I have used Caitlyn about a half dozen times, I go out of town semi-regularly and have 2 very socially oriented cats. They usually hate when I leave, and previously I had a friend check on them if I left overnight, but with mixed results (they defecate inappropriately when stressed). However, with Caitlyn my cats are always happy, well brushed, and well taken care of. Not only is Caitlyn excited about her job, she is very professional. I love the daily emails and updates, she took copious notes the first time I met her, and asked many questions. She is incredibly helpful and accommodating to my needs, she was even able to schedule us over the holidays at the last minute.I feel very safe and confident leaving my boys under her care and will highly recommend her to anyone who will listen. read more

Fab Pet Care - Winston and Hermes after Caitlyn watches them: happy and relaxed! - Dog Walkers Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Caitlyn and Fab Pet Care has been our go-to catsitter for the past year, and she has always been reliable and accommodating. She treats our cats well and gives them plenty of love. Caitlyn does a great job at making us feel like our pets are in good hands. She sends a daily email update each day with times and status. We know our one cat is pretty shy and hides when were gone--Caitlyn finds her and makes sure she has food. We also ran into an emergency situation recently, and she was able to stop in to check on the cats without much notice. If you need a petsitter, Fab Pet Care is the best choice for Center City. read more

I have never used a pet sitting service before so I was very nervous about trusting a stranger with my cat (who also had recent medical problems), but I was completely wowed by Caitlyn and her team. She came to my apartment beforehand and sat down with me discussing my cats needs and taking thorough notes, she was sure to ask which vet he sees if there were any problems. She answered all my questions and was very helpful. It was very comforting to get an email daily to let me know how my kitty was doing and even once a picture of him (my cat is very shy and she somehow had him up getting cuddles!) ! I felt my cat was in very good hands the entire time. I will absolutely use their services again! read more

Caitlyn watched my pets two times. During her inital visit she takes copious notes about the food, litter, key situation She asked questions I hadn't thought about. ...location of favoriate toys, treats... I appreciate she sends an email each day with a brief update. I feel comfortable with Caitlyn caring for my two cats and apartment. I've already made two new bookings. I honestly recommend her. read more

I've used Fab Pet Care three times, and after what happened the last time, I would never use them again. I hired them for 15-minute visits with my cats from June 1-July 7, 2017. My best friend visited on July 2 just to play with the cats, and discovered that their water bowl was empty. I was thousands of miles away, deeply concerned about the welfare of my cats, and there was nothing I could do. Caitlyn's response to my emails was passive aggressive, which only made things worse. I realize that in my initial email I probably came across as aggressive, but if I were a business owner with empathy, I'd understand that a worried pet parent would be out of their mind in a situation like that, and try to diffuse the situation with some compassion and understanding. No. I literally had to beg for her to show compassion, and to take my concern seriously. She said the sitter she hired said the water bowl was full, thus implying my friend was lying. My friend is a stable, responsible person who has nothing to gain from lying to me. Then Caitlyn said the cats could have drank all the water in a single day. I had my cats for years in Texas, with hot brutal summers, and even on the days when the AC was not working, the cats never drank the bowl dry if it had been filled. I lost all trust in Caitlyn and Fab Pet Care, and I don't think I can ever trust any cat sitting service anymore. If you do use this service, I hope you have a camera that monitors and records activity in your home, so you can verify with your own eyes if they are doing what they promise. I waited almost a year to post this review because the experience was so upsetting, I didn't want to rehash it by writing about it. But now, as I prepare to leave on another trip (fortunately I have a trustworthy sitter), I feel it's not right for what happened to not be Yelped about. Also, I didn't want to have to deal with the type of snippy reply that I've seen Caitlyn leave on other negative comments. Looking back, all it would have taken from Caitlyn would have been an apology and a promise that this would never happen again, but instead I was gaslighted. I've attached screenshots of emails to document the exchange we had. I don't give one star lightly, but after a lot of thought this experience I had warrants one star. Though she finally offered a resolution, there was never any admission of wrongdoing or any apology. read more

