There are only motion lights in the hallway annoyingly set to go off every 2 minutes and won't detect motion from inside the unit so your forced to constantly exit and wave your arms in the air. There's no bathrooms which is dumb. Nothing at all accomodating like a soda machine or vending. They say they are 24 hrs, but we can't even spend the day attempting to reorganize what was a very pushy rushed move-in without being treated as if we are somehow overstaying our welcome. They have this tempered assumption that everyone may possibly be planning on moving in or sleeping at their storage unit. It is like their #1 concern and they exhaust so much energy into making sure the homeless aren't trying to stay there. I once took so long trying to find something thaty husband fell asleep in the car and we were informed at the gate that they had better not see anyone sleeping on the property again or else! Every time we are there during the day we face the potential for a negative experience to the extent that we only go at night. We had to move a 5 person home and were already frustrated from being rushed out by the new owners (we lost our home due to Covid related reasons) We sold our home for cash at half the price it was worth to avoid foreclosure and were already stressed. All our things we unloaded outside and i worked all day by myself to get things inside the best i could while my husband worked, because he could not afford to miss even one day. Then, the establishment gave me a unrealistic time limit to get the things into the inside of the building and 3 hours prior to the time they even said, (it was exhausted and took a break when my husband had finally arrived to help) they came over and literally began screaming at us(one of the ladies even took off her Covid mask to do so) because they stated (on my life this is true), that our things being piled up outside was making their establishment look like sh*t. Then when i gave her a little additide and said are u serious? She told my husband that If he didn't shut me up and tell me to mind my additide, then we could pack our things and find another storage place. Why are my things still there? Because moving sucks and it's easier to avoid them the best we can and stay til we have it in us again to leave. They have made discriminatory degrading comments regarding my husband and my backgrounds also which they looked up after my husband mentioned having court in the afternoon. Our cases have since then been dismissed of all alleged nonsense. It was bad enough being falsely accused without having it thrown in our faces by our storage providers. They are evil. Do NOT get storage here. I swear they have found a way to make reviews like this disappear. Hope I'm wrong so it helps others steer clear of Superior Storage!
