ProStar has been working VERY HARD on the exterior of our strata high-rise building for 5+ months,…read morefinishing yesterday. They did an amazing job under challenging conditions addressing exterior concrete repairs, replacing sealants, fixing leaks, treating rusty rebar, repairing and replacing flashing, power washing, painting and much more. The crew were always polite, cheerful and fastidious even while doing work 10+ stories up on narrow ledges in the hot sun; and rainy weather just meant they adjusted course a little and worked on what was needed in covered areas and then they went back to the exposed areas when the sun was shining. We can't imagine a more difficult job as they hung from ropes lowering paint cans, ladders, slabs of granite and much more. We are very grateful for their tremendous efforts.

In 2015 / 2016 Henderson Construction did a full blown renovation on our house; almost on time and…read morealmost on budget (hey - it's a project) During the cold snap in late February 2024 we discovered a previously unknown condensation issue on a portion of the pergola attached to the house. The issue resulted in some ice build up which resulted in water dripping from the ceiling of the pergola. We called Jeff who sent his Construction Manager (Shawn) to do some exploratory work to see if he could determine the root of the problem; in turn Shawn brought in some additional crew to pull apart some of the ceiling sections to find the problem. Nothing came to light as to the cause. Jeff brought back the insulation contractor who checked to ensure that the insulation work was not the cause of the issue (it wasn't). Jeff then brought in a Thermal Engineer to do a complete survey of our house, including thermal imaging to try locate any warm spot(s) that could cause the condensation problem. The Engineer determined that there was a small void attic area that was trapping heat from the house and was not vented correctly so as to prevent the condensation issue. On the recommendation of the Engineer, Jeff brought back the original roofer who installed appropriate venting which should prevent the condensation issue from happening again (will have to wait for the next cold snap to see if it worked). Shawn and the crew retuned after the vent installation and put everything back together, as though it had not been touched since the original construction had been completed. Have always been impressed with the professionalism of Jeff and the Henderson crew. This issue was not pushed to the back burner to be dealt with when convenient (or after all his previously scheduled work was completed), it was addressed quickly and efficiently (maybe 10 days in total). Jeff's attention to the matter further convinces me that Jeff and crew take great pride in the quality of their work and stand by their workmanship. My pleasure to recommend Jeff to anyone considering a renovation project. Also, a special call out to Curt at Synthesis Design who also stepped in to provide his expertise and opinion. Cheers George S.

To say Jeff Henderson was patient with us is an understatement. What I liked about the references Jeff provided is that many of them had used Henderson Construction a number of times, and all of them would hire Jeff again. Add us to that list. The workers showed up on time, worked hard and were always courteous and polite. Even the City inspectors commented on the high quality of the workmanship. We learned the hard way to do our due diligence and to ignore low bids. Also to ignore BBB ratings. Henderson Construction's bid was in the middle of the pack. We wish we'd found Henderson Construction when we first started our renovations, they were great from start to finish.

Our house is around 35 years old, he was able to give us excellent recommendation to make necessary improvement to fit our budget. Shaun is very detail oriented. For example, we told him that we would like to have the back gate being able to slide open easily and fit a regular car width, so we can drive in easily to park our car in our back yard. He made it happen and the rail mechanism he designed works really well even though we have a sloped driveway. Another impressive job that he did for us was straightening our old brick fence and brick column. ( We had a few contractors over but he was the only one who told us he could do it). All the renovation work was done in timely manner and the price he quoted us is the final price we paid. We highly recommend his work and will for sure hire him again for future projects.
