He saw the dr for a consult and to set up surgery. The dr was great he even fixed the one eye right then which we did not expect!! It was great. Then he set up cataract surgery for the other eye. My husband loved this place and will definitely be our new eye care clinic!!! My husband being happy with the dr say's A LOT he is not a fan of any doctors. It took him 8 years and being almost blind after his last cataract surgery to finally go see another Dr.!! And for the staff... I handle all the phone calls and scheduling of appointments for my husband so that's how I got to know the staff and they are WONDERFUL!! Very nice and personable. I was a supervisor of a medical clinic for 10 years and I would of hired this staff in a heartbeat!! Thank you all at Royo Eye Care. Though the waiting area is quite small, only 4-5 chairs. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Dr. Toleman is now my optometrist & I am quite happy. He's a kind man with a gentle nature. He was very open to any questions I had and did not make me feel rushed so he could get to the next patient. They have a nice assortment of frames to choose from. They have 'economy' frames all the way to designer like Coach, D&G, Dior & Fendi. And to be honest the Coach frames I got were pricey but not extraordinarily out of my budget. Granted I also have decent insurance. The staff who are in the lenses area of the building are very kind & patient. They of course will try to up-sale you on everything but don't pressure you. I decided against the fancy-dancy lenses material and suck to plastic (for price purposes of course, my insurance will only cover plastic lenses). The gal I was dealing with just went over the differences of course between both but when I choose to just do plastic she didn't pressure me. I think she did her job well without being pushy. So, if you have insurance, I would defiantly suggest this business for your eye care needs. (If you have medical you should call ahead and see if they accept medical.) Oh yeah, and I don't believe you have to have an appointment, but it would really benefit you if you did.

The staff there were awful, and I got no help, and no further response... I came back last year to repeat the exam, ordered specific frames and lenses. The glasses came, but the frame was wrong and the prescription was way off... The ladies in the front office treated me like I had a disease, and were no help whatsoever. They will not help you, and, they don't appear to care at all... Dr Bradley is a nice guy, and competent, but, his staff are all one star out of five. They have a bad attitude, and are not service-oriented. If these were my employees, I would fire every one of them. I won't be returning to this office, which is sad, but poor service in a competitive industry, will lead to disaster... Dr Bradley's employees look like they want to run off all the patients, and they look like they dislike every person in the community! Wow, not great Doc...

Instead of acknowledging their mistake in quoting the cost, they simply expected me to cover the difference in full. Now I have to try to find that money to make up the difference. Otherwise, what all the money I've spent so far is a waste? I understand that errors happen, but a business should take responsibility when they misquote a price rather than passing the cost onto the customer. After reading other reviews, it appears I am not the only patient who has experienced what I would describe as rude and unprofessional interactions. I have been seeing Dr. Thacker since 2021, and I want to acknowledge that he has always been thorough, respectful, and professional during my appointments. I sincerely hope he has the opportunity to read and consider this feedback. My primary concern is with the handling of my eyeglass frames. On two separate occasions, the lab has damaged my frames while replacing lenses. The first incident occurred several years ago, and the office took responsibility and covered the damage. Unfortunately, it happened again. Most recently, I had an appointment on May 20 and left my frames to have new prescription lenses installed. I later received a call from the front desk informing me that my frames had been broken and that the office would not cover the damage because they were my own frames. While I understand there may be policies regarding customer-owned frames, the damage occurred due to an error on the office's side, not mine. Furthermore, I was never informed at the time of drop-off that I would be responsible if the frames were damaged. Had this been clearly communicated, I could have made a more informed decision and prepared accordingly. To try to resolve the matter, I called the office again on June 8 at approximately 9:55 a.m. and asked to speak with Dr. Thacker. I was told, in what I felt was a dismissive and rude manner, that I could not speak with him directly. I then requested that he return my call when available. During that conversation, I was told that I had already signed paperwork and that the policy had been explained to me when I dropped off my frames. However, I do not recall being informed that the office would not take responsibility if my frames were damaged due to handling during the lens replacement process. This experience, combined with the ongoing customer service issues, has left me disappointed and unable to continue as a patient. As a result, I will be taking my business elsewhere, along with my family members' business. I also intend to share my experience through reviews so that other patients can make informed decisions based on the level of service they may receive.

Butte View got the best Doctor and staff. They are sooo attentive and accommodating. Dr. Tran is the best.. She is very thorough in her examination with her caring demeanor Yuba folks, you are lucky to have her.. I have to do couple hours drive to see her when I need to. Thanks Butte View for my beautiful new vision and my new sun glasses. I love them. They are so gentle on my eyes.
