They have some cute, silly little items inside and the staff was very friendly and sweet to our dog. Pets are very welcome here. They actually had some really nice smelling perfumes and I found a shirt that I wanted but they didn't have it in my size. They had adorable little corncob baby hats and lots of unique gift ideas. Unlike the Corn Palace, the gift shop is actually worth a stop.

This is an iconic Midwest American landmark, of sorts. I like this kind of thing. These are MURALS…read moremade of CORN on this building, people! Maybe it will not appeal to everyone though. There's not much to do here other than looking at murals made of corn (which definitely are impressive as far as that can go), and a video of the history of the place, which I found interesting. And of course a large, large variety of corn-themed souvenirs, and tons of popcorn-based snacks. Admission is free, usually; though there are events held here from time to time so check the schedule first.
