Absolute best quality photos I've ever seen from a photo booth!…read more I attended a wedding a few months ago that used Viva Booth. I loved them so much that when I was helping with the planning of a Gala for a non-profit, I thought they would be the best choice to capture the glamour I wanted to convey at the event. I reached out to Daniel and he ordered some great options to give incentives for sponsorships so that our foundation would not have to directly cover the costs. And it worked! We got two sponsors, emailed the logos, and Daniel made a few templates for me to choose from. He was such a great sport about the full day of emails I sent back and forth making tweaks. The end result was just perfect. The day of the event he arrived and set everything up in time for the guests to arrive. The printed photos were just gorgeous and all our guests had such a kick being able to take as many as they wanted. Immediately after the event (yes at 3am) Daniel emailed me a link with all our photos. I could not be happier with how great it all turned out. I encourage anyone looking for a photo booth for an event to use Viva Booth. They are professional with a personal touch, and the quality just can't be beat!

As a guest, it seemed like they make everything as easy as possible for the bride and groom. Daniel, the owner, was operating the photo booth so that all the guests could take pictures together and focus on having fun with the props. Speaking of props, they always have a wide array of different signs and cute accessories for your photos. They also provide you hard copies of the photos right away after they've been taken and virtual copies on their website! Daniel provides a business card with the website and password so that you have access to all the pictures which makes it so easy for you to download and share. It's also great to see everyone else's photos throughout the night since it seems as if everybody gets more and more rowdy/silly as you scroll through haha. All of my friends and family enjoyed it and absolutely love the photos and the high quality. Vivabooth provides an awesome service and they do a great job at coordinating with your theme and design. I would recommend them to anyone planning a formal event where they want to have something fun and exciting for their guests. I can't wait to see them at the next one!

