They went over by 45 minutes. After I tipped each person in cash, they told me I owed another $375 for going over 4 hours, by 45 minutes! I was quoted $732 for the movers. I paid $1,107. The movers themselves were great. I thought I was saving money by getting a U-Haul and getting U-Haul associated movers, I was wrong. I should have gone with the big name company.

Our realtor recommended Two Girlz. They came in and helped her sort through things to keep, donate and move. In addition, they sorted out things being separately moved to a different address. I was very impressed by the professional and friendly attitudes of both Al and Don. They even moved a console piano (extra fee, but I knew that in advance) and were very careful with it. No damage happened to any furniture; everything was thickly wrapped in heavy moving blankets and was well packed. They also moved a bedroom set and put it in the garage so it was easier for a charitable organization to pick up later, and carried smaller furniture pieces from the basement to the garage for the same reason. The movers maneuvered a tricky second floor staircase at the first residence and successfully carried down a complete bedroom set with nary a scratch. Kudos also to Isac, who set up our move so quickly - I called on the Wednesday prior and was able to secure a crew for Monday, just a few days later. Very, very happy with Five Star!!

They were also cheaper than all the other companies. Day of, they came in prompt and wasted no time. I booked them for 2.5 hour min and had them move me out of my studio. I was out in an hour, which includes them breaking down my bed. They set up my bed and also unloaded everything in about 2hrs. They were not like cheap cheap ($500) but they were cheaper comparably by a couple bucks and were beyond professional, nice, and just really amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

They claimed more cubic space was needed, even though my items were dramatically reduced. Because of the price change and aggressive behavior the move did not proceed. I have filed complaints with regulators and the a bank dispute. I don't recommend this moving company to anyone who wants to avoid unnecessary stress and aggravation!

So I called FedEx customer service to inquire about this fee, which they said is not true. When FedEx customer service called her with me on hold, she stated I had UPS packages which I didn't, she looked at my pre-paid FEDEX ground labels herself. Her shipping store doesn't even accept UPS packages so why mention $2 fee to me and tell the FedEx rep I had UPS packages? Business must be super slow that she's feeling the need to try and scam prepaid customers out of money and not the cleanest place to do business store looked a mess! I'll just continue to make my trips to Gurnee FedEx or drop my packages off at Walgreens for FedEx pick up.
