I come here mostly because it's convenient. You don't need an appointment, which is honestly the biggest plus. There's a large waiting lounge where you sign in with your name, date, and time, then wait to be called. That part is easy and efficient. Unfortunately, the actual eyebrow experience is a total hit or miss and more often than not, a miss. Every single time, I am very clear: please just do a cleanup and leave as much of my eyebrows as possible. Despite that, the majority of my visits have ended with way too much being taken off, and not in a flattering way. My most recent visit was especially disappointing. The woman who did my brows was very kind, which honestly makes this review harder to write. I again prefaced with a clear request to keep as much brow as possible, and somehow she still pretty much erased my eyebrows. It felt like the complete opposite of what I asked for. I think she realized she didn't follow my request because she offered me a free bottle of castor oil afterward. I accepted it just to avoid making things awkward, but truthfully, I didn't want castor oil. I wanted eyebrows. A good job would've made that unnecessary. I don't doubt that some people may have good experiences here, but the inconsistency is frustrating. When you're trusting someone with your eyebrows, "hit or miss" just isn't good enough. I wish they listened more carefully to client requests and focused on consistency, especially for something as basic as a cleanup. read more

It's 10:27am, Sunday, May 3rd. I just finished getting my eyebrows and upper lip threaded and OMG. The tech who took me did nothing but TALK using her earphones. I think that's super unprofessional considering I'm underneath here threading my whole face while she's non stop talking. All her spit flying o nmy face. If you get your eyebrows threaded, you'll know what I mean. On top of that, she cut my lip made my lip bleed! She should've just stayed home and chatted on her phone. @the owners of this place, i don't know the name of the technician but please address your staff. It's very unhygienic for her to yap away while she's threading my face. I was your first client on this day - you will see my name and who took me. I usually don't do this, but I just went in to get my eyebrows done. I have been there maybe 10 times before and never had an issue. But today, whoever did my eyebrows seemed to be in a bad mood or something. I walk in. She says one word to me to sit in the chair and that's pretty much the normal experience so I didn't really care too much about that. Then she starts doing my eyebrows very aggressively doesn't ask what I want does them very thin and leaves the hair all over my face. She then shoves the mirror in my face to look at my eyebrows and then handed me a tissue to clean myself up. In the process, she also pulled out one of my eyelashes and didn't seem to care at all when it was pretty uncomfortable. When I met her at the checkout stand, I think she could tell I was upset and tried to make small talk, but I was over it. I probably will be going to a different place from now on. At least I don't have to get my eyebrows done for another month and a half since they are so thin and crooked. read more

Highly recommend to stay away! Looks like it's a scam! I purchased the yearly membership for 300$ through their app. Then I get a text message from someone (that doesn't even say who he is)saying I need to send a proof of purchase. at the beginning I didn't even answer because I didn't know who it is then I called the number. And I understood and I sent it. They cancel my membership. I didn't even have it for one day. After I sent the proof of purchase, as you can see in the picture, they disappeared. They don't answer the phone calls or text messages. They just took the money and I have no membership. I'm going to dispute this discharge of course but I hope it won't happen to anyone else. Eyebrows R Us is a threading salon. They specialize in eyebrows, but do all of the body in their salons. I have only used them for eyebrows, so my review is based on that service specifically. And yes, it does hurt! Oh, the things girls go through.... I have been going off and on to Eyebrows R Us for several years now. I started going when they only had 1 store in the valley and have stuck with them through the years, on and off. I don't live super close, so I only visit a ERU if I am near one on another errand, otherwise I just wax my eyebrows at my local nail place. I have been to several of their locations and service seems to be the same across the board. So good points for being consistent on eyebrows! They always do a good job and I am always pleased with the look of my brows afterwards. The prices are also pretty good at $10 or you can get prepaid cards for discounted services if you plan on visiting regularly. The cards don't expire, so even if you don't go regularly, but every now and then, the card is still worth it. They also offer very reasonably priced unlimited programs for a month, 6 months, and up to a year. The reason I am giving them a 3 star rating is the customer service portion. No one ever seems to be smiling and or happy whenever I am there. I get everyone has bad days, but every single time and not one person is smiling.....Weird! No one is ever very welcoming or pleasant when you talk to them. They always just tell you to sign in and they usually just point to you when it is your turn. If it is your first time, they also seem a little annoyed during the threading if you don't know how to hold your eyebrow during the session. I don't think I have ever had more than a 2 sentence conversation with anyone at any of their locations. So if you want friendly people, don't come here. I went in today and just wanted a clean-up of my brows. I specifically said I liked my shape and fullness, I just wanted the stray hairs removed. The process was slower than usual and painful - which got me worried. I looked at the final result and I have thin 90s brows, my face looks fatter now because my brows are pencil thin. I have tried so hard for the last 10 years to restore them and she left them a thin small line. My face looks 5 years older at least. She was nice, but the end result was so unattractive, I'm now looking for an eyebrow tattooist to repair the damage. read more

