I get home with these trial contacts. I can't read the first thing. His advice was to wear a +1 reader with the contact. Now my purpose for contacts is not to wear glasses. Sometimes I just want to throw in pair of contacts and go. If I wanted to wear glasses I would have just got glasses and not paid the extra. 3 days later I'm struggling and just can't see out of the contacts and decide not to get the contacts or glasses filled because I just don't think they r correct prescription. I go back to the office and see the other dr, whom is female. She's gives me less strength script. Still can't see. No matter how much I explain that my primary wearing would be glasses and was concerned about that more than anything. I had said that 3 and 4 times to both drs and they just would not be listen. I'm at the brink of tears. I tell her I just want to be able to see. People do it every day I can't understand why they can't get me a script. She finally gives me bifocals. Fine I can see some things but not everything. I told her I would try those. She tells me. TRY! She takes that as here's ur script. I sat what about my eye glass script I've already paid for. She's like well I can get you one. At the point I'm beyond livid. Like they don't want you to be satisfied or see they just want to take ur money, write script and heard you out the door. I just moved out to the area so I went with a name I know, but definitely will be finding something closer to home next year.

With that being said, I was worried about driving all the way from Oxford because I wasn't sure if they were going to be able to make them that day and I really didn't want to have to drive there and back two days in a row. Once I got there and picked out my frame, they were able to make them in a very timely manner so that I could still make it back home before dark!!

Dr. Burks office refuses to complete a yearly exam if you don't agree to pay upcharges outside of your copay that aren't mandatory! You all better run to the professional optometrists who will provide yearly eye exams without forced upcharges to build their revenue! My family and I won't visit this location again!

Made my husband and I an appointment, they were running behind and hour. Then the tech and the new…read moregirl she was training started my eye exam and they wanted to ddeny having my eyes dilated. The tech told me I had to have it done or my insurance Davis Vision wouldn't cover my eye exam. So I went ahead and left them do it. My husband refused to have his done. I called my Insurance company after words and they told me they don't cover a dilation unless the doctor says it's medically necessary. At this time I didn't even see the doctor they just dilated my eyes. They are scamming people or should I say the insurance company to get their eyes dilated and just saying it's medically necessary. We will get back to them.

Losing my sight was an issue , but she kept me calm through the process. I highly recommend her. Dr. Brittney Rogers, you ROCK !!!!!!!

I showed up yesterday to pick up my glasses that were ordered two weeks prior. The office is open…read morefrom 8:00-5:00, but I am at work from 8:00 until 4:30. Since I only get a thirty-minute lunch and work on the other side of Tupelo, I rushed to pick them up when I got off of work. I arrived in the parking lot at 4:57 and walked up to a locked door. When the receptionist saw me pull on the door, she made eye contact. I told her I needed to pick up my glasses (through the door because they never moved) ... she proceeded to shake her head no at me. The lady from the glasses side saw me outside and came to the door and asked if she could help me. At this time, it is STILL only 4:59, which I explained and apologized for being late, but that it was my only opportunity to pick them up. She was very understanding, and the only positive to this place. I will be changing my eye doctor after this experience. I understand that everyone wants to go home, but if you are on the clock, you need to unlock the door and assist customers.
