But will take about 3 weeks to get here & I have a project I've been itching to do for weeks already! So Mr. Nick was great in knowing what I meant when asking for an external spool holder & grabbed me one, showed me the best way to position it. I thought I'd have to drop my machine off in order for them to order the part but they did! So I get an instant temporary fix to hold me over then the top notch full service & repair once the part comes in!!!! I've not too often left an establishment this overly excited about the service AND goods sold!!!! They seem to do everything here!!!! I love it! Will be a consistent returning customer! I was impressed that some of the vendors had tags that said "vintage" and also "NOT vintage". I have never seen that before. A lot of vendors will try to fill their "vintage" booths with a mix and pass it all off. It helped build my trust in the vendors there. Pricing was surprisingly fair, depending on the vendor. No restrooms for customers. Music was glitching the entire time we were there, cutting in and out. Would have rather had it off altogether. We bought a cute little brass owl that we love. We made an offer on a larger piece that was below what the vendor had marked it. We were leaving town the next day and by the next day still hadn't heard back. Tried calling before we left and it went to a voicemail that was full. Called again from the road and someone answered, but then I guess set the phone down (?) for a while... I ended up hanging up because it had been a WHILE. She ended up calling me back to tell me the offer was not accepted and I said ok, thanks for letting us know. It's a cute store but some weird vibes. I think vendors will miss out on sales based solely on the customer experience in the shop. It doesn't really want to make you stay long enough to walk the whole building, and that's going to make you miss out on potentially really cool and reasonably-priced finds.

I loaded the chair up and drove to the Bert Kouns locations, explained my concern to the manager. The price tag now says $349.99 and I think she could easily see that I did not mistake that price for $108. She immediately said she would sell it to me for the sale price and refunded the original transaction and did a new one at the sale price. I was very pleased that there was no hassle or attitude. I even bought some more plants. This is how a store should do business. This was my original review: I cannot get anyone on the phone at the satellite location on E. Bert Kouns or their main store. 2 weeks ago, I was at their E. Bert Kouns location and purchased a large number of plants, dirt, and a white plastic wicker rocker that was marked $108. Nice young man scanned a tag but it was for a brown one so he got a ticket off a white one and scanned it. We discussed that it was $108.00 Their credit card and signature machine was stationed at a distance so I couldn't see it properly, but I knew about what I'd spent and signed away. Cleaning out my purse yesterday I came across the receipt and saw that I was charged $262.49 for the $108.00 rocker!!! I never would have paid that for it. The tags ALL said $108.00. Before I load it up and take it back for a refund, I wanted to talk to someone about this. I don't know if they have since shut down for being "non-essential" of if they're just not answering their phones. I am keeping an open mind until I can discuss this with someone and hope to find out that it was just an innocent mistake. I will update whenever I can get more info. I really don't want to get out in the chaos unless I have to.
