I've been here twice on the way home. The inside is completely different, all the old fixtures are gone. So far I have tried the pizza and tamales, and they taste good and are easy to heat up. The clerk at night is super friendly and helpful. They told me they want the old customers to come back and visit their new store. https://honeybird.market/ It's across the street from Lincoln Park on High St. Support Local Business!

Love that they are non-toxic and even some are organic. I recently started my non-toxic journey and Re-Up is definitely a great place to start. Tips for if you've never shopped at a refillery: they have scales so you can weigh the container (either that you buy from them or bring in your own empty or not empty), stick a piece of tape to container and wright the weight (before you fill their products). This way, when they weigh the container at checkout, they will subtract the weight you wrote down so you only pay what you filled there. If you are at their spice and powdered items, they have clean scoops you can use and make sure to place them in the used spot after use. Below the scale next to that spices and powdered area, there are rags you can use to clean up your container or counter if you spilled anything. There are actually 3 scales around the stores. And they have a rewards program where you can get a card that the cashier can mark every time you make a purchase.

Found it a little odd that there was a guy in street clothes just working on a laptop in there esp since they say no cell phones. Hot tub is very small but heated pool is nice. Outdoor fireplaces and chairs as well. Reception area isn't confusing like some have mentioned. When you enter, there is a check in desk straight ahead. They DO tell you to bring a swimsuit if you check your voicemail. But also, who doesn't check spa amenities before you go. Tips Signage isn't great - Spa is past the main hotel building (turn right and follow signs to self parking) Make sure you check your locker combo before you lock it. I didn't and then didn't know what it was and had to ask for help. I do think individual keys would be easier just bc I'm the type of person to forget which locker number I am

Unfortunately as I was pulling in the manager called the let me know my masseuse had called in sick and they could only rebook my massage to start 1.5 hours after the original time. Unfortunately the matcha was out of stock, but I opted for another green tea and the crab cake. It was raining the day I was there so I didn't end up using the pool. I really like my facial with Ruth. She was amazing and had lovely energy. I would definitely rebook. My massage was okay, but despite a few requests for more pressure, I was told that was the max she could do. I have had a lot of massages, but have never encountered that before

Generally, Walgreens is my preferred drugstore. But since I have moved, the one closest to (on…read moreAlhambra Ave). has a really hard time getting things right. I usually place my order via the app. I have had them show up without items, and then tell me I can come pick it up at the store if I want it. When I order things to be picked up, its not ready. And tonight, my delivery was supposed to come at 7:30. At 9:00, I hadn't even gotten a text so I went to the on line chat and was told the store was still processing my order and I could call them to check on it. So I called. Too bad the store was already closed. Good thing my order just included house hold items and not medicine. Although, last week my son was waiting and waiting for days to get an update on his prescription. When he finally called, they said they couldn't process it without more information...why didn't they notify him of that they needed more information?! Clearly the managers don't take pride in the store or they would require the employees to do more than a half-assed job. I upgraded my rating to two stars because I called about my order this morning, and spoke to a lovely, polite lady about my order. She was very concerned that there was a problem and apologetic. At first she couldn't find any reference to the order so I said I would place it again. But a few minutes later, she called back and said she found the order and would fill it right away. She was very friendly and that made a huge difference. The few clerks that I have interacted with have generally been indifferent and non-caring. Customer interaction matters!

Fast forward to THIS YEAR, I did the same process on 12/22 for a Christmas gift. Received a call that evening saying my order was going to be canceled for a stock issue, but they could keep my order in until they get the correct stock item. I decided to keep my order in, and just ship it out when it was ready to be picked up. Then 12/23, I get a confirmation text saying my order was ready for pickup. Strange.... But alright. I left town to surprise my mom early for Christmas, and didn't think anything of the photo item when I left as I was told it would be put on hold/cancelled due to stock.... Great. I get back in town on Monday, 12/29 , and go to the photo department 12/30. They have no idea what I'm talking about, cannot find my order, and even goes as far to tell me they "do not sell that item, I believe" and when I pull the item off of THEIR photo display in store, the worker is speechless. I told the gentleman I'd just reorder and/or call tomorrow to figure out what's going on. Today, 12/31, I placed an order for a different item altogether. Figured maybe that will avoid the stock issue. Order is in. Ready for pickup after 12:55. I get a call at 1:45 from this dogshit photo department telling me they do not have this item in stock, either. I flashed on this idiot and told her to cancel my order and I will never do my business here again. Lazy fucking assholes!!!! Nobody wants to do their damned jobs. I was very excited to give this as a gift, and you incompetent fucks ruined Christmas.

Thank god I don't have regular medical issues to need to shop at a pharmacy regularly. I came in…read morehere to find a specific OTC nasal spray after my husband's surgery, after checking both of the nearby grocery stores with no luck (partly because Safeway now has their entire pharmacy section behind glass). About 50% of the aisles here are behind glass, and it's absolute chaos. The same exact medicine in the same exact box will be both behind glass and not behind glass in different sections of the same aisle. Different formulations of the same thing, different sizes, name brand or generic, there's no logic whatsoever as to what's behind glass and what isn't, or even what section of the aisle something is in. I found the same medicine on opposite ends of the same aisle, both behind glass and not in both sections. So you're left trying to compare the ones you can get without calling over the *one employee in the store* to open it for you. You're scrounging the entire aisle, looking at the fine print on every product to see if it's just another brand's equivalent name for what you're looking for, comparing prices and added ingredients on everything. Trying to decide whether the one you can just pick up off the shelf is the one you want or whether it's worth calling over the employee to open the shelf for you so that you can even look at the other options. And then I got a headache and just bought the cheapest one I could pick up off the shelf. Good thing I already have headache medicine at home, not sure I'd survive trying to find it here. I'm never coming back.
