We had a water main break on a Saturday while out of town. A relative was able to shut off the water to the house until we were able to get home. Long story short, DH found USA Pipe Repair, a small family owned business, who was able to deliver a quote, get Miss Utility to come out and locate the underground lines, obtain the needed permit from the County and drill a new water pipe without tearing (trenches pipe repair!) up my yard and restore water service to my house all in the same day! The entire drilling process and reconnection of water took less than 2 hours! Amazing! We are delighted with their work and with commitment to restoring our water service as quickly as possible and without tearing up my yard and driveway to do it! They worked us into an already busy day to help us. You just do not get that kind of commitment from many companies.

They sort of discounted the map immediately "they are not always accurate". They said they could not find the D-Box and I needed to OK a $350 charge to use the snake camera. This is the same camera that other plumbers have used in my homes to check for cracks, clogs, etc...for free. Turns out the D-Box was located EXACTLY where the map showed it to be. So, I paid $350 for them to use a camera (that others use for free) to locate the D-box that was located exactly where the map I provided them said it would be. That hurts a bit.

He wants us to live in this property so that we can save money. The property was built in 1952 so the lighting here is terrible. Just a couple of windows. We got quotes for up to $100 for just a visit to our home. Ridiculous. Anyhow my hubby found Ace Electric & they were able to get someone to come out and give us a quote the very next day. (Charge free) After they gave us the quote they actually had some guys finish work the same day! So the guys came and out started to put in our recess lighting. Cayman & Ray were awesome. Very professional. And they worked at a great pace. They did the living room and our kitchen! Took about 4 hours for each room. Did a really beautiful job & their work gave our property such a face lift. When the tenants move out of the other side of our duplex my husband will use them again to install more recess lighting.

Beware! Now that Brockwell's is a Wind River Company....Wind River does not operate with the same…read morelevel of service as Brockwell's. They are just another huge corporation that's acquired a local company that doesn't care about their customers. I have screenshots from their website when I booked my septic pumping that show 01-06 inches of digging is free yet, when the invoice came, I was charged $51.50 for 01-06 inches of digging. I've been calling for TWO WEEKS trying to resolve the issue with the invoice & customer service can seemingly do nothing. They "file a ticket" & say I'll receive a callback...yet no one ever calls back. This should be a simple, straightforward issue to resolve but they clearly just don't care. I've also had to wait on hold 20+ minutes whenever I've called customer service. My experience with Wind River has been extremely frustrating and again, not at all the same experience I had with Brockwell's when it was still locally-owned the last time I had my septic tank pumped. I would not recommend using Wind River because if you have any issues, they certainly do not seem to care enough to fix them!
