I called this clinic first thing Monday morning when they opened at 8:00 a.m. to explain her situation. The staff member who answered was kind, attentive, and quick to help. After providing her information, they were able to schedule an appointment for the very next afternoon at 1:30 p.m.--a huge relief given the urgency. When we arrived around 1:00 p.m., check-in was smooth and efficient. As a new patient, I filled out the necessary forms on an iPad, and the front desk staff made the process easy. By 1:18 p.m., she was called back for an X-ray so Dr. Nguyen could evaluate her injury. Shortly afterward, we were brought into an exam room, and within minutes, Dr. Nguyen joined us. He introduced himself warmly, reviewed the X-rays with care, and clearly explained the available treatment options. From start to finish, every interaction--from the initial phone call to check-in and the doctor's visit--was professional, efficient, and compassionate. The entire staff was courteous and understanding, and Dr. Nguyen's calm, knowledgeable approach made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Overall, this clinic exceeded expectations. However, checking I also found out that , his office worker Ana Rodriguez was a mean and aggressive representative of his office. She was lethal to work with to prepare for upcoming surgery. She actually canceled the surgery and said don't call back. As I looked further, Dr. Blackwell has perfect and incredible reviews from patients, however, there was so many remarks about this member of his office staff and it was Ana Rodriguez. I ask to get a message to him and saying he will not get my message and to not call back. What?? I retrieved my MRI from the facility he sent me to and have an appointment a Texas Orthopaedics.

But like I told them I can't even put a shoe on this foot, how am I supposed to go back to my job now. Can't buy Christmas present, don't know if I can even pay next month's rent! The consultation was $100 and she said sometimes it could be as much as $400. I don't know his policy on insurance or what insurance he takes, it is not publicized online anywhere. It was going to cost $3,000 upfront to have the surgery. I cancelled the surgery and am looking for another general surgeon who takes my insurance. I had heard other people complain about the payment system here and I'm still not 100% on what it entails or doesn't entail. Make sure you find out before going.