    Sweet Little Notions

What a nightmare experience. I would give Taja and Sweet Little Notions zero stars if I could as…read moreshe didn't even show up to my wedding nor did she let me know that she wasn't coming. When I first booked Taja in Jan (for an October wedding), she was wonderful! Super responsive and friendly and she worked out a price/package to fit our needs. She even emailed me during the summer to check in and asked for my address so she could send me a little gift. I never received anything... not even a response to my email. Two months prior to the wedding, I was trying to reach Taja to go over final details and to figure out where we would be taking wedding photos. All my attempts to reach Taja and her assistant, Stephanie went unanswered for weeks. Day of the wedding, Stephanie informed me that Taja's flight back to DC was cancelled and she didn't arrive in DC until 6:00 am (my wedding started at 5:00 pm) so Taja wasn't coming. However, Taja did send a replacement photographer (Images by Geneva) who was wonderful and we could not have been happier with the substitute. The photo booth we had at the wedding was great and all our guests loved it. We were able to customize the design and text on the photo strip and guests even had the option to send the strips directly to their phones. They provided plenty of props for the photo booth too - this was easily the best part of Sweet Little Notions. After the wedding, I reached out to Stephanie to see how long it would take for us to get our wedding photos - understanding that combing through and editing thousands of pictures takes time. I was extremely thankful for Stephanie during this time as she was quick to respond to all my messages and always followed up with Taja for me. On November 20th, I FINALLY received a message from Taja herself. She apologized for "being not so responsive/accessible" and said that she was hand editing all our photos and would have her favorites over to us that day (which she did). Prior to Nov 20th, the last time I heard from Taja was Sept 25th. (Our wedding was Oct 25th). The communication, or lack there of, was horrendous. Things I had already discussed with Taja such as where we were looking to get pictures taken, wedding colors, size of wedding etc were not passed on to Stephanie and I ended up having to re-explain everything to Stephanie 1 week before our wedding. The pictures we received were good. However, it seemed like we were missing a lot. Since receiving our wedding photos, I have emailed Taja 3 times and have not heard one word from her or Stephanie. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. They consistently miss their own deadlines they give to clients without any sort of follow-up. Their lack of attention to detail, poor communication with each other and their clients, and inability to respond to emails/calls/texts in a timely manner (or respond at all) caused so much unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Very poor experience. This is a long one so I'll make my main point first and share my experiences…read moresecond. Look, you're going to have some unusual difficulties getting married during a global pandemic. Do yourself a favor and hire vendors who will make the process and the day less stressful....not more stressful. THINK VERY CAREFULLY ABOUT WHO YOU SELECT. Also, read reviews carefully. This vendor has numerous glowing reviews for her PHOTO-BOOTH on websites like weddingwire.com and theknot.com; that's what fooled us. If you check reviews of her work as a wedding photographer instead of photo-booth operator, I think you'll get a better understanding of what to expect from her photography. This was our experience. After our initial meeting, we could not get in contact with this Taja or her assistant Stephanie for nearly 3 weeks before the wedding. When we finally were able to get in touch, she declined to scout the ceremony or reception sites (even though she previously stated that she would), saying she was already very familiar with them. We took her at her word. Taja took very few shots of the bride getting ready and many of these shots were very grainy/hyper-sharpened. Stephanie took some good shots of the groomsmen getting ready. Our wedding planner was on edge and pretty blunt, but not demeaning. Most of the vendors remained professional and a few expressed concern later. After an incident during the first look, Taja began bad mouthing her after she left the room. This was in earshot of the bride and groom which was hard for the bride because the wedding planner is a personal friend. When it came to actually shooting the wedding party after the ceremony, Taja seemed to have trouble finding good spots to shoot and composing her shots at each location. When we brought up the photos we sent of locations and poses we wanted, she responded as though she had no idea what we were talking about (even though she had previously confirmed receipt of that message and those images). She ultimately brought us to a side alley outside of the church and proceeded to do the entire shoot there. So nothing with the wedding party at the alter or in front of the beautiful pillars in the sanctuary or by the beautifully carved and grandiose wooden front doors....just a side alley. When we told her that was not what we wanted she told us that she needed to head over to the reception and we could take more photos there. This was a bit bizarre because we were about 15 minutes ahead of schedule thanks to the pastor's conciseness. Unfortunately for us (again), she was 2 hours late for the reception (a 20 minute drive from the church). Yes, she told us she got lost trying to find a venue that she previously stated she was very familiar with. Stephanie was there on time so we started shooting with her while we waited for Taja. We told Stephanie that we wanted to start with the venue locations and poses we shared with Taja (Which again Taja had confirmed). Stephanie informed us very apologetically that Taja never shared any of that information with her. So we had to go over it all again. When Taja did finally arrive at the venue she came with excuses, not apologies. We weren't able to address this until later in the evening. When we expressed our displeasure, she defensively stated that she didn't even get a chance to get something to eat like she was promised. Which was even more problematic for us because we still had to pay for it. All the vendors were informed to bring questions or concerns to the wedding planner or event coordinator. She chose not to eat and then blamed it on us. She then complained about ALL of the venue lighting and ultimately offered a $50 discount. It wasn't until things were winding down that she told us that she was "more of a natural light photographer" and "preferred to shoot outdoors". After the wedding, it was very difficult to get a hold of Taja to find out when our photos would be ready. When she finally got back to us she told us 2 weeks. She missed that deadline. When we asked about that she said another two weeks. She missed that deadline. It took over 2 months to get all of our photos. The pictures we know Stephanie took (Groomsmen shoot, poses taken while Taja was running 2 hours late) were good. Most of the rest were very grainy, out of focus, washed out and/or over-processed. These are not usable when blown up larger than a thumbnail due to the poor image quality. I honestly wish Taja had missed our wedding and sent a replacement photographer like Belinda T. said she did for her in her comment. At least then an awful experience could have resulted in good photos. Fortunately, there were quite a few guests with a real knack for photography at the wedding. Their cellphone photos were a Godsend! Yes... you read that last sentence correctly.

I must say that one of the things I like most about Snapshot moments is not only the design of the print, but the quality of it as well. Its not cheap photo paper nor something of the level you print out at home. Its serious quality paper like if you were to get something printed at a storefront. Kimson also does an amazing job with designing creative templates. I used him for both my kid's birthday parties this year and of course it was a hit. I think my 4-yr-old is addicted to photobooths now. I've gonna to enough parties and weddings now to know a quality photobooth when I see it. Oh - not to mention that I like the concept of an "open air" booth. Its leaves more space for movement and getting lots of people in. I also prefer the 4x6 design/prints that he offers - instead of doing the typical smaller strips. I can't rave enough about SnapShots. Looking forward to using him again next year!
