Incredibly sweet, fun to be around & accommodating. I was referred by my sister-in-law, who like me, will only trust our skin with Christina. My first couple visits were for spray tans, which were perfect. Very natural looking. They give me confidence in the summer to show-off my legs. The sessions are timely & comfortable. She is thorough drying me off, making sure the spray doesn't stain my feet, hands and nails. I never leave feeling that tackiness most spray tans can leave you with all day. I am able to put my clothes on and go about my day! Not only does Christina excel in spray tans, but she gives the best & most relaxing facials. The only issue I had was I couldn't stay & sleep--since I was incredibly relaxed. My skin felt years younger. The products she uses are medical grade too. Rarely are things that are so good for us enjoyable too! Once you go to Skin & Spa you'll be hooked! P.S. Reluctantly I went to a different spa to get a spray tan while Christina was on vacation. This spa had good reviews, so I thought it would be alright. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was a complete disaster. I will never make that same mistake again!!!

Then I saw all the amazing creativity that Ashley can do with nails. Well, I pick at my nails and they are often not long enought to justify "getting your nails done". My nails are so adorable and I've received a lot of compliments I can't wait to go back. I have to book a massage with Shawn! If you wanna treat yourself, come here. If you need to unwind, come here. If you need a gift idea, come here! You won't regret it!

For some unknown reason my original review somehow just vanished?? Makes me wonder where it went so…read morequickly? I'll need to investigate what happened. My experience with this salon was horrible I usually get 50 units of Botox but the girl told me that I should do 72 units for $964 so I figured she knew what she was talking about so I did it. I saw absolutely no improvement so I called & was told to give it 2 1/2 wks to be sure the Botox had amble time to work. I was given an appointment with Nicky because they said she has been there a while & I was happy to be meeting someone with experience. When I went in thinking she was going to do the right thing & fix the issue. After about 15 minutes she took me into a room & she wanted to take a picture. She then began playing with the photo for another 15 minutes & final said that my Botox did its job & showed me the picture that she actually photoshopped! I couldn't believe my eyes because the picture made me look lovely with diminished wrinkles that I had come in with gone that fast!! Like a miracle! Also the photo was in color & I deliberately didn't wear any makeup so she could see it didn't work!! She brings in another girl & now there are 3 of us & she starts saying that I should have some other treatment before getting Botox in the future! WHAT!! I have been getting Botox for years & never ever heard such a thing! This whole experience was a nightmare & to treated me like I was stupid was insulting! So I left & they did nothing to make it right!!!

I went in for my first procedure and, honestly, right from the start, I got the feeling I had just walked into the wrong kinda place. It's a "med spa" with an altar to a doctor that's been dead for several years. How does that work, anyway? The lady behind the desk came across like an uneducated redneck with a mean spirit but I was so determined to go through with my cool sculpting and skin tightening that I overlooked those things... The day of my first treatment, they used laughing gas on me. I was so high I couldn't understand the language in the song I heard in the background but knew it sounded familiar. I heard the owner say to the aesthetician, "why can't they leave our music alone?" And I said,"I know I'm supposed to know this song. What is it?" The owner answered,"it's that "Blackbird singing in the dead of night song" that Beyoncé did on her new album.i don't know why they just can't leave our music alone." Even as high as I was at the time, I was appalled. I think John Lennon would be, too. I asked for a refund two weeks later and they refused, which I understand. I didn't want to just write off the other 2k, so I tried going back for one more treatment. I felt completely dirty the entire time thinking that my money was directly supporting racist bigots, and I was supporting racist bigots by using their services. I decided they could keep the rest of my money. It wasn't worth $1000 to me to go back and face that struggle with my conscience. Just a warning to anyone who might find that info useful.

