LOVED the clean bathroom and all the counter space!
    J. R.

NOTE: I had an issue with my credit card being overcharged when I stayed here (I was charged more than the TOTAL I was quoted when making the reservation). I will address that issue at the end of this review. That being said, I loved this new hotel (I think it's only been open a couple months). We stayed 3 nights and the room was very comfortable. It was large, and had a lot of storage areas - a nice bench for your luggage and a roomy closet. There was a frig and coffee pot with all the supplies. The beds were fantastic and the sheets and towels were super-clean. The bathroom was really nice - very modern, spacious and clean, and again a lot of storage. Our room was quiet - no issues with loud sounds. I love staying in newer hotels, it makes going to older ones hard! There is plenty of free parking at this hotel. The lobby and breakfast area are large and very nicely decorated. The complimentary breakfast was good and the area was kept clean and well-stocked. It's really a beautiful hotel and very comfortable, especially for a long stay. There's a washer and dryer (coin operated), a gym and a pool. This location was good for us. It was far enough away from downtown Atlanta to not have such a high price tag. We drove into Atlanta via I-85-N every day and it took about 20 - 30 minutes (that includes that horrendous Atlanta traffic!) The hotel is just minutes from the entrance to I-85 to get into Atlanta. There's not much around the hotel to walk to; it sits back and is kind of secluded - there are woods around it. There's a big gas station, and some fast food restaurants (Dunkin Donuts, Waffle House) and a couple of stores, but not too much more that I saw near the hotel. Two exits north on I-85 (2 miles), there are tons of fast food places, Walmart, and a lot of shops. It's a good location. The employees here were exceptionally nice during my stay. You can tell you are in the south - everybody is very nice and friendly; I appreciate that. (Read no further if you are not interested in my overcharging issue.) I'm giving this hotel 5 stars because I think that it what it deserves. But, I did have an issue. I used to get a paper bill under my door on the morning of departure. Trying to "go green" and use less paper, Marriott now emails the bill (you can go downstairs to the desk and get a paper bill, but that takes time and I didn't do it). I appreciate the green effort, but it failed me this time. I left the hotel with no paper bill, and by the time I read my email with the bill attached, I was 100 miles away. My bill was more than I had made the reservation for. (My reservation included a TOTAL, and that included taxes.) I called the hotel and spoke with the manager; she was nice, but we argued back and forth about the overcharge. She wasn't relenting and said I would have to prove what my rate was. I didn't think I could, so I told her I was disappointed and ended the call. I then looked at my emails, and I found the rate, and it was, indeed, what I had said - it was lower than I was charged, so I COULD prove it. I called back - 10 minutes later - but now the manager was too busy to talk to me. I asked for her email and I said I would email the rate I was quoted (which included taxes). I didn't hear back from her for a couple days, so I emailed again. She answered me, but said she would not refund the amount overcharged because it was "taxes". The rate I was quoted in my reservation online included taxes, so I was disappointed that the charge was more than I was quoted. There was no more communication about the issue, and I accepted the overcharge (reluctantly). I was travelling for 2 weeks and while this one overcharge was not huge, if I was overcharged that amount by every hotel I stayed in, it would significantly increase my travelling budget! Since 2008, I have been staying in Marriotts 60 - 80 nights a year (enough to continually have Elite status). I have never, not even once, been charged more than $1 or $2 (usually it is within a few cents) more than the total I was quoted; I am normally charged the exact amount I was quoted. While this is a super-nice hotel, I don't know that I would stay here again; allowing a hotel free reign of my credit card just isn't my thing. Check your bill before you leave! I also might add that if Marriott wants to "Go Green" by saving paper - that's a great thing. However, I would suggest that they start by placing recycling bins in this (and other) hotels. This hotel had no recycle bins (I even called the front desk and asked). If they are committing to going green, go all the way and do it for the environment, not just for the Marriott Company to save money on paper. Just a suggestion.

We took the advise from a fellow yelper's review and did stay here for 1 night…read more We was welcomed by a sweet gal that made check in so easy and we felt like we were at home-asking her if they had any hot chocolate at the coffee station she said yes and that she would get us some fresh hot water for it!! So sweet and accommodating. The room was a handicapped room, which was very close to the elevator due to my needs. It was very clean, nice new smell and roomy, nice sized TV with a remote that was inside of a mesh bag. We were very pleased with the room. The beds were a little too firm for me though. The pillows were very soft and very flat. It took 2 pillows to make 1 pillow. Wish they could replace the pillows. This is the only real downfall for me- I need a soft bed with fluffy, soft pillows. The drain in the tub was not draining very well. I cannot stand water filling the tub as your taking a shower. You would think the maid would know this by cleaning the shower and would have maintenance get the rat out of the drain. The breakfast buffet was good. They had grits, eggs-eggbeater ones-pancake waffles, sausage links, sausage gravy, biscuits, cereal, breads, muffins, peaches, orange and apple juice. Would definetly stay here again but, I'm bringing my own pillows next time!!---

Checked in at 5pm. On our way to the pool, I noticed the note in the room that says to get towels at the front desk. Lady- unapologetically- noted they didn't have any. I asked her what my kids should do then, drip their way to the room after the swim? She just stared at me blankly and said they had no clean bath towels nor pool towels. She Suggested I get the ones from my room. So I took myself back upstairs only to find out that my room had no freaking towels other than hand towels. Do they have a housekeeping staff? WTH?!? I do not understand. Check in starts at 3pm. Two hours later you have no clean towels in the hotel to even properly prepare rooms your guests are staying in? I went back downstairs and spoke to another lady- manager- who miraculously came up with two towels for the kids (took them from another room). I still have no towels in the room and zero apology from the staff who couldn't care less.

