Busy shopping center so while the parking lot is large, getting a spot at peak times may be a short walk to where you are headed. That said, this is a vibrant and living area. The bookstore benefits from that with many fellow book lovers seeking out their next loved story. What goes great with a new book? Coffee or tea! Maybe a treat as well. The owner is super knowledgeable he answers a lot of hard questions. Some books are a little pricey but others are low so it averages out. We left with 5 books. One was signed by an author. Another was a book that goes for $100 online and we paid $25 so we will be adding to our collection. Definitely worth coming!

An older woman, who I assumed was an owner or manager, was talking energetically to two other women shopping when I walked in. She shot me a quick glance, then went back to talking to the two women. She shot one more quick glance before she went into the back room. No one said anything to me as I left. On a previous visit, I needed a calendar. Again, no greeting. When I went to purchase the calendar, the woman asked if I was part of their rewards program. (the most anyone ever has said in there) And when I replied no, she just wrung me up. No, "Would you like to enroll?" Someone gave me a gift card for the shop, but frankly, I can't see ever going back in again, so I'll regift it to someone who enjoys indifference.

Other patrons often leave bags of donations, so the shelves are stocked frequently. The store is well organized, with all the categories clearly labeled. The store is always clean and each item is clearly priced on the bag. There is a little of everything in this store, between fiction, non-fiction and children's books, as well as a decent selection of games. Along the front wall are a selection of coffee table and new(ish) books, and in the middle are tables with seasonal or topical books (including a table with President Jimmy Carter's biographies soon after he passed away). Most books are priced around $5 or less, and very few items are more than $10. On our last visit, my wife and I purchased 6 books and paid less than $30 total. There is a parking lot on site, and the volunteer staff are always very friendly and helpful.

The service was super sweet and friendly and the space had a hand sanitizer dispenser. They also take credit cards and do have their own bags if you forgot to grab your reusable one ahead of time.
