We had J and S do some work for us in the past and they couldn't have been better. So we decided…read morethat since they were so good before, we'd call them again. We called about getting a new central air unit and was told they were very busy and couldn't get to us til end of March. It's now April and we never even got a phone call explaining if they were still coming or just not going to show up ever. We wasted all that time waiting on J and S to come when we could have been in touch with another company. Now we have to start all over again and it's getting hot really fast. Very disappointed in J and S and bummed that they didn't even respect a customer enough to make a phone call and totally blew us off.

Service was relatively rapid after I called to have my tankless water heater serviced and flushed…read more The water heater worked when they started (I had just had a hot shower) and didn't work at all when they were finished. They came back twice and could not fix it. I was told that it might require a $481 part, but that they couldn't guarantee that would make it work as the gas extractor might be cracked (but they weren't sure). Although they knew my water heater wasn't working, I received no more word from them for a week, until I called the following Monday. They said they would check on the circumstances and call me back that afternoon. I got no call until Thursday when a workman said he had a work order to come out and take a look. Meanwhile, as I told them when they originally "serviced" it, we were having 6 girls riding in the Tour of the Gila, and we needed hot water. So, I got someone else to replace my water heater. Although I hold J+S responsible for all of this, they have not accepted responsibiity, nor offered reparations. I could certainly not recommend them even for the simplest of plumbing jobs

Mimbres Home Inspection performed our inspection throughly and went above and beyond what I…read moreexpected. Our inspector was extremely qualified and prepared to inspect every corner of the residence including the attic and our crawl space and provided us with a better understanding of what to expect from the house we were considering to purchase. The house we had inspected was a small residence but she gave us a million dollar quality service and was prompt with an extremely fast turnaround time to get the results we needed to make the big decision about our purchase, I cant recommend this business enough if you are needing a home inspection. Buying a home for us was a long drawn out process, but our home inspection was by far the quickest and most profesional step of the entire process thanks to Mimbres Home Inspection.

Joe visited the old residence in order to provide a free estimate, which was realistic. (We feel several other companies lowballed the estimate. To be fair, they didn't have a chance to visit the property, but, for example, one company estimated three hours total, which we believe even an amateur would find wildly unrealistic, given our description over the phone.) In the end, we weren't 100% packed, and opted to pack and move some remaining small items ourselves. This contributed (a bit) to coming in under the estimated time, but I believe they would have anyway. We were delighted with their work, and with the no-surprises estimate. In keeping with the "and more" portion of their name, we've discussed two other potential jobs: running chicken wire along a fence, to keep a small dog in, and building an access ramp for my dad. We owe Joe more information about the ramp, but I can tell you that the estimate for the chicken wire was so reasonable that we immediately abandoned all thought of doing it ourselves.