Now, I believe in telling the truth. There was a period when Jim sold the place, and things went downhill faster than a shopping cart with a bad wheel. We stuck around for a while, hoping things would improve, but it just wasn't the same. Then Jim bought it back, and suddenly it was like somebody turned the lights back on and remembered how to run a great nail salon. Every two weeks, like clockwork, you'll find us sitting in those chairs getting pampered far beyond what a couple of senior citizens probably deserve. Christine and Lin are absolutely the best. They know exactly how we like our nails done, remember what's going on in our lives, ask about our family, and genuinely care about us. After all these years, we're not customers anymore; we're family members who happen to pay for nail services. The quality of their work is consistently outstanding. We never leave disappointed, and after a decade of visits, that's saying something. Most businesses are thrilled if they can get you back a second time. Sindy Nails has kept us coming back for over ten years because they combine exceptional service with exceptional people. I've always said that anybody can paint nails. The special places are the ones that make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. That's exactly what Christine, Lin, Jim, and the entire team do. Five stars without hesitation. If you're looking for a nail salon in Fredericksburg, stop reading reviews and make an appointment. Trust an old guy who's been around long enough to know the difference between good service and great service. This place is the real deal.

It's always important to go in with an open mind whenever you bring in any inspiration. Even when I showed Mimi tik tok videos and photos, she did her version of it and it's so pretty! One time she tried out a cat-eye ombré and I loved the outcome. We don't really talk much during the service, but I'm honestly not much of a talker when I'm getting my nails done. I just like to relax and watch the work. If you're looking for new nail tech, definitely request Mimi. She's great at what she does and I'm sure you'll like her work just as much as I do.

This was my first time using Hand & Stone services and only my second experience with getting a…read moreprofessional massage. My husband purchased a gift card for me to surprise me with a massage for Christmas He was told at the time of purchase, that if he spent extra to add on services to exfoliate my hands and feet, then he would have spent enough money to qualify for an additional $50 promotional gift card. When he asked what that was for, he was told by staff that customers typically use the promotional cards as part of the gratuity portion of the bill of service to tip the staff, so my husband spent the extra money to get the promotion under the impression that I would be able to make an appointment and just come in, be treated, and be able to pay for services and gratuity with his gift cards that now hold over $200 in monetary value. I was instructed to arrive 15 minute prior to my 50 minute session to fill out paperwork which I did, however the extensive questionnaire took longer than the 15 minute timeframe allotted, and then afterwards the staff at the front desk proceeded to further ask me questions about what I wanted to get out of my massage appointment that was now cut 10 minutes short due to their pre-operative interrogation. When I presented my gift card and promotional gift card and stated my intentions for payment, I was informed by the front desk staff that the promotional cards cannot be used for gratuity and can only be used for add-on treatments. I told her about my husband's experience and she was unwavering, stating that he was given incorrect information and that I can use the promotion another time, or to add on a service if I wanted to. I asked her if I could then pay for the add-on services that my husband signed me up for with the promotional card and then use what was left on my gift card for gratuity, and the staff looked at me like I was not making any sense whatsoever. At this point the masseuse has come out to the front desk because we are now almost 20 minutes into my massage session and I felt like the front desk staff was looking and treating me as though I was the most frugal human on the planet. I had to clarify in front of the masseuse that my issue was not with providing gratuity, I was simply trying to use all of what my husband has gifted me and that this was not what he was sold, this was a big miscommunication. I was extremely uncomfortable with how this confusion was being handled. No one was sympathetic or understanding accept my masseuse, Connie. Connie was the only positive part of the entire experience. As soon as she guided me back to her room, I completely broke down in tears and explained how humiliated I felt. She was so understanding and professional and treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. I spent half of my already cut in half massage experience in tears, and she maintained complete composure and she helped relax me with her own calming presence. When my session was finished, I was met back at the front by the original staff where she asked how my experience what and I responded that it went fine. Then she asked if I wanted to book my next appointment and I declined, and then I respectfully asked to just be shown where I could leave my gratuity so that I could leave. She then made me stand there while she reviewed the membership program to me even though it was clear that I was not interested and I even told her I was not interested in a membership program, I still had to listen to the presentation while trying to leave a tip for Connie. Once I finally could leave, I called my husband from my car in tears and apologized for wasting his expensive and thoughtful Christmas gift to me. This was the worst experience I have ever had from something that was supposed to be a loving treat. I truly feel like my husband was completely taken advantage of that day when he first walked in, just wanting to buy me a nice and thoughtful present.

I went in for a massage a little bit ago and made the appointment online and specifically requested…read morefirm pressure. When I got to my appointment I was told the masseuse has a "wrist condition" and was unable to provide the desired pressure. I had to continue with the massage and did not get what I needed at all. I do not recommend at all!
