He did, brought them up front we made the $85 purchase of our items and I started to put the boards in back of our truck, one broke at a knot so I proceeded back in to the store to get a replacement. I asked Justin if I could have a replacement and he makes a "disgusted noise" as if it was a ridiculous question and I was taking too much of his time, then he proceeds to tell me that, "Wood is not a warrantied product." Then asked me what I'm doing with it? The fact that it doesn't matter what I'm doing with the items I purchase or the fact that I've built custom homes for most of my adult life until I retired. Seriously! I hadn't even left the parking lot. Let alone for the simple fact that I specifically asked for 2 decent trim boards! I don't care if Justin is a manager. His response to me was uncalled for and rude. I realize we aren't considered "locals" even though we own a home here in Sturgis and are from out of state. We spend 3 weeks here during the rally and come in the off season to work on our house for a couple weeks. We will be finding another venue for the rest of our house needs. Vickie Costello

Upon returning home, I realized that the 2x I purchased was actually a 3x. The shirt itself was packed into the wrong packaging. Called the manager up there and she didn't even question it. I took my laptop in to see if the charging port might need to be replaced. They told me all they…read morecould do is replace the whole mother board and that would cost at least $500. I talked to my brother afterward and he looked at it and said he can fix it for me. I understand they need to make money but they charged $70 to look at my laptop and tell me they can't fix it unless they replace half of it. On top of that I am quite sure they tightened a screw too tight because I noticed a crack right where a screw was and there is a missing screw as well. My laptop was not in good shape to begin with but I am quite sure it wasn't cracked there before and I don't recall it missing any screws prior to taking it in. Maybe you'll have better luck there but I will not be going back. *side note* I was informed there would be a $70 charge to take my computer apart so see what the problem was and I went ahead and said that was ok. My issue with that was later I took it apart so my brother could look at it and give me a second opinion and after doing that myself I feel that $70 was a very high charge for something that really wasn't very difficult.

Stayed in Deadwood a couple weeks ago & spent a few days walking the town, shopping, etc. This is the one place we came back to a couple times... probably didn't hurt they have really good ice cream too. Much of the stuff you can find at any of the shops up & down Main St., but this place definitely has a few unique & rare finds (see attached photo). Even if you don't buy anything (besides the ice cream of course), it's a fun place to browse & chat w/ the owners about the area. The lady that sold me my souvenir in the picture (I think) was the owner & very friendly & informative... not just the history, but stuff for out of towner's to do as well. You could tell she enjoyed interacting w/ customer/tourists. When my 12 y/o & I saw this work of art, we were mesmerized... boys & their toys. There were only 2 (different styles), but she told us she'd never sold one... until me... & only $180 (how could I not come home w/ this beauty for less than $200). Once she rang us up, she realized since she never sold one, she wasn't sure what to pack it in... don't exactly want to go traipsing through the streets w/ this flung over my shoulder. Back home now & every relative, friend & neighbor I've shown this too has been in awe... I wish now I'd bought both.
