The gloved cashier is nice and takes my money for the drink. I snap pics all over and another worker asks me why. I tell him it is for Yelp and he smiles and says that he hopes it makes more customers come in. I told him that that's the idea, and walked back out to my car. I watxhed them build this place from scratch, and it is rlas roomy as it is impressive. Drinks, donuts, coffee, frozen yogurt, and more! Check this place out while it is still sparkling! Murphy Express stations tend to exist in close proximity with Wal Marts since they are owned by the same company. Their store fronts tend to be quite small, since the Wal Mart is right there, so the things you can find in one are just a subset of what you will find in most convenience stores... just drinks, chips, and minor auto supplies. Since there is an auto supply store right across the street from this one, the auto supplies are even more minimal. Fuel here is usually pretty easy to get to, but the station is a busy one. There are eight pumps, and they are all being used on a regular basis. This is one of the first stations in town to run out of fuel when hurricanes come through, but also one of the first to get refueled. Prices are about the same as everywhere else in town. One of the highlights of the store is the propane tank storage they have. They have two cages with replacement LP tanks in them, but be aware that they tend to sell out quickly and replenishment is kind of spotty. They sell out quickly because the price is about five dollars cheaper than other places. If they are out, don't fret... head over to the Wal Mart's garden section; they have four cages there at the same price as the gas station, and they usually have tanks there because it is not as well known.

This makes it easy to enter and exit. The space is on the smaller side so sometimes pulling up to a gas pump can be difficult. They rarely run out of gas and their prices are always a few cents lower than their competitor across the street. The pump does dispense gas a little slower than what I am used to but it gets the job done. One thing I did notice which is definitely out of standard was the gas pumps did not have the seal showing they were inspected by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Although my card has never been compromised at this location, this is still something to mention. I have never been inside this gas station as I have never had reason to so I am unsure as to what they offer. In case you are stopping here at night, the gas station is lit enough to keep you safe and the location at the intersection makes you feel a little better too.
