I was sad to see that they got rid of the recycling program in March and got a lot of bad feedback to be more understanding realizing that this is not something that the store is responsible for it's something that was nationwide and they could still recycle your stuff but just no free product, which is unfortunate but you know I learned this the hard way the other day when I came in to recycle and they informed me that they could no longer give a free product. I was sad to hear this, of course but I would not retaliate against a company for something that they have no control over. It won't stop me from shopping here. I still left to come here every time I am in the area I always end up picking up something anyways, I recommend you don't know your shade get color matched. It takes only a few minutes and they will make sure that you leave with the perfect color. They could also color match you for concealer. Overall, my experience was awesome here the staff was amazing and I found a lot of new products. My favorite go to blush is warm so it's a bronzer and blush and one it's very pretty so I recommend next time you go in there check it out. It works for all shades and it's a very pretty color. Also, this is not my first make up artist I've hired so I have done this multiple times all without hiccups. My prior make up artists were in the bay area or LA area. This was the worst experience ever. I submitted a yelp submission back in October for my graduation ceremony on 12/14/23. The contact information has name, email, what type of an event, date of the event, phone number, location address. My email, phone number and location address are all correct. Shana wrote a draft response on 10/27/23 but left it in her drafts. She finally sent me a reply on 10/30/23. I reply same day on 10/30/23 asking for a 10:00 am appointment. Shana replies on 11/01/23 asking if I can do 11:00 am. I respond on 11/01/23 with a yes and ask if anything else is needed. Shana replies on 11/01/23 putting me down for 12/14 @ 11:00 am offering hair services as well. I response on 11/02/23 asking to please book both. I receive no response after. I email on 12/05/23 asking if she received my earlier email and asked for a confirmation of the make up session on 12/14. Shana emails me on 12/07/23 with time and date and finally rate. On the day of my appointment as I am getting ready to go to her studio she emails me on 12/14/23 saying she "assumed" I don't need services. I send three emails and have called but she did not answer. #1 My understanding is that a make up artist goes to the location address inputted. Also, prior make up artists I have hired have done so. But apparently not at this one. #2 If you really wanted to do make up at 11:00 am you would have answered the phone. It would have been better if you just were honest and told your clients you couldn't do their make up. #3 There are technology issues. Hiring an assistant or using a different way to schedule would work. Who knows how many others had issues like this. I find it odd there aren't any real recent reviews as well.
