And on this particular day I needed even more freshly brewed Coffee to keep me going and they had it so I got it. Now I believe I've shared this with you before but I like making my own "special brew" my own way thank you very much. Coffee here hit the spot and the station was clean and well stocked.   I also was looking for something to shove in my face but wanted to keep it light so I grabbed up a Farmhouse Garden Salad with Caesar Dressing which I found to be fresh and delicious. Loaded with tons of different ingredients that made it anything but boring. Nicely done Wawa. Service here was friendly fast and efficient as I was in and out in no time flat plus clean restrooms were observed which is always appreciated. I called Mt Olive NJ police and I told them what happened. The police officer shows up at the Shell station. The Shell Station manager complained I called the police . The officer said you can't fill gas in a diesel container. The manager gave me back twenty dollars of the fifty dollar Shell Card. When I returned home I realized I forgot the credit card. The card was still in the gas pump. The manager told me I was banned from his station not to come back.

I'd gladly pump my own gas just to not have to deal with pump attendants, many of whom I find to be surly, cranky, or just plain nasty. In particular, the pump attendant who works evenings at this Shell gas station has a pretty bad attitude. He is always muttering under his breath about something or other. If you ask him for anything, he starts grumbling about you. I ran into this nasty chap on the first night of my stay this weekend. I made the mistake of returning to this gas station three nights later and there he was again, grumbling and muttering. When he finished pumping the gas, I asked him for a receipt. He refused to print me a receipt and started grumbling again. So I had to go into the gas station and ask the store clerk for a reprint of the receipt. If it was no problem for the store clerk to print a receipt, why couldn't Cranky McCrankerton do it? No doubt a lazy, nasty attitude had a lot to do with that.

She informed me that the station is going through renovations soon, asked if I wanted a receipt, and made me feel like I was a person and not just another car going through the station. I did not go inside the establishment but I was in and out in about three minutes. Plus the price listed was cheaper than anywhere else I saw in the area.
