When I contacted Jessica with my idea, we hit it off right away brainstorming ideas for the shoot. She set up a wardrobe and styling consult beforehand to see what outfits worked best for my body type. Ultimately, we decided on a Marilyn Monroe style red dress. Very glamorous! The day of the shoot, Jessica had a professional hair and makeup artist on hand transforming me into a jaw dropping vintage pin-up girl. I have never felt as beautiful as I did the day of my shoot. Also, Jessica had me laughing and having a great time which made gorgeous pictures. I highly recommend Jessica Milligan Photography.

I can only speak directly to going to an event I discovered was being held here. For some…read morebackground, I know the owners from middle and high school. Both were in classes with me at some point and I wasn't exactly forgettable + look pretty much the same as I did then. The company I'm a beauty ambassador for had a pop up event in Charlotte and I came from NYCcto bring my mother, sister and oldest niece since they're all natural redheads and the company is focused on creating products and space for redheads where that's not really been a thing. When I found out the event was here, I was hoping I'd see one of the owners at some point but I didn't. The space itself is quite nice and definitely had that feeling of being at a NYC event. I'm not sure if there's air conditioning here or not but if you have a large crowd you may want to consider having a fan or cooling for guests. My sister had to leave earlier since she has some health issues and it got a little cramped for her. However, I opted to stay and have my family pick me up later. I got the opportunity to go to the retail space that's also part of the complex and chatted with a very nice woman named Sydney about the event, the company and my connection to the owners. Since I don't live here I'm not in a good position to return but if you live in Charlotte, you should check them out and know that they also respect natural redheads.
