I was so mad I just dropped what I had and left. if you're a woman alone, shop somewhere safe.

They had a little area for classes, where it looked like a private lesson was going on; but I couldn't find any information on upcoming classes. It would've been nice if they'd had that posted somewhere in the store. A tip: When you check out, do not let them put your purchases in one of their plastic bags!! Geeez!! They smell really bad like mice!!!!!! And it was a little uncomfortable being told that their restrooms are only for customers - I mean, when someone comes in your store - someone who appears and smells respectable, speaks in a respectful manner, and - is obviously not a vagrant, - and you say that to them.... I gotta tell you, it kinda makes them want to just leave, even if they had originally planned to spend quite a lot of money in your store. Just saying.

The owners, Ralph and Cynthia, are very friendly, knowledgeable, and offer the years of experience you won't find at your run-of-the-mill craft store. I really cannot recommend this business highly enough. Great folks, great building (it used to be a mortuary! - eek!), great art supplies and great karma for you from shopping locally.
