The place seems to be a local hang out as I still remember the first time I came to Grantsville, two dudes with only half of their teeth were just hanging out here when I pulled up. All of the travelers in our group were pleased. Facilities were well maintained. Plenty of snacks and drinks available. Gas pump area had a windshield washer brush and squeegee, which came in handy. I'm not sure totally, but I think this started out as just a gas station and has grown because of nearby competition. It is more like a complex now. After doing some research I have found out that this use to be a BP station, but I believe it now sales Sunoco gas. I can't remember, I just pumped it. This complex is set up where you have several pumps in front of the main building. In this main building you will find your traditional convenience store where you will find a lot of the items you would find elsewhere. What differs about this building is that it is HUGE. Along with a traditional convenience store (which is big for the highway travelers) they also have a Little Caesar's Pizza shop on the one end and it is also attached to the IHOP. Along with the main building you have a Burger King that also sits on the property. So as you can see you do have choices here that range from breakfast to a fast snack. While on Route 30 there is not much choice of where to go, so when you come upon a gas station while you're nearing empty, you take the chance and stop. This Sunoco was a really welcomed sight along this stretch of road. Not much else is around and because of that it seems to be a very busy place among the locals. Gas prices were the norm for Pennsylvania. Inside they have all that you would expect from a convenience store and then some. That was welcomed to us since we wanted something to munch on for the rest of our trek towards Gettysburg. Staff were pleasant inside and accommodating.

That is the best way to describe it, rough. It is a small station, offering Liberty fuel. The pricing is what you would expect for the area. The pumps are dated and probably should be replaced, but who am I to say. The oddest thing about this place is that I felt like I was being watched the whole time while I was here. This place feels like a gathering spot. There were multiple people just parked on the outskirts of the parking lot. As soon as I moved my car, one of the people that were parked there hurried up to the spot. It was just odd. I didn't dare venture inside, partly because of the bad vibe I was feeling outside.