I made a bee-line back to the desk after I ran water in the sink for 5 minutes with no hot water. I returned to my room to sleep after being told that work had been done on the hot water system today and all would be fine in the morning. Morning arrived and still no hot water. The new front desk clerk advised that no one had complained about it. I'd mentioned the lack of hot water with someone in the elevator. He had the same problem, ... I guess he did not complain. I any event, I took the desk clerk up on an offer to more me to a room with hot water, while the maintence person ran the shower full blast for 10 minutes to get a modestly warm flow. I showered in my new room. The water was modestly warm, but I was cautiously optimistic that things would improve later. Stupid me! I fell for the okey-doke! The patterned repeated itself the next morning! Overall, the people were nice, but they lied (or did not disclose known facts) about the hot water supply. Furthermore, the hotel is in need of refurbishing. This was demonstrated by a pull-out work shelf in the night stand completely pulling out when I attempted to use it. I hate to show my age, but I remember the reputation that Hampton Inn earned for affordable quality in the 1980's. Unfortunately recent stays have shown a steep decline in both quality and affordability.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Even though we were near the interstate and another busy road, we heard nothing. Our bed was fantastic. What a great nights sleep. The breakfast was below Hampton Inn Standards. I would look elsewhere for breakfast, as there are many choices. I would not hesitate to stay at this location when in the area again.

When my family and I approached the counter , Jamila, who was working the desk was unfriendly. We weren't greeted with a smile or a hello, but we were greeted with a stand offish attitude. She barely spoke to us forcing us to ask questions as we prepared for our stay. At first I gave her the benefit of the doubt because sometimes ppl have bad days but the experience gets worse. We proceed to our room, where after we stripped our bed, we found a healthy bed bug, on the bed skirt , at the foot of our bed. To accompany, there were large old blood stains on the mattress that we observed before actually finding a bed bug on our bed. We ran out of the room immediately. When I got downstairs, I got to the counter to see Jamila again whom I told about the bed bug. When I told her she didn't offer an apology, make a face but just said, I'll be back. She then came back and said , I'm going to refund you. While doing so, she charged my card, twice for the amount of the room. I asked for a manager , and Jamila told me , twice that she wouldn't be in until the morning.. next thing we know, there is a lady who comes out the back to assist with the transaction who happens to have the same name on her name tag as the managers name on the business card she gave me. Again, no one offered an apology, nor a piece of respect after finding a bed bug in the bed that my family and baby were going to occupy at this nasty hotel. The managers name was Charnessa or something of that sort. All in all, my family funded that hotel this weekend with so many coming in and with that the hospitality was extremely poor. I'm very disappointed and I will be reaching out to corporate with my concerns.

Nothing special at all. Not even a chin up bar. The suites' kitchens felt poorly designed. The sink was too small for the faucet, for example. I was thrilled when I saw the room, since it is huge! The decor and aesthetic are clean and modern, not dated. The kitchenette is solid, with a stovetop, full-sized fridge, and even a dishwasher! I took the opportunity to cook some meals here instead of eating out, and it was a good experience that made me feel at home. I love that they worked with the Container Store to provide high quality, ample storage options in the room, so I had lots of place to hang up my clothes and avoid wrinkles! I also liked how the enormous TV connected to Netflix, Prime Video, and other apps. The TV channel selection itself is good too. The bed was a tiny bit firm but I still sunk into it each night and didn't have problems sleeping on it at all. The bathroom was clean and well-lit. I didn't hear much noise at all, either outside or from any weird mechanical or AC systems (they can rattle or do similar things at older hotels). The free breakfast wasn't a huge spread, but it had some unique items and of course coffee, juice, etc. This isn't enough of a con to knock off a star, but this corporate park area is spread out, not really walkable to much, and not in the middle of any "action." But it's near a lot of larger streets and highways, so that is OK.

When we entered the room the we looked over the room as we normally would. We found hair in one of the showers and it was SO dirty. I called down to the front desk to tell the receptionist and she offered to clean it or move our room. We didn't want to move the room because it was a necessity for us to be adjacent. We chose for it to be cleaned. It was unfortunate that she had to leave the desk to come clean the room. She also brought us towels. The shower curtain liner was molded and smelled terrible especially when showering. The refrigerator was molded, beside the refrigerator there was so much dust and dirt. To top our entire stay off, a friend of mine who was staying in one of the rooms was bitten by a bed bug(s). Our stay was for four days. On our third day of stay, while at a restaurant for brunch we noticed her face and exposed skin had patches of swelling. The next morning there was more patches and swelling. We decided to strip the bed and see what was going on. We found a LIVE bedbug that we quickly placed in a Ziploc bag to show the front desk and there was also a surprise disgusting band aid left for us. Unfortunately because of our anxiousness we failed to get photo but were able to get others. The staff was friendly and did offer a refund for one of the rooms. Because they were adjacent with adjoining doors that we kept open the entire time of stay both rooms were more than likely affecteted. The occupants in the adjoining room were probably more immune to the bug and bacteria.
