Do not come here for a facial. Mistakes happen but find another medspa to give your business to if…read moreyou would like a place that takes accountability for their mistakes. I came here for a $175 hydrofacial which they "recommend to anyone needing to refresh before an event or special occasion" (their own words from their website). The esthetician said there would be no down time but I was left with scarring and hyperpigmentation. The owner, Stephanie, looked at it the following day and said the results were normal; it'll heal in a few days like a hickey. THEN she backtracked her answer to "you probably booked a service special." THEN she delegated fault to the esthetician because she's new. THEN she changed back to her original response when it actually wasn't some training promo. THEN Stephanie blamed my skin congestion to justify the esthetician's roughness. IF THE OWNER THINKS THIS IS NORMAL, IS THIS HAPPENING TO OTHER PEOPLE? The owner had no forethought to offer a refund nor to proactively provide services to fix any scarring and hyperpigmentation. Stephanie kept asking, "Well, what do you want us to do? You tell me." When I asked her what she'd do if this happened to her face. Her reply: "Nothing. I'd moisturize and put sunblock." I ended up asking for a refund and any products that could help with healing. "You want a refund? Fine, we can do that." She quickly left the room like she couldn't be bothered to talk to me. I'm including a picture of the tiny moisturizers she gave. Comparing it to a hickey, Stephanie said it would resolve in a few days. It has taken TWO WEEKS for my scarring and hyperpigmentation to even out. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A FACIAL.

Meant so much to me I started crying because i feel like I was Maybe looked down on or retaliated against by overbidding a procedure I really need revised that was done by a different plastic surgeon but I didn't feel Welcome When I left that persons office on my lunch break Something felt very off , and I guess the thing that really hurts me is the fact that they tried to scare me by telling me a horror stories about what would happen if I even snuck a cigarette in my nipples would turn black and fall off, and that which that could happen and I've stopped smoking before, so the office manager told me that besides the inevitable financial hardship that she doesn't think I'm gonna be able to come up with there is the Hardship and me being able to quit smoking she didn't see me being able to do those two things so she wasn't sure if I'd even be interested in getting a quote so I will not be going to that place in Little Rock to get mine done. I…read moredebated leaving a review, but after the reaction I experienced and the way my concerns were handled afterward, I feel like other clients should be aware. Following my appointment, I developed a severe reaction across the treated area. I was extremely red, covered in raised bumps/welts, white puss-filled bumps, and in enough pain that it genuinely hurt to walk. When I first reached out about what was happening, I felt like my concerns were immediately brushed off. I was told that they use the same wax on everyone, that this had never happened before, that none of her clients had ever complained about this, and that she had been waxing for over 10 years without an issue. Despite that, I was clearly having a significant reaction, so I initially offered to come in so they could see it in person.Rather than having me come in at that point, I was told to put hydrocortisone on the area. I was also asked if I had taken a hot shower, exfoliated, or used any products afterward. I explained that I had not exfoliated or applied products. The shower I took was the following night, more than a day after my appointment, and it was warm, not hot. At that point, I was already experiencing significant pain and irritation. Because of how severe the reaction was, I explained that I planned to have it evaluated and specifically asked for the names of product used during my appointment, which areas were waxed versus sugared, and requested a refund. It was only after I requested the refund that I was told I needed to come in so they could see the reaction. I pointed out that I had already offered to come in earlier, but instead had simply been told to use hydrocortisone. I was then told that I would have to come in for them to see it in order to receive the refund. At that point, I sent photos clearly documenting what my skin looked like. What was especially concerning was learning during this conversation that both waxing and sugaring had been performed during the same appointment. I originally called simply to ask what type of wax had been used on me, and during that call I was told that I had actually been both waxed and sugared. After repeatedly asking for the specific products used, I was eventually told they were Sugar Paste and Gigi Zinc Oxide Ultra Sensitive Wax. I was also told that the reaction appeared to be folliculitis and was sent a Google screenshot about folliculitis. However, I still was not given a clear explanation as to which areas had been waxed versus sugared, why both methods were used during the same appointment, or why I had not been made aware that both were being performed at the time of my service. I understand that skin reactions can happen and that everyone's skin is different. My biggest issue is how difficult it was to get straightforward information about exactly what products and methods had been used on my own body while I was experiencing such a painful reaction. I repeatedly asked for clarification in writing because I wanted an accurate record of what was used and information I could provide to a medical professional if necessary. I was instead asked to call so everything could be explained verbally. I was willing to come in to receive my refund and, again, had actually offered to come in before a refund was ever requested. However, after following up and explaining that several of my questions still had not been answered, my message was read without a response or acknowledgment. I gave the business multiple opportunities to address this privately before leaving a public review. I wasn't looking for an argument or expecting them to somehow undo the reaction. I wanted a refund, transparency about what was used on me, and a professional response to a legitimate concern. The reaction itself was awful, but the lack of clear communication afterward made the experience even more disappointing. I have photos documenting the reaction as well as the written conversation. Based on both my experience with the service and how my concerns were handled afterward, I personally would not return.

I also wanted to have my turkey neck addressed. In Consultation with Dr English , he also recommended the Baker Gordan chemical peel as well as plumping up my cheek area by using fat from my thigh. Additionally, as part of addressing the eyelids, some of the forehead skin was removed. I now look marvelous, and when I went to my DERMATOLOGIST for my yearly check up. She noticed the procedures on my face and she stated that the cosmetic surgeon did an excellent job with the care he had taken on the stitches. Dr English is one of the most thorough medical professionals that I have had the pleasure of being a patient. As an out-of-town patient, Dr English had a list of hotels that work with him. The hotels were listed with the most expensive at the top, moving down to more economical. At 8 o'clock in the evening on the day of my procedures, Dr English came to my hotel room for a brief visit to check how everything was going. As there were no difficulties, he explained he would be back the next morning to remove the bandages. Prior to my surgery however, there were other small things that made the experience more pleasant. Before the procedures there were written instructions explaining what would be happening and giving suggestions as to things you might want to have it at home for aftercare. Dr English also has a pharmacy that works with him in Little Rock. The pharmacy will call you at your home to get payment information as Dr English will have ordered all of the antibiotics, pain meds, any of the ointments/ creams that you will need for aftercare depending on the procedure(s) you have had. These pharmaceuticals are delivered to his clinic the morning of your surgery/ procedures. As this was such a delightful and rewarding experience and THE results of the procedures were so outstanding that strangers thought I was 30 or more years younger than my actual age, I decided to have follow up with a little bit of liposuction. Again, I couldn't be more pleased. It has only been four weeks since my liposuction and I have already lost 6 inches off of my waist and I do look so much better in my clothes. I have already had friends that are so impressed with the results of my procedures that two of them are planning procedures of their own. In fact, one person will be having their Baker-Gordan chemical peel tomorrow. Dr English also has a young lady that can mix make- up to match your skin. When I had mine mixed, it was such a perfect match, that even my friends could not tell when I put makeup on my face with the exception of my forehead. I do not see how any person could go wrong with Dr. Jim English. The end result will be phenomenal if you follow all of his directions, and it will be such a pleasant positive experience.