Caitlin took good care of my cat while I was out of town and I really appreciated the daily updates. She also brushed her and played with her, which I thought was really nice. I'd definitely recommend Fab and will happily use them again. Only (very minor) complaint is that my tiny apartment had quite a bit of litter tracked everywhere since I usually sweep it up when I'm home. Overall great service though and my cat was safe, well-fed, and very happy! read more

Caitlyn was wonderful. We needed a cat sitter last minute over Christmas time and she was accommodating and available, she came by that night to meet us and the kitties. I returned home after almost two weeks to find my cats (the most social creatures I've ever met) happy, well brushed, well fed, and taken care of. Caitlyn emailed every day, kept me updated, and even sent a photo once. An added note: my cats were having problems not using the litter box, which started when I moved, and started a new, more demanding job. I have gone away for a weekend and friends have stopped in to check on them and 90% of the time there was poop and sometimes even cat pee on the couch. Caitlyn took such good care of them that they only had one accident the whole 13 days I was gone. I am amazingly impressed and I will definitely hire her again in a heart beat. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. But unfortunately, I can't. I hired Fab Pet Care to look after my cat while I was away on vacation. They were bad about responding to emails and I had to contact them multiple times to get a response. And I came home to four lights being left on and my apartment door left OPEN. Not just unlocked, but OPEN. As if they couldn't even be bothered to fully close the door, let alone lock it. It made me wonder if my apartment was ever locked up at all. Thankfully, I live in a nice building and nothing was stolen from my apartment that I have noticed and my cat was still inside and didn't leave. I will never use Fab Pet Care again. Would not recommend them. read more

I share many of the same complaints as some of the other posters who gave 1-Star reviews. On several occasions I've gone days without updates on my pet (despite clear instructions asking for daily updates and multiple forms of communication details given) and have often had to send Caitlyn emails inquiring about if my pet was even visited. On one occasion her employee claimed no key was left for him despite the fact that I live in a building with a doorman who always has an extra key AND the fact that I had left my key. I only found this out by contacting Caitlyn multiple times - the employee never reached out to say he believed he was unable to get into my building - so had I not asked if the service I paid for was complete I wouldn't have been informed that it was not. Aside from this I've come home to my pets water bowl being basically empty despite clear written instructions to fill it daily and unscooped litter boxes. At best Caitlyn is defensive, never apologetic, and can border on rude and unprofessional. After my most recent terrible experience I will never use this service again and do not recommend it to anyone. read more

Excellent care of my pet! Was emailed daily to tell me how he was doing!! I would recommend this service to any of my friends with animals that need to leave town for a few days! read more

Fab Pet Care is the absolute best cat sitting service we have ever used (and we've tried quite a few). Caitlyn is extremely professional and you can immediately tell that she really loves her job. She has followed the directions for our very particular cats perfectly. When we travel we have absolutely zero concerns because we know that our cats are getting the best of care. read more

Caitlyn and the team at Fab Pet Care are fantastic! They offer a wide variety of really reasonably priced services, and will even e-mail you updates when you're out of town. In our consultation meeting with Caitlyn, she was so thorough and really took the time to meet our cats. 5 stars all the way! read more

Caitlyn walked my dog on a semi-regular basis like when I had a busy week at work, etc. She was awesome! Very professional, timely, and sent me an adorable email (sometimes with pictures) each time she took my dog for a walk. She was available on short notice and her prices are competitive with other dog-walkers in the city. She was able to handle my medium-sized, former shelter-dog easily. She comes highly recommended! read more

Getting ready to go out of town recently we were faced with a dilemma as our usual sitter was no longer providing services. I turned to yelp and found Caitlyn who was great. I was able to email with her to set up the appointments and she was available even given the semi late notice. Our cat took to her immediately upon meeting which was great. I definitely plan on using her the next time we are both out of town. Her services are well priced and she emails you after each visit which gave a crazy cat lady like me peace of mind while away from my sweet kitty. read more

