(English-language review above; German-language review below)…read more My wife and I rode the Füssen-to-Würzburg Romantic Road route at the end of September and rented bikes from Edgar Andrej at Multicycle Füssen. Rarely have I enjoyed such total customer satisfaction. Here's why: Multicycle was the ONLY shop in Füssen to respond to my e-mail inquiry about bike rentals. The rental rate was very reasonable, and for an extra EUR 60, we could leave the bikes behind in Würzburg for pickup, thereby sparing precious holiday time. The bikes were new, high-end 29er MTBs in excellent mechanical conditon -- not typical old rental clunkers. Mr. Andrej installed SPD pedals at our request and lent us locks, tools, spare tubes, and patch kits for our trip -- all at no extra cost. Mr. Andrej is a friendly, helpful, and capable person. We very much enjoyed getting to know him. Although we weren't in the market to purchase anything (other than helmets), we would certainly shop at Multicycle if we lived in Füssen - it's a clean, well-stocked, attractive store with everything a serious bicyclist needs. Bottom line: Multicycle Füssen is THE place to start a Romantic Road cycling tour if you need to rent your biking equipment. --------------------------------------- Meine Frau und ich sind ende September die Füssen-to-Würzburg Romantische Straße Route geradelt und haben unsere Fahrräder von Edgar Andrej bei Multicycle Füssen vermietet. Ganz selten bin ich als Kunde so völlig zufrieden gewesen: Multicycle war das EINZIGE Geschäft in Füssen, das meine Email-Anfrage über Fahrradverleih geantwortet hat. Der Mietpreis war günstig, und für einen Zuschlag von EUR 60, konnten wir die Räder in Würzburg einfach hinterlassen, was uns wegen unsere knappe Urlaubszeit sehr wichtig war. Die Fahrräder waren neue, hochwertige 29er MTBs in hervorragendem Zustand - nicht der typische Miet-Schrott, den man normalerweise erwartet. Herr Andrej hat SPD Pedale auf Wunsch montiert, und hat uns Schlösser, Werkzeug, Schläuche, und Patch-Kits für die Reise geliehen -- ohne Zusatzkosten. Herr Andrej ist ein freundlicher, hilfsbereiter, und kompetenter Mensch. Es freute uns sehr, ihn kennenzulernen. Obwohl wir diesmal (ausserhalb Helme) nichts kaufen mussten, wohnten wir in Füssen, würden wir bestimmt bei Multicycle einkaufen,- der Laden ist attraktiv, grossräumig, und bietet alles, was der ernsthafte Radler verlangt. Fazit: Multicycle Füssen ist der EINZIGE Startpunkt einer Romantischen-Straße Radtour wenn mann Fahhräder und Begleitausrüstung vermieten muss.
