The day they installed my window I reached out to the office to make a complaint. it goes to an answering machine , so I keep trying various times finally getting to talk to the receptionist. I have to make my complaint online and received an email acknowledging that someone would get back to me. No one got back to me , I finally spoke to the owner by cell phone. Three times he said he would look into it. still no answer one month later. The installation inside looks fine, the exterior the chalking is choppy and there is no framing around the window. There is a big gap between the window and the siding.It seems like a simple fix but I now wonder how well it is actually installed. I hope they get back to me to fix this issue. J'ai appelé le service de carte. Le service de sécurité de la carte a qualifié ce geste comme un fraude, et la banque RBC nous rembourse le montant retiré sans permission de Factory Direct. Pros: Tony the salesman was courteous, helpful and responsive to questions. Cons: Confusion about the windows. We wanted wood, the company web site says they make their own wood windows. They don't, and apparently have problems with suppliers. Installation. Really rough, the guys were no craftsmen. Caulk smeared with abandon, including on the inside window frames. Openings rough cut with a recip saw, then gaps covered with 5" of metal cladding. We had other windows installed by another supplier, much better results. Avoid. read more

Overall a good experience and a good product. Wish they had been more proactive about wearing a mask, rather than waiting for me to ask them. More specifically, I appreciated the thorough estimate and explanation of the available options. Everybody was courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. The delivery time was long, due to COVID, so that is understandable. I kind of had to fight to keep my 100-year-old window mouldings, instead of having them replaced with PVC. I would have preferred more openness to my wishes, rather than immediate resistance, though I don't mind hearing out another option. Be very careful not to order from them... As they will promise you everything and then when there is any issue with the order, be the timing, be it mistakes etc. they will just not pickup the phone nor get back to you. There is a reason why they are giving lower prices... And there is a reason why there is no good reveiws to find about them, nor will they give you references of real clients who are satisfied with an address to actually visit and talk to them face to face or see the quality. Very dangerous to buy from them just because they setup a good website with good paid ads on google. they like all hidden companies hiding under a nice website but being run by 1 man. read more

Windows look great. The only issue we have is a little defect on the inside window of our front door, which we were told couldn't be changed, which is disappointing considering it was brand new. Other than that, whatever issues we had were resolved. read more

We had a horrific experience with FactoryDirect Saint-Laurent. They did a great job with our Patio Door during summer of 2017. So, this year (2018) we chose them for a much bigger job to replace 11 windows and garaged door. They did the work around end of April- start of May, 2018, and we paid the full amount right away, while telling the main workman that they did not properly finish four of our upstairs bedroom windows and we will contact the salesperson and the office. It took a while and many phone calls and messages before the Manager showed up at our home to see that there were no PVC trims placed over the outer edges of the four windows and the poor job of caulking was quite visible. The Manager promised to send the workmen back to install the needed PVC trims. Unfortunately, after many calls and messages and promised dates of work (we spent those entire days waiting), nobody showed up until now, not the workmen, not the Manager, and not the sales person. Lessons learnt: (a) don't ever choose FactoryDirect Saint-Laurent for your work, and (b) don't pay any money until the job is completed to your satisfaction in case you still choose this company.