This was my first time coming to this location because of a recent move... Anita did my eyebrows and although she did a some what nice job, she was so rude! When i sat down, I tried explaining to her the shape I wanted, and she didn't even let me finish my sentence before she placed her hand on my forehead forcing it down on the chair. Excuse me? She was not gentle at all while threading, she kept forcefully moving my head side to side, I didn't like that at all. She didn't say a single word to me. End Result: 3/5, she did listen to the shape I wanted but she didn't do that good of a job. I had to finish tweezing all of the leftovers she missed in my middle part and even under the brows! Eyebrows R Us is like the Mc Donalds for threading . It's fast but not always efficient. It's like the time you order Mc Nuggets at the drive thru and they forget your sweet and sour sauce. I had my eyebrows, upper lip and chin done. It was all done pretty quick and the lady gave me a chance to look for any errors. It's partially my fault because I didn't look hard enough. I'm just used to other places that really look you over before they send you away. It's not like I had a forest on my chin there was only like 3 hairs and they missed one. I think I would have been better off just to pluck them myself. So I just ended up plucking it. I just wanted to add that my brows were nicely done though. I would come here if I was in a pinch for time but I prefer mom and pop type of places because they seemed more invested your happiness. read more

I couldn't tell if the lady doing my eyebrows has a heavy hand or was taking out her frustration in my session. She seemed a little bothered from the 4 teenage girls that walked in in front of me. Her threading was not smooth. Mumbling with thread in her mouth I couldn't understand if she wanted me to "hold it" or move my face towards/away from her - so she took it upon herself to move it when she wanted. She didn't move to the other side to do my other eyebrow, she leaned on me (smashing my glasses against my chest) to get to the other eyebrow. I purchased the coupon today - $25 for 4 eyebrow threading. Good price but do they offer good service? NO. The lady was just by herself (which was ok) and does the threading so fast to make sure she gets all the threading she can that day. She's too fast that she doesn't care what the customer feels because what is important is that nobody waits in the waiting area and that she gets all the $$$. The funny thing was, even if I tell her that "it hurts, can you hold a little bit"... she waits for 2 seconds and starts threading. What a service, right? Go ahead and try - up to you. I started getting my eyebrows threaded at the location in Town Square which is now closed. I have visited this location several times but now have found I much prefer the one on Sahara and Durango. Overall this place is average. I had never been fully satisfied with my eyebrows until I started visiting a specific lady. Her name is Farrah and she is amazing. I would not recommend going to anybody else. She is the ONLY one that has ever asked me what I want to do and how I would like it done. While I have not had anything threaded other than my eyebrows, I am always happy when I go to her. I had a difficult time deciding what kind of rating I wanted to give. Two stars seem appropriate being that the aestheticians that work there aren't talkative, although not rude, and never confirm what I would like done with my eyebrows. It is the same at every location I have visited. Including the one on Fort Apache and Tropicana as well. I am still in the process of growing out part of my eyebrows so they can be symmetrical. I can't believe it took me so long to find Farrah. One good thing I recommend no matter which location is the annual unlimited eyebrow threading. I paid $150 for mine which ends up being about 10 individual times. Going every week or two definitely makes the price worth it. read more

