If there's one thing that is guaranteed to make you look cooler than you are, its sunglasses…read more Everyone knows this, even the people that don't. And if you wanna wrap your jeepers creepers in something that will set you apart from the average man or woman, well, where do you go? This is the problem I had. WHO CAN STOP ME FROM BEING ORDINARY. WHO? Lucky, then, that I was cruising down Crown Street a little while back and straight past Eyewear Youwear. Ostensibly an optometrist, but so much more. I wheeled back around and chatted to the German dude behind the counter, spent an hour trying on pretty every damn sunglass (is that the singular?) they had in stock. And they gots lots. From Graz to Chronicles of Never, Salt to Sunday Somewhere, its like they've got a mortgage on rad, this little shop. Be warned that cool don't come cheap, but then, can you put a price on looking and feeling great? Probably, I guess, but then that's really missing the point.

I informed the store and initially, they were helpful and suggested that I bring the glasses in to address the problem. I attended the store yesterday, where they replaced the rubbers on the arms but not the arms themselves. I don't know the reason, but the store informed me that my glasses arms were actually meant to be mismatched and I should just accept that that's how quirky glasses designers roll. This is the first time I've ever been gaslit by staff in a store as a paying customer. Now I'm in a position where I've spent nearly $700 on designer glasses with mismatched arms and no remedy available. Not happy.
