Idk what the craze is about this place, but IYKYK. We are finally getting one out here in Arizona, and it will open in Goodyear on June 22. Be that as it may, I won't be going until probably fall, lol. I'll most likely be making another trip to TX before then anyway. This location is large and fully stocked. The same classic Buc-cee's you know is full of everything from housewares to clothing, car accessories to freshly made brisket sandwiches ans everything in-between! Service was great, and the cashier was friendly. I didn't get a sandwich this time around, but I did grab a few bags of beef jerky. They're my new favorite snackie! Every pre-made food item we grabbed was terribly over-sauced. Quality seems to have dropped significantly. The bagged popcorn I bought expires today and tasted like cardboard. Took one bite of each item of the $48 worth of food we purchased and threw it all away. Extremely disappointed, it seems Buc-ees has decided to cut corners and lower quality. The breakfast taco seem to be consistently good bacon is crispy bites and cheesy eggs. They also have a brisket taco which they try to remove the fat., which seems to be a good buy as well. Breakfast ends at 11:30 AM. I greatly appreciate a team member that really looked out for me and kept the last three bacon tacos in the warmer for me to purchase after the dental appointment. I know that don't do this, but I'm so thankful for her above and beyond customer service. I will be back each morning I'm near here and looking for a bite to eat.

The bathrooms are above-average clean for a gas station and are very modern. It looks like a great place to buy beer--they have a selection equivalent to a grocery store and a dedicated walk-in cooler. The food is another story. I've seen the food well-stocked, but I went in at noon on a Saturday for something hot and was disappointed. They didn't have the chopped beef sandwich or sriracha burger that they advertised as a special. I think they were understaffed and didn't manage to stock. I ended up with a sausage on a stick and a choice off the roller grill. They did have a good variety there, including a breakfast sausage that was tempting, but in the end I went with a pepperoni pizza grilled sausage, with some "chili" and cheese from the dispensers. Gourmet food it was not, but actually not half bad. The sanitary conditions for the food were good. The buns were individually wrapped, and the drink cup lids were in dispensers that cut down on fingering the stack. They had two Freestyle machines, and both appeared to be working properly, which you can't take for granted. The gas is a bit above average in price, but it's convenient and I'm happy to patronize it.
