When I stepped into my first appointment ever with Dr. Christopher Fabricant, he made me feel at ease and comfortable right away. After he did my initial examination, he sat down with me and thoroughly went over every detail regarding my upcoming surgery. Not only did he explain the issues that needed to be fixed, he went through several options, outlining them with diagrams and notes, and gave me the breakdown of what would be involved with each option so that I could make an informed decision. A few weeks later, I went to my follow-up appointment and pre-surgery work up, accompanied by my daughter. Dr. Fabricant eased my daughter's concerns by once again being sure to explain every step of the process and having a sit down in his office to go through every option and scenario. My daughter and I both felt that he gave us all the resources and information needed so that on the day of the surgery we were completely prepared and knew what to expect. Once we checked in on the day of the surgery, I was taken back to the pre-op area to get my work up. Dr. Fabricant once again checked in, along with all the other providers involved in my surgery, and each took a thorough history to ensure that they were not missing any important information involving my care. After my extensive surgery was complete, Dr. Fabricant greeted my family, explained in detail the entire operation, and answered any and all questions that my family had. After spending hours in the waiting room, they truly felt the entire experience was made better by speaking with Dr. Fabricant, who assured and comforted them. Dr. Fabricant is an outstanding surgeon, but he takes it beyond that. He is obviously adept at what he does, but the fact that he takes the time to show empathy and advocate for his patients' confidence and ease proves that he is the best in his profession. I would not have wanted my surgery and recovery in the hands of anyone else, and consider it a blessing that I found Dr. Fabricant. He deserves all 5 stars and more. read more

Dr. Fabricant is an excellent doctor that I would without hesitation highly recommend. During my initial consultation with him, he presented me with a complete and thorough explanation of my diagnosis and my surgical and non-surgical options. (Posting for my mom) I have been suffering from chronic pain in my lower pelvic region for over 4 years. I went from doctor to doctor, in various specialty areas trying to find out where this pain was coming from. Not one doctor was able to help me until I met the amazing Dr. Fabricant. The first day that I met him he assured me that he can help, explaining that he is familiar with this kind of pain and knows the steps we need to take next. He suggested laparoscopic surgery to remove the uterus (being that the pain was much worse 10 days before menstruation) and explore the area to make sure there wasn't anything else going on. The surgery took 8 hours, but within reason! He found multiple problems in the area and was able to address all of them. I had a laparoscopic done at a different hospital in 2014 that took 2 hours, but those doctors couldn't find my problem. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Fabricant. I had needed a bladder sling surgery for over 3 years but kept postponing. I saw another obgyn originally for the bladder testing, but she didn't question that it was excruciatingly painful when it shouldn't be. Dr. Fabricant was intent to find out why--and he did. He found that my uterus was pushing up against the bladder, making it unable to expand or fill, and therefore recommended a partial hysterectomy as well. When it came time for the surgery, he was meticulous. My surgery ended up being longer/more complex than originally anticipated because he found internal scar tissue that he worked to clean out, fixed a bowel hernia, and fixed urethral damage--in addition to doing the bladder sling and partial hysterectomy. I have no doubt that if I went with the first dr, she would've done a bladder sling surgery and I would've been none the wiser, and would've still battled pain/discomfort/frequent urination, etc. Dr. Fabricant and his staff have been nothing short of amazing since day 1 and I am immensely grateful that he has given me a new lease on life! read more

I have PCOS and endometriosis. I had gone to another doctor regarding my urinary problem (he thought my urethra had to be reopened) and they quickly scheduled surgery that would not have solved my problem. I went to Dr. Fabricant for a second opinion. We talked about my health history, he examined me and then stated the possibilities that might be going on. Then, the surgery was scheduled and Dr. Fabricant stated because of another surgeon I went to years ago had burned my endometriosis and ovarian cysts, I had so much scar tissue that it bound my intestines and bladder together. So, my bladder couldn't expand i frequented the bathroom every half hour. I now frequent 4-6hrs. Dr. Fabricant is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and empathetic. Dr. Fabricant works for his patients. He is a very thorough surgeon. Prior to seeing him I saw a nurse practitioner and a Dr. in my OBGYN office. I was complaining about a constant pressure in my lower abdomen/pelvic area. I was prescribed Intrarosa Prasterone for vaginal dryness. (this was not my problem). Needless to say it did not help my situation. By the end of the day I was worn down by the constant pressure so I decided to see what Dr. Fabricant had to say. I had a very lengthy surgery.(hysterectomy and scar tissue release) Well, it turns out that every hour spent in the OR was well worth it. I no longer have that annoying pressure! I feel 200% better. Dr Fabricant is the best very thorough & knowledgeable & caring. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy on 8/20/18 that he performed (took overt 7 hrs). I was having a lot of pain prior to operation. On my 1st visit to his office, after performing numerous tests, he diagnosed my problems. It's been 7 weeks post op & I have returned to all my normal activities (which includes running some biking). I'm very fortunate that I found him ( referral from my gynecologist). His staff is fantastic & caring. My husband thanks him too as he had to go through a lot to help me prior to the operation. Dr. Fabricant is an excellent urologist/gynecologist. He answered all of mine and my husband's questions in great detail, making us both feel very comfortable. He takes his time discussing medical options with each patient AND takes his time with their surgeries because he cares about each and every one of us. I'm 6 weeks post-op and feeling so much better than I've felt in a long time. I'll be going back to Dr. Fabricant again if I have another uro/gynecology issue. He is extremely thorough and patient when it comes to examining you, and explaining his findings, as well as treatment options. Dr. Fabricant and his team are the best! I went to him by recommendation of my regular OB/GYN for treatment of a fibroid. He listened to me explain my symptoms and I felt completely understood. After an exam and a couple of tests, we decided that surgery was the best option to relieve my symptoms and pain. He gives you a complete and thorough exam then spends time with you explaining what the surgery would entail, what your recovery time would be and even draws a diagram of the surgical site and explains your options.
