I am not sure how you can get lower than one star!! My step mother has been in this place for a week and just got her first bath. The facility is old and outdated. The small Jack and Jill bathrooms shared by 4 people are horrible. My mother was there for physical therapy and was left in the bed for 5 days. The only reason she got out of bed was when I took her out. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to improve their health. read more

Very very very very very Dirty and filthy place! It has very strong smell of cat pee thru out entire building, when I came here for an hour to visit my grandpa I had to cover my noise it was dusty everywhere and this extra nasty smell really bothered me so much! If you want yourself or love ones be in comfort please avoid this nasty and garbage place! This place assist people to get them even sicker! I'm planning to get my grandpa out of here as soon as possible! Btw it's too hot in each room and make you get sweaty like crazy! read more

My dad had been transferred from the hospital to this nursing home Fairland center, the first day he got there we came to visit and throughout the building smelt like straight up pee/poo, me my mom my twin sister and my brother went to his room and the room was nasty with poop on the wall, pee on the floor and not even a single nurse in the room to help him on his first day there, but when he first got there he was looking healthy and strong until a few days past we came back and he looked super ill. THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO SEND ANY FAMILY MEMBERS,MOST OF THE NURES ARE NOT EVEN DOING THERE JOB,I RATE THIS PLACE A ZERO BAD SERVICE FOR MY DAD. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My aunt was placed here after a massive heart attack that left her on a trach to breathe. This place supposedly "specializes" in patients on tracheostomies & need to be weaned off of sedation after a hospitalization..,.yeah right. We went to visit her one evening, as we walked in the smell was horrid. Her room was probably one of the furthest from the nurses station (she not only had a trach, but a PICC line, a stomach tube and she couldn't speak but there may have been brain damage from the heart attack.) The "staff" was gathered at the desk gossiping, laughing & doing anything but taking care of patients. When I got to my aunt's room, it was so hot, you could barely breathe. Her mouth was so dry, her lips were cracked & peeling, very obvious that they hadn't swabbed her with ice water or been wiping her face off. The tech came in to take her blood pressure (that was probably the first time that day they had done so) I went off! I insisted a fan be placed in her room (which they had her in with a male patient & no curtain closed between them) & I wanted a washcloth, a swab & ice water. When I gave her the swab, it was obvious she hadn't been given water in ages. I wiped her mouth to remove dead skin & wiped her face. This was the first time my 13 year old daughter had seen her after her heart attack & it disturbed her so much she had to sit in the hallway sobbing, no one came to offer her tissues or ask if she was ok. The care here is so pathetic her stomach tube came out (they said she pulled it out, but I believe they neglected to pay attention & it slid out because the sweat made the tape come off). When you ask simple questions (and I have medical background) they look at you like you're an idiot. I'm so disgusted that Kaiser Permanente would move her from Holy Cross Hospital to a filthy, nasty place like this. My aunt was a loyal government employee for 35 years & they sure didn't waste time taking money out of her paycheck for her health insurance but when it came time to need it, this place is just one of the places they put her. Anyway, if you care about your loved one or want them to get attention, do NOT put them here. It is seriously dirty, smelly, the employees get paid to sit around & run their mouths instead of care for seriously ill patients. Sadly, we lost my aunt to this illness but I wanted to warn any potential patients about this place. Never have I been so disgusted & angry about how a loved one was treated. I don't think they EVER put a fan in (it was the end of November & the heat was cranked up on full blast) to cool her off, they never adjusted her position so she was more comfortable, I had brought her "snuggie" pillow from home, which was very cool from being brought in from the outside & when I laid it next to her head, she got a look of relief like I had never seen. She could communicate by mouthing words, so I KNOW she had let them know of her discomfort. Please, please, PLEASE, don't ever put a family member or loved one here. The state health board should be checking into this dump without announcing they are coming to inspect. The "nurses" are all mostly temps & some don't speak halfway decent English. Minus 5 stars for this hole in the wall. read more

TERRIBLE PLACE!!! They doctor had me wait for her to come in to check my family member and said she would be back but ended up leaving for the day. The workers there just play around with each other. I can only count a few who are dedicated to their work, there was on light skin women and brown skin women who genuinely cared and did their job properly. They do not like to feed the people there. My family member use to be so thirsty for water and they would not give water because they didn't want to have to help them use the bathroom. They didn't know my family members condition and tried to yell and say that he never talked to them when he was paralyzed ! It is a DISGUSTING place. read more
