This place preys on the traveler who has few options and doesn't know the area. I was low and stopped for fuel. The price was at least .80 more per gallon than other area stations. Once I realized the price difference, I had him stop filling my truck at $25. I asked to use the bathroom and the attendant had zero personality or customer service skills. "under new management" sign was on the empty store front. I don't see this staying open with this price gouging, if the state authorities don't get to them first. read more

I went here on 12/12/21 as I was driving on 287 N and needed gas. This came up as right off the highway so I stopped. I didn't pay attention to the price since NJ is known to be cheaper for gas than NY. To my shock, after I filled up, gas was more than $2 more than the average price. The price of gas is always a dime or so different than another rotation that I totally missed the price until they were done filling. It's a whole $1 more than every other station around. This gas station's pricing should be illegal. They are charging twice as much as other gas stations in the area. We were driving home from Hershey Park and were low on gas, saw a gas sign, and this place was right off the highway. Didn't notice the prices were twice as much as the going rate until we got a receipt for $130! Whoever owns this gas station should be locked up in a loony bin. I have just past this place, the cost of a regular is listed as $4.35gal. Needless to say I passed that Exxon quickly and went to QuickChek. Price of regular is at $2.32gal over there, more or less inline with majority of the gas stations in the area as of 3/18/2020. read more

They charge almost double what the state average is. Last week while traveling through I made the mistake of getting off of the highway and stopping at their station (which BTW isn't that conveniently located because you literally need to do a U-turn there and back). I didnt fill up allthe way because I caught it. The state average was $2.47 a gal and they charged $3.99. And on top of that crazy price gouge they still had the nerve to give a higher credit price (as if they needed to cover CC fees with their crazy markup). There is no big price posting sign that I can remember (I could be wrong on that). For me the first time I got to see it was when I was at the pump and the guy was reaching for my credit card. After 10 minutes back on the road I had to pull into another gas station to and they had pretty normal prices. And guess what, they were right off of the highway as well. So I guess its not necessary to be shady when it comes to price. All consumers should punish a business like this business by passing it up. My fill up would have been $25 extra for no reason. This is disgraceful! My son stoped to get gas in his old car after work. He filled up regular and the guy charged him $105. He payed he is a young driver, not sure what to do. The other Exxon on the intersection of Washington Valley Road/Burnt Mills Road & Routes 206-202 is $2.79 per gal. while this one is close to $5. Most expensive gas station around. There is much cheaper gas right down the road, maybe 3/4 of a mile. Absolutely avoid. Always $1 or $2/gallon higher than market average. read more

I have never written a review for a gas station in my life and I likely never will again, but felt inclined to write one for this station. The cost of a gallon of regular credit is $3.89. Ordered regular gas, immediately after I checked my receipt and the must've misheard me. $60 later I had a tank of supreme gas. I brought it up to the manager who obviously didn't care about it, and he essentially said he can't do anything about it. Do not go here.
