I believe there is a very long curb not marked with emergency paint available. I did use Hilton app to check in about two hours before my arrival. Upon my arrival there was not an electronic key on my app. The young lady at front desk helped me out immediately giving me a couple physical cards. This location is still offering cookies in the afternoon as well as the 24hr. coffee bar. Our room was cooled and clean upon arrival. There was an oversized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available. Bathroom was clean with hand soap and body lotion on wall in pump containers. There were also pump containers in curtained shower of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Water was hot and shower head was adjustable. I selected a room on the side of building which faced busy highway not knowing how the hotel was oriented. Because of the extra ridges on roadway I heard trucks going by almost all night. I know better if in area again. My wife and I both felt the bed was a little firm. We prefer softer. Breakfast was a step up from other Hampton's we have stayed in. First, there was packages of honey at coffee bar 24/7 for my wife's tea. For breakfast there is a carafe of infused water with fruit, packages of good salsa for the omelet, cinnamon flavored waffle batter, and an upgraded pastry selection. I did use first floor restroom which was clean and stocked with a nice heavy paper towel. I would stay here again if traveling thru area.

This place worked out beautifully as it was only 30 minutes from the Renaissance Faire and was also on my way home. Checking in was super easy as they had my card from the reservation I made, and they didn't bill it until after I arrived so that was cool. The room was decent sized, and appeared to be pretty clean. We had just finished with a pretty long day and we were most interested in maybe grabbing something to eat and just going to sleep... Which is where the fact that there's a Wendy's and a Burger King on either side of this place came in handy. Okay so it's not five star dining but it definitely hit the spot. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. The important part about the breakfast I really need to mention is that they have bacon. And not just a few pieces of bacon just in case somebody decides they want some, but instead they had a whole tray. Despite what my wife says as she feels bacon shouldn't be crispy, this was. In my opinion it was perfect.. and that I promise will be the last that I say about the bacon In addition to the other standard selections that a hotel has for breakfast, this one had a pancake machine. I'm used to seeing the waffles which were absent at this location but there was a machine that you just put your plate under it and push the button and there's a big old bag of batter inside of it with a roller next to it and it basically squeezes out of pancake and runs it across the conveyor belt and cooks it. I'm not personally much into pancakes but I thought that was pretty cool. Anyway, the staff was rather friendly and super helpful as we went down to the front desk for a couple things after we checked in and there were no problems. I'll definitely keep this place in mind the next time I head in that direction. The price for the room was actually rather inexpensive compared to what I've paid recently for other places so that was also a bonus.

During COVID, we liked that our room had its own exterior door & that we could eat breakfast in our room. Our room was beautiful & decorated in floral lavender. The bed was comfortable & the fireplace made it very cozy during a very cold & snowy weekend. The inn & grounds were also gorgeous & well kept. We would like to be able to explore more of the inn's common areas when we return post COVID. We LOVED the breakfast. It was unique and absolutely delicious! The blueberry breakfast cake is something you should not miss! We also took advantage of the couple's massage at the in-house spa. It was professional, relaxing, & exceptionally well done. Karen & her family are friendly inn keepers & we look forward to our next getaway with them!

The one we booked apparently had "maintenance issues", so we were placed in another room that we really weren't happy with. While it was functionally fine, it looked like it was straight out of a Golden Girls episode, and really wasn't what we wanted at all. We checked the refrigerator in the room and discovered that the previous occupant's leftovers were still there. There was also a dirty sock under the bed. Not even way under, I just bent down and saw it. It was also $25 cheaper than the room we booked, but we weren't refunded the difference. We really should've been informed beforehand that the room we booked wasn't available so we could make other plans. At the very least, we should've been refunded the difference between the room we booked and the one we ended up with. On to breakfast.... Unfortunately, it was nothing memorable. Fruit, a small cup of eggs and ham that my husband said tasted odd. French toast that was doused in sugary strawberry syrup. After we left we got breakfast at a diner nearby, which we DID enjoy. So overall, not a great experience. I think we would have enjoyed our stay a whole lot more if we'd actually been able to stay in the room we booked, but as it stands now, we probably won't be going back to the Berry Patch.

Air conditioning was fine, I could adjust as I needed. Other than a few doors closing, it was very quiet on a week day. I was facing the parking lot, not sure how noisy on the highway side. Nice selection of food in the morning, although I missed most of it, because I slept late. I would definitely recommend this for the price, it was perfect.

