service at this location. I am far from crazy, but that's how Dr. Blackburn made me feel.

I had scheduled an appointment to be seen for illness but the online scheduling didn't account for the illness check and vaccines. The provider couldn't find my record because she had my first name in the last name field and my last name in the first name field and that my records are restricted. Overall, didn't get relief and still feeling miserable. At least it's time out that I don't have the flu, strep or COVID. So back to the drawing board which I know that I have sinus infection but she didn't check my glands to see if they are swollen or my nose for mucus.

I went in for a simple strep throat test and they billed my insurance company $807 , my portion of that bill is $365, for a strep throat test. Absolute medical crooks and unethical billing to bill $807 for a strep test that costs about $50. Awful place and awful customer service. Go to a reputable health care provider that has medical ethics, not cvs who will gouge you for every cent.
