We have been going here for over 3 years for my son who is ASD/ADHD. All I have to say is this is the most AMAZING team of doctors, in particular Dr Amie Dmytryshyn. I wish she was my own Dr. So responsive and caring. Not only that but if she is uncertain about something she has the professionalism and grace to say I am going to do a bit of research or talk to another dr to get some feedback. To find a Dr who cares enough to admit they might not have the answer off the top of there head is unheard of.
My son has been so well cared for and I have felt heard and understood here. My son is not judged for his "behaviours". There is compassion and a true desire to do good by him.
As for the the reception - I have felt at times they have been curt but over the years its improved. In fact I just got off the phone today after a very pleasant experience with Paula. I am sure they have had to deal with their fair share of patient crap - they are the gatekeepers. We have a system that requires referrals every 6 months and long wait times. People get cross, annoyed and frustrated and at take it out on the easy target - reception (I am sure most folks would never think of spewing rudeness at the actual doctor!). I have worked front line before - you get to see the garbage of humanity.
Anyways who cares about reception - you are going there to see a Dr. And the doctors are amazing. Dr. Dmytryshyn is our primary but we have seen 2 others and all have been fabulous. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more