I'm very picky about my eyebrows, VERY! I walked in VERY skeptical at first. I mean, you don't have that intimacy of being alone with the esthetician when they rip off the hair off of your face because you are in a salon style setting where everyone is getting their eyebrows done around you. But, the nice part about this place it that it is hardly painful, they use threading. Never really hard it, but apparently it is better for your skin and it a bit more exact and accurate than waxing. So far I agree. The only thing that I kinda don't like is that you have to tell them what you want, rather than trusting what is common. I mean, I aint to expert on how to explain how I want my eyebrows, and I don't really know what would look better on me and what wouldn't, so I go to a trained professional to tell me. I walk in and first off the 2 girls working act like they have never seen a fat girl before and say something in their language. Then they stare at me like I am a cow coming in from the range to get my eyebrows cleaned up. Then when I go to pay I tell her that I am a new client and that I am a new client and saw online you get half price. She says do you have a coupon. It doesn't state I need a coupon. I then ask her if I print it out and bring it back you going to give me my money she laughs and says no. All while she has had a snobby attitude. So i paid and said you don't get a tip. Normally I tip the girls at Diva Beauty 3 bucks, off of a few minutes work and $11, that's a great tip. Their associates need to know that yes even plus sized girls like to feel pretty not like they are something that shouldn't dare try to look nice. Pro: I usually came in about once a month to get my eyebrows and lip threaded. So I would always buy the 6 eyebrow and lip threading service for the $65 special which is a good deal since typically an eyebrow and lip threading would be $15 on it's own...so I give this place a star for that. Now let's get to the cons. I used to be able to get in and out of this place within 15 minutes. However, now it takes on average about 40 minutes to get in and out. A few times I've had to wait because the worker was chit chatting away on the phone and didn't even realize I had checked in. Other times there have been 4-5 people already in queue waiting to receive their service and only one worker there. For the actually threading the workers have been a hit or miss. There have been times when the workers don't even trim my eyebrows and it's very clear that my caterpillar eyebrows need trimming. Other times I've left with pencil thin eyebrows even though every time I tell them I want just a clean up and to keep my brows on the thicker side. I have been loyal to this Eyebrows R Us location for 7-8 years so it pains me a little to update this review, but over the past couple of years I really feel like this place has gone on the decline. I love this location because it is right by my house. The ladies are friendly and they work quickly and efficiently. I have never had a problem with them threading my eyebrows. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded here for months to my satisfaction. Until yesterday. They had someone working whom I have never seen there. I told her I just wanted a clean up and to keep the brows thick and long. She took off half of one of my eyebrows and made the rest super thin and short. She did speak English so that was not what happened. When I saw them I was furious and called the main office. They asked me to send a picture of it and after I did he offered me a comp as if I would ever go back there! Then he hung up and ignored me when I called back. They should be put out of business! We wanted to try this place out since it's near our house. I wanted to give this place a 4 but it was so painful. The tech I had was Maryam and it was a Saturday afternoon. She was by herself and it was so quiet in the shop. She did my daughters brows and my daughter was almost crying. She then did my eyebrows, she was so slow, but I could hear that she was precise on which hairs to pluck. The silence of the shop didn't help either. Imagine hearing the thread run across your eyebrow and lids and the plucking of a hair one by one. She did a great job, but due to the pain and more pain she incurred, we won't be returning to this place if she is the only one available. We did end up buying a bottle of overpriced castor oil though. That was convenient. read more

I go to the location on Rainbow and Hacienda. I love it! The technicians, Pat and Huma are professional and friendly. Most importantly they do a great and consistent job. Sometimes there is a 30-minute wait or more if you specify one technician over another and it's always worth the wait. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. After going to other threading salons in other cities, I can say the Eyebrows R Us model is superior. Highly recommended. read more
