I am so lucky to have come into contact with Fairview Christian. We interviewed over 15 daycare centers before our first son was born. It was an exhausting process and were relieved when a friend recommended Fairview Christian. At every age and stage there is a curriculum for your child. We loved the school setting as well as having all kids in each class be around the same age. Many of my friends struggled with their daycare because of how they "lumped" all ages together. At Fairview my son was learning right along with kids his own age. They do a phenomenal job of transitions- for example two naps to one naps, and bottles to sippy cups. One of the things I look forward to every week is receiving the "eagle news" by email. Not only does it have social events happening at the school it highlights some of the facility and students. In addition it gives me the schedule of events for "spirit days" such as Seahawks day and International day plus school closures. I never miss anything because wonderful weekly newsletter. We are full time working parents and having the daycare center be part of a school there are no funky holidays that they are closed for. The hardest thing is leaving your kids to head off to work, and at Fairview they have loved my son as much as me. I will never forget a certain time when my son came down with something. The immediately called me to let me know. I was in a meeting and couldn't get out for an hour. It broke my heart. About an hour and half later I rushed through the doors of Fairview to get my son. As I entered the office - my son was there sleeping on the couch next to Ms. Lori as she rubbed his back and head. That is why we chose Fairview. The love and care they provide is above par. Our first born is only two and he continues to surprise us with what he knows. He can count to ten, recite the alphabet and tell us all about his body parts. It's amazing how much he has learned and thrived in that environment. Recently our second son started in the infant room. It's not any easier dropping off your second - but it was so reassuring to know he was going to be well taken care of by Ms. Melinda and Ms. Kristy. I still called several times that first week and each time they updated me on his day without feeling put out or overwhelmed. When we were looking at daycares it was really important to find one that was an extension of us as parents, as well as offering a great community. Our kids have been attending Fairview Christian School for 11 years now. My oldest is an eighth grader and he started in 2 day Pre-School when he was just 3! Hard to believe how quicly the years have flown by. Fairview has been an extended family to us and the kids over these past ten+ years, providing a wonderful, caring, loving environment for our children to grow up into. Our 3 kids have grown into good, caring, respectful teens and almost teens (most of the time :-) and have had great experiences not only in their classes, but also in sports, drama and singing, public speaking, leadership, field trips and much more. The kids have also done extremely well academically. The teachers are great! The small class sizes and caring teachers have really helped to ensure that the kids (and our boys really needed that extra encouragement sometimes) have gotten an excellent education. There's a great focus on science at the school, where every grade participates in a school level science fair every year. The school also, every year, hosts a district-wide science fair for 5th through 12th grades and Fairview kids often take top honors. We feel that Fairview is preparing our kids very well for their next step into high school. The PTF group (Parent Teacher Fellowship) is strong and they are doing lots of things to support the school. I've also seen many of Fairview's alumni come back to school events to help or just to watch the show. Several have even come back to work for Fairview! Overall, we're very pleased with Fairview and all it has done for us over the years, especially with scholarships and the relatively low price in comparison to similar schools. read more

My kids started going to Fairview at 4 months old. My daughter is now in Kindergarten and my son in Preschool. Just this morning my 3 year old said, "Are we going to school today?" I told him yes and he said, "Yay! I love going to school!" Anyone with a 3 year old knows how big of a deal this is :) Not only do my children love it there, but they are so well loved there as well. The teachers and staff are very caring and dedicated. Mrs. Brown is easily one of the greatest teachers there is, combining just the right amount authority with love and kindness. I don't know how she does it. My daughters kindergarten teacher is wonderful as well. Always so welcoming with a great big smile. The child center director and principal have always treated us as valued family members, showing great generosity and compassion when we found ourselves in a financial hardship. They really care about their families and it shows. Fairview is a very special place and I would recommend it to anyone! read more

Our son began attending Fairview in Kindergarten, and this year he will be one of the graduating eighth graders. I can't say enough about this school and this community. The education he has received has been outstanding. The small class sizes at Fairview, as well as the freedom the faculty has in choosing effective curriculum, enables them to teach these kids as the unique individuals they all are. My son is heading in to high school with such a strong academic, social and moral foundation. When I think about what my middle school experience was like, and I look at the kind of crap going on in most public schools today . . . and then I look at this happy, smart, well-adjusted kid . . . My two daughters have been attending Fairview for the past 5 years. It has been a wonderful experience from start to finish ... Loving environment & culture, exceptional academics, passionate teachers, and inspirational vision for the future. The staff really strives to engage the heart and mind of the kids day in and day out. Older kids have a connection & help mentor / role model for the younger kids. That has been awesome to watch given my kids are currently in Kindergarten & 2nd grade. Overall, there is a strong sense of community among the parents, teachers, & kids of all ages. We love Fairview. Fairview is not just a school, it is a community of people who want their kids to have a fabulous education and who want to be involved in the lives of others at Fairview. The teachers are fabulous and truly care about their students, the families are wonderful and are a huge part of what makes this place so special, the administrators are incredible and do such a great job of reaching out to families and the students are amazing. Because Fairview is Birth thru 8th grade, you really get to see the kids grow up. It is so amazing to see them grow into young adults who love Jesus and love each other! read more

This is a fantastic school! Both of my kids started at Fairview in the Pre-K program and are currently in elementary school. Each year we have been amazed by the teachers and the individualized attention they give each student. Fairview has a wonderful science program that all grades (preschool thru 8th grade) participate in each year and the kids learn so much. Our children have been attending Fairview Christian School (FCS) for 5 years. Not only does it rank extremely high academically but it is a very warm and loving environment. This was important to me as I believe this is where a child's confidence grows and from this is where they begin to excell in many areas. The classroom sizes are small, with personal attention for each student. The student feels known and valued by the faculty as an important part of the school. We've been taking our daughters to the Fairview Childcare Center for almost five years now. The teachers and staff are very loving and fun. My girls LOVE them and love going to "school". We believe that they are getting an excellent education--especially in Mrs. Brown's 3 yr old/4 yr old "Castle Room". We're amazed at all of the fun things that she does with them: sewing projects, science fair projects, Olympic events and fun field trips, just to name a few. read more

My infant daughter started at Fairview 5 months ago and I could not be happier. The teachers in her room love her so much and I never worry about her when I am at work. Fairview was my first choice and I am so glad we got in, it has a family/community/caring feeling and is very different than the corporate 2nd choice option. Our daughter has been in Fairview's child care center for 4 years and we have been very pleased with our experience. At Fairview you get the benefit of a community where they really do love each child and help them thrive. We have enjoyed all of the teachers and our daughter loves going to school there. Our daughter goes to daycare at Fairview. She has been in the infant room for the last 4 months or so and we couldn't be happier. We are first-time parents so we were a little bit nervous about leaving our baby with a daycare, but from day 1 we have had no reservations about Fairview whatsoever. Both my girls (2 and 3) attend day care here and just love it. They are well cared for and very active there. The large indoor gym is great on rainy days. Field trips occur now and again. Good teacher to child ratio. Low cost compared to other places like Bright Horizons. My only slight disappointment is I think the snack menu could be a bit more healthy. read more

This is my sons first year at Fairview and we are more than pleased. I have always had a hard time leaving my child with someone all day and my husband and I couldn't wait to get him into Fairview. I feel so comfortable and secure leaving him everyday. He adores his teachers Mrs. Brown and Ms. Ranita. I plan on keeping my son at Fairview for as long as I can. read more

My daughter loves going to school here. She loves her pre-school class and teacher. Her teacher did a great job, so I'm looking forward to what's to come this school year as she transitions to the next level, Pre-K.
