1 STAR -- MAYBE CHECK THE TRUCK BEFORE DIAGNOSING IT ‍…read more Love's Truck Care in Mt. Juliet, TN... you guys seriously need to send somebody back to brake school. I came in for a simple TRAILER BRAKE ADJUSTMENT. Before even properly looking at my trailer, I was told I needed NEW SLACK ADJUSTERS. Apparently they have X-ray vision now and can diagnose bad parts from across the shop. Then they told me they wouldn't adjust the trailer brakes. Alright... no problem. I called a third-party mobile mechanic. He showed up, actually looked at the brakes, made the adjustment, and was DONE IN UNDER 2 MINUTES. Two minutes. No new slack adjusters. No parts cannon. No big repair bill. Just someone who knew how to adjust the brake. If you're going to tell an owner-operator that parts need replacing, maybe actually inspect the equipment first. Truck drivers already lose enough time and money on the road. We shouldn't have to worry about being told we need parts before anyone even checks the truck. Love's Mt. Juliet: before trying to sell truckers new parts, maybe invest in some training and teach the shop how trailer brakes and slack adjusters actually work. Save yourself the headache. Based on my experience, if you need a simple trailer brake adjustment, call a mobile mechanic. He might have you back on the road before Love's finishes telling you what parts they think you need. ONE STAR. The mobile mechanic earned the other four.

I loved this place, the owner is nice and all his employees are nice, until one day last month. I…read morewalked in and I had 2 coupons where you buy 2 packs of cigarettes and get a $1 off. I presented my coupons and this guy was a bit nasty saying I couldn't use my coupons because the brand I was purchasing was already giving $.50 cents off each pack. Said that shouldn't go against me and I said OK and left. But before I could leave the owner came out with 4 packs that didn't have the $.50 cent promotion and my $2 dollars and apologized for his employee. Then went back on June 17th, I had a coupon for $5 off a carton of my brand. There was no brand promotion, so the same guy came up with an excuse I've never heard and I guess he thinks I'm a stupid woman. Maybe they treat their women poorly in his home country, but you do NOT treat me like that. He said since they received their two week order, it was too late to use my coupon. I said no, the coupon is good till the 30th. He kept saying other gibress and I said well you do whatever you want to with coupon, but know this your boss just lost a loyal customer and that I'd never be back and I haven't. I wanted to talk with the owner and express my displeasure, but the only one that has been working is the man that treated me so poorly. I still give it a 3, but be weary of the gray haired man that works at this shop, especially if you are a woman!!
