The staff greeted me right away, no waiting around like some places. They took their time with the eye exam--super thorough, explained my slight astigmatism shift without making me feel dumb, and then helped me browse without any hard sell. Ended up picking a sleek pair from one of the newer designer lines that looked way better on me than I expected, and with their promo, the whole thing (frames + progressive lenses) came out to way less than I'd pay back home. They even threw in a free lens cleaner kit and adjusted them perfectly on the spot. Felt taken care of, not just sold to. Service was genuinely warm and professional--zero pressure, all help. Already telling friends to go here. Easily 5 stars for me.

The first thing that hits you is the huge selection that is available with all the top designers represented. Service,as is the case in Makati is excellent and prices are Sometimes 1/3 of what you would pay in North America. Specialty lenses however can take up to 10 days to complete and the sole reason Sarabia lost 1 star. We were able to pick up 2 of the newest designer frames for just about $210.00 with discounts and left very happy with the service, prices and selection.

For almost a decade now, I get my reading glasses from George Optical in Megamall. The very first…read moretime I tried them out was during a sale. I checked their wide assortment of optical products on display and I tried on some of the items. To my surprise, more than five pairs perfectly fit on my face. It was the first time that I actually had a say on the kind of eyeglasses to buy. You see, when I first started wearing glasses, I had a hard time looking for the right frame size. Most optical shops offer small frames that do not fit my wider-than-usual face, which left me with no choice but to settle for rimless eyewear whose nose bridges can be adjusted so the temple shafts (aka 'arms') can comfortably reach each of my ears. I'm not really a fan of rimless reading glasses because I find them too flimsy. My latest pair is made by Oakley. I never imagined this famous brand will have something suitable enough for the width of my head. Thanks to George Optical's wide selection, I had the chance to wear a good optical brand and buy it at a sale price, too! At George Optical, everyone is polite, from the staff to the optometrists or opticians. Plus, they have the latest in eye check-up equipment to boot. Always check out their sale items as the shop never seems to run out of top quality optical goods at reduced prices.

See the hassle? I know four-eyed people will feel me here. I first learned about the Sunnies by Charlie through social media. And I thought that these are expensive ones because of the endorsers. I've seen their shops too and they all looked sophisticated also the packaging of the products. A friend of mine gave me a pair of sunnies as a gift. If not because of her, I would not ever visit their store because I get intimidated easily. I checked out other designs because I loved the sunglasses that she gave me. For P299-P500 you can get a decent pair of sunnies!

I became interested in wearing Sunnies just a few months ago. My friends and I went to Laguna for our barkada outing and I noticed that almost all of them were wearing sunglasses. I looked terrible and awkward during our group photos because I felt like I was really out of place. When I went to SM Megamall to shop, I noticed that there was a small stall just outside of H&M. It was the Sunnies Studios shop that everyone was talking about. I always see it being advertised on Facebook and Instagram. The sunglasses that they sell look really expensive, but it's actually very affordable. You can buy a pair of sunglasses for only 400 pesos. They also have a variety of designs and styles that will look good in any face shape. If you're unsure on what to buy, Sunnies Studios has a basic guide on how to find the sunglasses style that will fit your face shape.

The place feels intimate compared to the massive malls everywhere else--more curated, less chaotic. I wandered through the high-end shops (that tourbillon watch boutique is insane), grabbed an amazing flat white at Yardstick, then had the best kinilaw and sisig at Toyo Eatery upstairs. The whole vibe is relaxed yet polished, and the Christmas lights this year are stunning without being over-the-top. Felt like a nice treat after a long week. Definitely five stars for me.

It even has a Roman Catholic chapel called the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I was interested in visiting this venue because, as the name suggests, this structure was once (literally) a power plant. After the power plant was decommissioned, the structure and land were reimagined. It should be seen as part of a master planned development. It also caters to some adjacent, legacy, high-end communities. This location provided an opportunity for me to people watch; examine products and brands unfamiliar to me; and to price compare goods in the PHL, versus back home. And there seems to be more "exclusive" retailers I didn't see at other shopping centers in Makati.
