She started off with a consultation and really took her time to ask me questions about what skin care issues I was having. I have dry, very sensitive skin & having major surgery last year I told her my skin, hair, and nails just have not bounced back. I had purchased a discounted treatment package after receiving a promotional text from the spa. I confirmed beforehand that I could use it at a later date. When I came in, the NP recommended a lower dosage, which I completely understood. However, I was told I would need to pay an additional $80 for a different package, despite having already paid for a higher dosage. They had accommodated a similar adjustment for me in the past without changing the price. After explaining this and asking several questions, they eventually agreed to honor my original purchase. I've had great experiences here before, and the NP today was wonderful. I'm glad the issue was eventually resolved, but the interaction left a bad impression. I don't think customers should have to push this hard to get clarity on something they've already paid for. My advice is to always ask questions if something about the pricing doesn't make sense.

I came in today , and immediately the front desk was trying to have me purchase additional extractions or a different type of facial that is more expensive , she said " you have acne this facial isn't suited for you" I told her kindly I actually don't have acne , I have a dermatologist and yes I do have acne scars but I have not a single active pimple or skin that needed many extractions . She said they would only do extractions on my nose and lips and I said that was perfect for me . They take me to the room and leave the room so I can change out of my shirt . MIND YOU THIS IS A 60 MINUTE FACIAL . I paid for a 60 minute facial which means I expect 60 mins worth of service . It took her 5 minutes to come back to the room . There was no sink for her to wash her hands and I didn't see her put on hand sanitizer . She washed my face and then applied an exfoliator that felt like tree hut scrub . She then left the room for 10 more minutes at this point we have only gotten to exfoliation and she already hasn't been on the room for 15 minutes ..... she comes back and puts this ultrasonic device that is usually used for extractions , she put no pressure and no extractions nor dead skin was taken off . She then gives me the shittiest facial massage . No technique , no pressure , just slathering thick cream on my face this goes on for about 10 minutes and then she slathers a mask on me and leaves for the rest of the appointment . I laid there for 15-20 mins just wondering where she left . Usually during a mask , estheticians will find something to do like a scalp massage or anything really that is providing a service in that downtime . She comes back takes off the mask and this point I'm really upset . I try to walk out the door , and the front desk harassed me about a tip I told her it was the worse facial I have ever received I will definitely not be tipping . Not only am I going to dispute this with my bank but I am absolutely reporting this place to the board of Estheticians. There is no way this lady went though any formal training .
