How do I top Aliyah's review of this place? She should get ROTD for this!…read more So I walk up to the register with my 18 pack of Bud Light and the gal behind the register asks for my ID. I show it to her and she comments on how tone and buff I seem in my ID and she tells me that am even more awesomely tone and buff in person. She asks me how I do it and I tell her it's from drinking light beer - Bud Light specifically. I never even go to the gym I tell ya! So then I snapped out of my daydream and realized I was standing in the twinky aisle at an Exxon Tigermart. What a let down.... Ok, so it wasn't really a let down - this place isn't so bad. I actually prefer the Exxon Tigermarts to the Valero's around town because they are all so clean and spacious and this one is no different. This location can be extremely busy between 5p and 6p when everyone is getting off work. The parking can be tough and the lines inside can be extremely long - seriously. This is a good place to stop if you are EAST bound on 1604, but if you are WEST bound on 1604, it might be difficult to get to, especially if you have to get back on West bound 1604 - if that is the case DON'T stop here!

Now at this point my mom is having a nicotine fit and I'm trying to get her smokes but this lady refused to sell even though we are both very clearly over the age of 21. I get being safe about selling to minors but she went way overboard, I was trying to buy for my older mom not some kid. Not happy with the service.

This time, I went online, and made a reservation, so I could hopefully be whisked to the front of the line! On the reservation registration webpage, they specifically ask what kind of car I'll be having serviced. I filled it all in, and got a confirmation of my appointment. I showed up, and ended up waiting in the sun for 25 minutes past my appointment time before someone comes out waves me into the bay, where I wait some more before someone comes and talks to me. It's the mechanic, with a compass tattooed on his hand. He said that my car is difficult to change the filter on without burning his arms and he'd rather just not do it, and encouraged me to get my oil changed at the dealership. I was stunned. I don't drive a Lamborghini or some exotic car. I was displeased that they had the opportunity to tell me that they didn't want to work on my car when I made the appointment online the night before. They had another great opportunity to tell me that they didn't want to work on the car when I showed up and waited in my car for twenty five minutes. Any time during that twenty five minutes I was waiting in front of their garage bay door would've been a great time to come and tell me to quit waiting, because they didn't want to work on an imported vehicle. Even after I got guided into the garage bay, and as I sat in the garage bay and waited, they could've come out and said something about how they're not into imports and go find a dealership. They wasted my time. I'm not coming back. They certainly didn't get a honk on the way out of the service bay.

It's in the middle of a bunch of ethnic restaurants and foreign grocers by the Medical Center. I've found that the gas is still cheaper just a little bit up the hill at the Valero. But this place is clean, clean, clean. It's spotless! It always seems to be picked up, and the bathrooms are rather clean. I like how they have a full (help yourself) bar for coffee drinks- with nitro cold coffee that puts the local coffee shops on the run. My fav thing about these gas stations is the name brand condiment station, where you can get the fancy stuff - Grey Poupon in little yellow packets, or Cholula hot sauce- Grab handfuls, because this is the good stuff! Nom! I'll be back!
