We have stayed here before and it has been a good place. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom had a great shower. The only odd thing was some unidentified ticking noises that we heard after the lights were out. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Breakfast had a lot of selections from make-your-own-waffles, oatmeal with lots of toppings, scrambled eggs, link sausage and fruit. So maybe this is our go to place to stay overnight in North Platte.

Right off the highway. Clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Coffee in the morning, bold and medium with cream provided. What more do you need for an overnight stay? One of the better Fairfield inns I have stayed in.

This venue seems to be THE overnight stopping point for my family members and me over the last 4-5 years. It's an easy 660 miles from our home in Salt Lake City, and on our trip back to NC last month to deliver my son's truck to him at Fort Bragg, this was our first overnight stop. We last stayed here in 2017 on a reverse trip from Atlanta, and my son stayed here in early 2018 (in some real bad weather enroute to Pennsylvania to start a new job.) So our stay here was great (again), and we were pleased to find out that this location even had their complimentary breakfast working in the morning! The staff used tables that were set up and where you placed your order to masked kitchen personnel who got you your order for you. So that was nice that this service was working in Nebraska (as opposed to NOT working later in the week at another Marriott location there in Fayetteville.) The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful and even recommended a walk-to restaurant that my wife and I patronized later than evening (which is the subject of my next Yelp review.) Nice place, and always has been. Five Stars for great effort during the COVID-19 pandemic!

The hotel's location is very convenient to I-80 and there few good restaurant options nearby. The check-in staff was very friendly and quickly got me on my way. The room was clean and comfortable and the property overall is well-maintained as I would've expected from a Marriott Brand. I would stay again if I'm travelling through as my stay was a positive experience. I recommend this Fairfield Inn for a good, yet cost effect stay in North Platte.

Moving across country and need a place to stay for the night. I am extremely loyal to Marriott properties and almost always have an excellent experience. Staff is very friendly. Check in was easy. Bed was comfortable. However, everything else was kind of lacking. Other guests were not wearing masks in lobby and common spaces. Hotel room was very dusty. There are large pumps for shower products, instead of individual mini bottles which isn't ideal for germs. Room needs some updating, especially the bathroom. Stayed at both the TownPlace Suites in Des Moines, IA and Courtyard in Elyria, OH on this trip and would give both 5 stars for comparison. No trailer parking for anyone who might be traveling with one!

This place seems fairly new and is right off I-80, next to a state police station, and across the street from Fort Cody, a kitschy quasi-museum and Western trinket tourist trap. Clean room, better than average complimentary breakfast, a working PC and printer in the business center, friendly breakfast hostess, and always hot coffee in the lobby.

Clean and friendly. Could use some updating. Very small pool. Not bad for a short stay.

Once you get into the parking lot, you're under the sign and it's hard to verify that you're at the Best Western rather than at the Comfort Inn or whatever else is in the row of businesses. Kleenex and hand soap hadn't been replenished, so I had to ask for them. Lighting is good for hotels in this area, though if you'll be reading, you might want to bring your own lamp or a brighter bulb. There is a small table with can be moved. This should be mandatory for every hotel. Shampoo is hardly natural, but it doesn't contain the harsh, dermatitis-inducing SLS or SLES you find in most hotel shampoos. The bedspreads are washable. Less chance of cuddling up under someone else's crud. Electric outlets exist right where I need them. The shower head is high--great for taller people, but anyone under 5'5" will have a hard time adjusting the spray pattern on the shower head. Other lodging options: Husker Inn downtown is old and tiny, but amazingly friendly and always affordable. Some of the big-name hotels on the north side of I80 are filthy, so read the reviews carefully.

Their breakfast buffet changes daily, they post the menu, and its always delicious. The room had a sitting area with a couch, small refrigerator. The windows looked out into a tractor/machine dealership that must have had some problems with stealing because after dark, there were bright lights that lit up the whole yard, but the hotel had blackout drapes which shut out the light. Wanted to also give a shout out to the hotel clerk Angela that checked me in as I really enjoyed talking to her.

The staff were very short (attentively speaking) and milling about cohering with the regulars to the casino games. The room. Ugh. There was splatter on the ceiling, that I'm not sure if it was blood, red wine, kool-aid, or what, but it was disgusting. We pulled back the blanket on one of the beds, ewwwww. There were either blood stains or food stains on the sheets. . Went to the lobby, after waiting for 15 minutes for the clerk to return, asked for clean sheets, he just handed them to me, (yes, to make the bed myself). Then, there was a large group of unruly teens hanging out in the patio area, kept pounding and kicking my door. Called the front desk, nothing was done. Then, the bed. The absolute hardest bed I've ever laid on. The ground probably would've been more comfortable. Then, walking to the dining area, large bins set up through several hallways collecting water leaking through the roof. WTH?! Then....the breakfast. The waffles tasted old, the eggs weren't cooked even close to enough, and the hot tea bags, were tea bags meant to make the quarts of ice tea. The hot tub was closed down with no notice on the advertisement and the pool was freezing cold and smelled funny. Just an all around disappointing stay, I'll be contacting Wyndham re: this hotel. It's an awful representation of their brand.

There is a small cafe open 24/7 next door for those who arrive late at night when alot of places are closed. I read many of the reviews on here about this place and they are accurate. Its an older motel with alot of character that is hard to find these days. I noticed the great curb appeal and attention to detail with the nice kept up landscape and flowers near the entrance to the lobby. There is some road noise but the air conditioning drowns that out resulting in a restful night sleep. The hotel staff are pleasant and accommodating. They appear to go out of their way to make things enjoyable. I loved the little things like the bottled water and snacks. The wife scolded me for eating the M&MS because it looked like the bag(snaxk size) went through the washing machine. My reply was that they were clean. The breakfast in the morning was presented nice and I liked they had fresh donuts from the bakery and real orange juice (tropicana) and not the watered down version i get at bigger chain hotels. They even had cubed watermelon on ice for their guests. They had every option covered so a good thing for a family with picky kids. Motels staff came out to make sure everything was stocked. For the money $100.12- I am quite happy with my stay when the other neighboring hotels are charging twice that. This is a good deal for the money. I would love to stay here again!