Stayed here for a long birthday weekend from VA. It is a…read morevery clean & small hotel with 5 floors & plenty of parking. The larger studio with 2 Queen Beds & pull out sofa is very spacious with 4 adults but can accommodate 5. There is a partitioned room /work space from the sleeping area, but no door. There are also two TVs. The other tv is located in the work space/separate sitting area with a pull out sofa, coffee table, & a pull out work table & office chair. There are numerous outlets, however some of the sockets were "loose" the plugs wouldn't stay secure in the outlet. But fortunately we remedied this by using other available outlets near the floor lamps. I was relieved when my friend & I pulled out the sofa bed, because sometimes you never know what kind of "surprise" you might find. The sofa bed was really clean & looked relatively new. My friend reported that the bed was a bit stiff but was fine. The AC unit worked like a charm! I do like the full sized shampoo/conditioner & body wash. It's very convenient. A hair dryer is provided for convenience. I do make it a point to search for hotels with a microwave & mini fridge. It's super helpful for road trips for your bottled water or beverages to keep cold & store leftovers. Water pressure was good, as well as the temperature. The only thing that was disappointing was the every other day housekeeping. Although this is mentioned in their website. Breakfast was fairly extensive, with a mixture of cold & hot items such as make your own waffles with options of bottled toppings aside from syrup, toast, bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal, bananas, apples, oranges, jams, jellies, & three hot items that would vary on occasion of a frittata, or an omelette, and a type of sausage, either pork or turkey varying on the day. There were friendly employees tending the breakfast area with a smile, ensuring the areas stayed clean & items were replenished & for assistance if needed. Juices & milk were available. While the tea & coffee were at a separate area in the dining area. While it became busy, there was still plenty of seating & no back ups with obtaining food. Sometimes, I wonder exactly what people are looking for when it comes to "complementary" breakfast, when they refer to the breakfast as being garbage or inedible. Clearly you're not going to have eggs Benedict or avocado toast & customized smoothies. If a hotel provides numerous options that also include hot items, I get pretty excited. Haha, it's when it's a continental breakfast that consists of JUST bananas, apple or a bagel & yogurt or a thrown in granola bar is when the disappointment arrives for me. Honestly, it's a nice convenience to have breakfast included so you don't start your day off hangry or trying to figure out where you're going for breakfast. It saves time, & it essentially saves money. It definitely is close to Chocolate World, Hershey Park & a 5 minutes drive from The Hershey Story, Chocolate Avenue Grill & Au Bon Lieu! Roughly a 45 minute drive to Strasburg RR, and a 35 minute drive to Turkey Hill Experience. There is a CVS within walking distance down the block, and an Exxon a block away on the other side of the hotel. The post office across the street is an Annex, so if you need to mail something off, there is a post office near the Hershey Story Museum, behind the Starbucks area. Although places are within walking distance, the streets are not ,that lead to the restaurants. There is no sidewalk until you reach a far way down. Overall, this is a good choice for a hotel if you want to be "centrally" located to Lancaster & other activities outside Downtown Hershey. It's in an unassuming area that seems out of place, but it's convenient, clean, spacious, includes breakfast, parking is included, has a microwave & mini fridge so it ticks off all the boxes for me. Plus the staff were kind & friendly & the hotel looked fresh & beautiful. The indoor pool is small & only 4 feet deep I believe, so if a pool is a deal breaker, this might be a no go for you. Ps if you want a surface to eat on because you don't feel like dining out & you order take away, you can roll that office table between the two beds & use it as a dining table.

The room felt dark-with decor in particular. Breakfast every morning. Had your typical breakfast- waffle maker waffles, cereal, bagels, eggs, a breakfast meat, yogurt, fruit, juices. They also had coffee that was out 24/7. Has a small indoor pool and a nice exercise room. Hershey Park during summer months have concerts that you can hear from the sound from your room. So if you go to bed early this may be an important factor. Rooms didn't really have a refresh. I was lucky if trash was taken out and we got new towels without asking. Not a bed made once. I miss those days of coming back to a nicely made bed. I guess those days are long gone? Also, the week we were there lots of kids which were running around the lobby like it was a playground. Overall my stay was okay. I might book here again if I was in the area but I would also consider a different spot as well.

I will absolutely not be returning to this place ever; unless you want a horror show experience.
