I live near this Circle K and have been going multiple times a week for a few years now. I get gas…read morehere and sometimes I even stop by to pick up an energy drink on my way to work or a 6-pack on my way to an outing. Recently (over the last 6 months or so), I have had so much trouble getting in and out of this store. The cashiers either don't know what they're doing (ring you up incorrectly, don't apply discounts, don't know how the lottery tickets work, have to issue refunds due to mistakes) or are constantly upselling you/reminding you of discounts. While I understand (and appreciate that) newer employees need training and that my use of "upselling" may be interpreted by staff leadership as "sales" or "connecting customers with discounts", when there is a line of 5+ people at 7:45AM on a Tuesday and you're asking someone if they want 3 red bulls instead of the 2 they grabbed (despite the product display already expressing the discount), it's just a little silly. I've had to abandon what I was holding in line numerous times now just to make it to work on time and I even second guess going here in the mornings now. I feel it would benefit everyone involved if we could keep convenience stores convenient.

I understand the bathroom being closed. All three. It happens. What I don't understand is why he had to say, "Yeah, that's why they all have out of order signs on them," when We politely asked for clarification. I can't recreate the tone on a review - but I'm not sure what we did to deserve to be talked to that way. This man was condescending and unpleasant. My husband and I stopped pumping and abruptly went to an H-E-B fuel down the street. If you're reading this and you have any other option to get fuel - I'd take it.

It's in the middle of a bunch of ethnic restaurants and foreign grocers by the Medical Center. I've found that the gas is still cheaper just a little bit up the hill at the Valero. But this place is clean, clean, clean. It's spotless! It always seems to be picked up, and the bathrooms are rather clean. I like how they have a full (help yourself) bar for coffee drinks- with nitro cold coffee that puts the local coffee shops on the run. My fav thing about these gas stations is the name brand condiment station, where you can get the fancy stuff - Grey Poupon in little yellow packets, or Cholula hot sauce- Grab handfuls, because this is the good stuff! Best time to go is always going to be early in the morning before the warehouse opens. I've even…read moregone around 9am on a weekday and drove straight up to a pump without having to wait. Opening hours on the weekday says 6am but I've driven up at 5:55am and there were already people pumping gas. I love that I don't have to wait until opening, which makes me not stress about being late to work. Workers are always friendly as well, saying hi or good morning as you're filling up your tank. I'll always be using Costco for all my gasoline needs!
