Food and drinks are available on board, and we saw some people ordering food. Personally, I think the ride is a little too short to really enjoy a full meal, but grabbing a drink and enjoying the scenery is perfect. Everything was easy and enjoyable, and it was a nice activity to add to our time in Zell am See. Definitely worth doing if you want to experience the lake from the water! Pet friendly: Dogs are allowed on the Schmitten boats, which makes this a great activity when traveling with your pet.

Their foray into the world of online app geotracking, automated picture taking and crowdsourced competion needs a little more work (compared to say Epic's colorado resorts install) but works decently, just needs more coverage and timed race courses.

It's an area good for beginners. Intermediate skiers would probably want to take the chair lift up to the red slopes. It's convenient (especially for families) to stay at the hotel with a Ski in- ski out location. Just to make it clear St Johann in Tirol is not for advanced skiers. Then you would probably like to go somewhere else as for example Kizbühel. Arriving at the hotel I was welcomed with a complimentary drink. The service was good. I was a bit disappointed when the massage was fully booked. Anyway the wellness and fitness area with both regular sauna and steam bath was really nice. The Indoor pool was also large enough to use for swimming, especially when I was almost alone there for the most of the time (this might be because of that the families already left at that time). The dinner buffet was huge and was actually a little hard to find what you wanted just because there were so many options. More signs with directions might have been good. One thing they were really clear about was that they didn't want you to wear slippers or t-shirt in the restaurent. The food was included in the price but drinks had to be paid for. If the price were right I would probably come back, but for me I think there is better deals elsewere in the area.