Booked some more Fab over Memorial Day weekend, when Krim was home alone for about five days. Her needs are few, but they appear to've been met admirably while I was away - because she didn't resort to tearing apart the house. read more

We have used Fab Pet Care multiple times and we are always pleased!!! From the moment Caitlyn walked in we were so impressed. Her professionalism and attention to detail were amazing. We were gone more than 10 days at one point and felt so confident that everything would be fine with Caitlyn and her team caring for our cats. Thank you Caitlyn and your team for the superb care, the daily emails and your professionalism. read more

Caitlyn provides a great service. Daily updates, easy to communicate with, reliable, and clearly loves animals! So glad to have finally found a great pet sitter for when I'm out of town. read more

Caitlyn is fantastic. We had never boarded our dog or left her anywhere else except with our folks, no need to do that anymore. Caitlyn sends detailed updates via email every day, keeps great notes on what your pet does and does not like, and just all around puts us at ease when we are away. It's gotten to the point when we come home after being away for a weekend that our dog seems slightly upset Caitlyn is not walking in with us. :-) Highly, highly recommend using Caitlyn and Fab Pet Care! read more

It certainly was not easy having strangers in our condo to take care of our cat. For years a close friend took care of our cat while we were gone. Caitlyn and her team were terrific. She took so many notes on her visit and we received an email every day to let us know our pet was visited. read more

Finally! A good dog walking service that gets the job done professionally! I would highly recommend them to anyone no matter what kind of dog you have. My Dog's big and a bit goofy so he can sometimes be a little difficult to walk. Caitlyn from Fab has been great with him! I've tried other dog walkers but none of them have been very reliable. Fab has been walking "my baby" for about two months now and they have never missed or cancelled a walk. They're great at communicating and working around your schedule. They even helped me out at the last minute last week when I unexpectedly couldn't make it home from work until late. I couldn't recommend them more! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Caitlyn and the entire team at Fab Pet Care. I was in a huge bind on a two week vacation and our dog sitter fell through 2 days into the trip! I got in touch with Caitlyn and she took care of everything! I got a really nice summary after each dog visit via email, letting me know how everything was going with my pup. The price was very fair for the top notch service I received. I strongly recommend to anyone in the Philly area. Thank you again Caitlyn! read more

Let me start by saying Caitlyn is GOD SENT! We almost lost my dog. The fact that she got up out of her bed, drove across town the day after a snow storm with the road messy as ever to take My husband, my Nore'(my dog) & I to the pet hospital still amazes me. I can't thank her & FPC enough she genuinely cares about animals & has a heart of gold. Your animals will be in great hands with her I will definitely use her services again read more

The worst and least reliable pet sitting company in the philadelphia area. Somehow Caitlin is always "sick" and rarely responds to emails when I am simply asking whether or not my animal is being cared for. It's absurd to ignore a paying customer and worried pet owner. She often forgets when I've cancelled appointments and I've had her clients walk into my house when I was home - not the employees fault, the management should be communicating better. I would NOT recommend using this service at ALL read more

We love Fab Pet Care! Being a full fledged crazy cat lady, I was worried to leave my cats on their own while I was out of town. Caitlyn was so great to send me email updates which made me feel much more at ease while away. She was easy to get in contact with, friendly and has great rates. Definitely recommend! read more

Caitlyn and crew are always great with my cats and were incredibly flexible and patient with my senior kitty. I can't recommend them enough.

Caitlyn was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. I have strict, detailed directions for my sensitive pup and they were followed well. There were a few minor things where she needed reminders but it was never a problem after I mentioned it. Only once or twice was the backup walker used. I would highly recommend Caitlyn and Fab Pet Care if you need a flexible schedule and have a dog that needs any special attention or instructions. read more
