Yes it hurts, you're getting hair ripped out but the girls are super international and are efficient and effective. Typically 15 ish mins start to finish. Thursday May 19th I visited this nail salon with a friend for the first time. My first reaction was…read moreamazement at how nice and clean looking the place was. The employees were professional and friendly. I wish I could say that my experience continued in that direction but it did not. I choose to get dip powder on my hands and gel on my feet. The color I picked for my hands (as you'll see in my pictures) has a special sheen to it. Unicorn dust I believe it is called. Well, unknown to me until I got my bill at the end of my services to have this done it was an extra $20. I totally understand certain "extras" need an up charge for the extra time and effort it takes to do. However, as this was the first time I was getting a color like this I was unaware it was anything extra. If I had been told ahead of time I would have picked another color. Then to make matters worse my pedicure was less than what I expected & paid for. I choose the middle of the road option ($50) and as I stated before had gel polish applied. I had asked to have my nails trimmed short, which didn't happen. I'm aware it was my fault for not speaking up unfortunately I didn't notice until it was too late. Now it is just over 2 weeks later (Friday June 3rd). I have 2 cracked nails, the $20 extra I paid for is coming off already, and 3 of my toes are completely void of gel polish. They didn't chip at all. Just fell right off. This is not my first time having my nails done. I've been able to go weeks at a time with no damage when using other salons. My friend that came with me has had similar problems as well. Sadly, given the cost and the result I will not be returning to this salon. You can see my pictures as proof of the situation. I thought I would treat myself to a manicure for my birthday today. The salon manicure is described…read moreas "A comforting manicure to make your hands feel like a million bucks! We will soak your nails, shape, cuticle push, lotion massage and finish with the polish of your choice." I had no soak and no lotion massage, no shaping........I did have a junior stylist that had no idea what she was doing. She cut my nails as short as possible, after the first one, I had to let her finish so they would all be the same length. After she cut them, she asked if I wanted them short. They use Zoya nail polish that has tiny brushes, she was dripping the nail polish on and spreading it out. I told her it was too thick and she said she was trying to get rid of the streaks, I asked to take it off a do just clear. She dripped that on as well. My nails are not even, they actually have corners. I am so disappointed. I came home, removed the goop, shaped and polished my own nails.
